  1. Pretty sure it's just "proximity unblockable" instead of any sort of grab or strike. Has a low hitbox to get people who are that low to the ground. Tong if you really can't see the difference between "can only hit people who are in a technically "airborne" state but has a super-low hitbox" and "anti-air" please listen to other people instead of arguing with them.
  2. Oh, okay, makes sense then yeah. Dunno what that Dizzy player was on about. I did check though and there aren't any 1F FRCs in GGAC. Potemkin's Hammerfall is 1F in ACR iirc though.
  3. Ice Spike FRC is notorious, mostly because the timing on it changes depending if it hits, whiffs, or is blocked iirc. Luckily after #R (not sure about Slash) it wasn't as important to Dizzy's game. I think most of the harder FRCs are ones that need to be done with more precise timing to get specific effects out of them (Getting Jam's 2D to FRC on-hit, Millia's hair car FRC timing to get different mix-up options, etc)
  4. :D come back to us Mac we miss you ;-;
  5. Wall loop is still in and imo easier now, I've practiced it on vita ACR. Bit harder to set up since you can't FBPB from anything but you can charged Ryujin so yeah. What I notice now is you delay the H follow up more after 6H to let the groundbounce do it's work so you don't care about character specific hitboxes anymore. It's harder to get as many reps sometimes cause 2H lost untech time but you can do stuff like 2H 6H 214D for knockdown now no matter when it is or do 2H 6H 236SD and link to continue a combo
  6. Well it'd certainly speed up tournaments considering you're out an entire match when an IK connects...
  7. That's a link, and it's actually a fairly easy one, just a bit of trouble finding the timing. Make sure you're not mashing, cause you won't be finding the timing that way. The way I recommend to find the timing is to press 6H then immediately start holding 4P+K to Faultless Defend, and pay attention to when the green circle appears around Jam. That's when you want to be pressing 6P. Also remember you don't have to let go of 6 during the combo, and can hold 6 as you go from 6H to 6P. Later on in the combo 6H xx 5K is another link, but it's slightly easier than 6H xx 6P due to 5K having faster startup than 6P. The j236K is j as in jump, yes. Another way of reading that could be "TK Ryujin" or Tiger Knee Ryujin, so a 2369K would work there too...however there is a problem with your training dummy. That combo is character specific and only works against May, Millia, Faust, and Potemkin IIRC. With May and Millia specifically, you don't have to TK the Ryujin input even. Something you CAN do against Ky, and all opponents that are Millia's standing hitbox or higher is fS > j236K, again another TK Ryujin input. I'm glad you've gotten enough interest into the game to give it a try! Jam's a very fun character and good for beginners IMO, so I hope you'll have fun playing her or anyone else you choose to stick with in the game. Feel free to ask questions, and be sure to read the Jam guide and Wiki Page!
  8. did we put in a word filter or something
  9. ASW please confirm DLC costumes for characters so I can spend all my money on playing dress up in my anime fighting games please and thank you
  10. I should note I play on pad so that might change things lol, whoops forgot to note.
  11. Well got my time off confirmed, I'll be there!
  12. Assuming you mean things like Jam's IAD Gekirin? It's IAD then the input. If you're having issues you're probably doing it too slow, you need to do the input during the airdash itself.
  13. Hey guys since Sogos isn't allowed to post here he asked me to spread his PSN for GGAC+ netplay: Username: Sogos PSN: threethousand
  14. Posting for sogos since he CAN'T JOIN OUR COMMUNITY CAUSE SOMEONE WON'T UNBAN HIM PSN: threethousand location: East Coast
  15. I just realized Ky's "Dust" launcher/uppercut looks similar to his GG1 6P. Well that's neato.
  16. Just gotta get the time off which shouldn't be too hard then I'll be all set to drive out to philly again!
  17. If I said "the input for a tyrant rave is a right uppercut followed by a left straight punch" would that explain it for you
  18. In a word? /Yes/. Guilty Gear AC is readily available on all 3 major consoles (but we don't talk about the wii version), with netplay on PS3 and 360 if you're lucky enough to have a decent connection. It also rewards teaching fundamentals that will carry you over between all games. In addition, the version on PSN and XBL is AC+, which means it does actually come with a story mode, though it is one that takes place after the GGXX#R story mode.
  19. GGs Sogos SURE WISH HE COULD SEE THIS POST #unbansogos2013
  20. Ky is canonically right-handed, just as Sol is left-handed, so I guess that settles it.
  21. haw unintentional puns Also, according to Slayer at least, Gabriel taught Potemkin his fighting style and such. So I'm kinda doubting he'd join the roster unless they can vary his playstyle/fighting style up enough and even then I don't think there's much demand. The rest of what you said sounds about right though. Sin and Raven are important enough and popular enough to be in for sure I think.
  22. Like I said: the design itself is from a picture from a Guilty Gear 2 short story, the one where Ky asks Sol to take care of Sin. But it's not like it's uncommon for FGs to go through a bunch of outfits for their characters before they settle on one.
  23. He's just exhaling in the drawing, once he inhales it'll be proportional to the 3D model.
  24. So a while ago a friend of mine found what looked to be an auction for artwork of Guilty Gear characters. I assumed it was fanart at the time, but it did look like reference sheets and such for something in production. Unfortunately the item has been taken down by the looks of it so there's no source, but I can share the (admittedly low-res) images that I do have. Things of note: Well if these are legit Jam's confirmed, something that makes me happy. The art style does seem to be very similar to the art style used in GGXrd, so there's another point for it. Sol's outfit here though is completely different, instead based from his outfit from the GG2 short story that came out a while ago? But the symbol design matches the ones used on his gloves in the trailer, so there's another point for it. In addition, the sword looks VERY similar, many similar design choices, only looking like it's lacking an edge. I'm not saying this is anything more than speculation and take it for a grain of salt considering there's no source, but it is interesting.
  25. Next person to try to bring up "GG v BB" mentality is getting an infraction. Keep the shit to discussing GGXrd please.
