GGs to Yaya, Mr.Biscuits, Zeth07, and the myriad other people I've played in the arcade lobby today. Definitely have to work on my neutral and defensive game some more. I know Kagura has a weak neutral and his defensive options aside from 2[]8C are non-existent but I was letting people get away with wayyy too much stuff and not controlling my space. Also gotta let go of the downback and actually start blocking overheads on reaction/punishing shit. Plus my confirms were terrible, sacrificing so much oki/damage potential when I actually did get a hit in. Oh well, back to training mode; this game is too fun.

To compound on this, I've found that something like this works on Hakumen in the corner (have not tested the others): IOH J.b > J.c > 5BB > 3C > 2D~A > 5D~A > Dash (hold 4 slightly after dash for positioning/orb) 5BB > 5C > 4[]6A > J.b > J.c (DMG: 2982) The last J.c can be drive canceled for a mixup on their recovery. I'm sure others can get much more mileage out of the concept than I, but it's a start; this character is lots of fun to play.

Booted up the game about a minute after it was announced on the IPW stream that the patch was up, wasn't prompted at all on start-up. tl;dr: Patch isn't up right now. The dream is dead, crawl back from whence you came.

I couldn't bring myself to play BBCS anymore. But since CSII is out now I might have to dabble in that for a bit just to see how it is.

Honestly, they way I think they should go about it is making a (bear with me guys) a Blazblue/Guilty Gear cross over but retain the GGAC battle system. Since Blazblue is in the title, it won't have a problem attracting new players and since we already know they're capable of making adequate tutorials for beginners (original Blazblue beginner DVD and CS tutorial mode anyone?) there's no excuse for players not to be able to ease into the new game. From there on out, I have no idea what they should do but at least that's a start.

This is good shit right here. btw Andrea, what are you looking for in games that you add to your tournament roster? Just the possible turnout?

I'm just gonna place my vote on Guilty Gear, the other two games (well I'm not too sure about AH3 since I haven't been too up and up on the FG community as of late but I would assume so.) see enough play at other tournaments. Since GG barely has anything that you can call a scene in the US that's double the reason that we should have our time/place to get together to preserve what little we do have.
