  1. 5K beats it clean but obviously gets you nothing except the satisfaction of having beat out far S.
  2. That's because there aren't really that many "set" routes, more like rules of thumb. If you're close enough to the corner to get a double alpha, you want to keep your combo meter at 7~8 or less before you go into the alpha blade. If you want a knockdown from a normal launch, j.P j.P j.K(2) j.D works on every character. For dusts, j.D j.D j.D j.S dj.S tj.S j.HS beta is about as good as it gets. If you really need that last ounce of damage, lots of j.Ps and j.Ks jump canceled into even more dj.Ps and dj.Ks and so forth. If you absolutely need that knockdown or those last few pixels of damage, tack a ryuuyanagi (the shuriken air super) onto the end for a hard knockdown from any height.
  3. 2D into ressho combos cleanly from every distance on Ky and Venom. Wall alpha no longer needs to be delayed vs Slayer. Patch of the year. e: However 22S height change makes it so that 2D 22S land immediate 6K no longer gives you a comboable meaty against 20~22 frame wakeup characters.
  4. IB'd under pressure is -3, which means doing 5P is a guaranteed hit regardless of what Slayer does next, including under pressure->hold back and under pressure->it's late.
  5. The combo started at close to half guard gauge, it's not as damaging as it looks. Chappu's entire thing is doing flashy high-execution combos that are objectively inferior to bnbs in all aspects except maybe 10~20 damage. What makes me happier is that he actually got the ressho off the sweep from that distance on Ky. Looks like his hurtbox is finally fixed. Hope they did it for Venom too.
