  1. Here's a picture of Jam I just finished on pixiv: http://www.pixiv.net/member_illust.php?mode=medium&illust_id=32312085
  2. I was hoping you could at least fraud out a win against my Sol :V
  3. GGs Star-Demon, Shishido_Baiken, Hakuwokk, and Saphri Star, you disappoint me. Shishido, so many guard cancels are gonna get you baited and destroyed. Get better at using the 412P one (the one that causes an axe to fly upwards), if you don't CH with it it's unsafe on hit. Good grabbity gear though. Haku, your Chipp is a lot more fun to fight than your Jam. I noticed someone's been watching Samitto~ Just be careful of getting happy with overheads on Jam's wakeup. I can't parry lows so you should use those a lot! Saphri, was good to see our connection's alright. I noticed some spots of lag by the end though...Would love to play more later! Had trouble adjusting to your Potemkin at first, so used to fighting Circuitous' Potemkin that I wasn't used to the Judge Gauntlets or reversal backdashes. Hope I can learn more matchup experience from you!
  4. Okay big things I notice: Your pressure is really REALLY weak, I was mostly just downbacking to see what you did/how you timed it, but it looked like you were spending a lot of time thinking about what you could do next. Now there's really no way to fix this other than PLAY MORE but going into training mode and getting comfortable with ALL of Jam's gatlings (there's a bunch) and spacing on her moves. Combos and hitconfirming are poor too. Learn her ground BnB I was doing, using the 6H 6P link. If you're having trouble with the timing, do 6H 4 in training mode and pay attention to the instant she starts walking backwards, that way you can find the moment to press 6P. Then you can end in knockdown and card and they're not across the screen. Practice your wall loops too, you got ONE and spent a bunch of meter you didn't have to to do it. Compare that to the number of times I got 3 reps on you with only using meter as a starter. Also speaking of meter, learn to watch it. A lot of times you did 5H (3) then tried to FBPB but you didn't have nearly enough meter. That's a tough combo to link, too, so unless you're super sure of being able to do it just go into her ground BnB! Also it didn't seem like you were aware of all of Jam's gimmicks and tools. I don't think I ever saw you charge a card, maybe once or twice, and having a Ryujin card stocked is a HUGE advantage. Now you can hitconfirm into huge damage and have 236SK as a threat to use. There's probably more but I dunno if I could think of it all without a face to face discussion. Are you going to WB? I might be going to that and we can talk there. Otherwise you can get at me on Skype/AIM and I can try to get more done there. A lot of it boils down to just keep playing though, and you'll learn.
  5. GGs again Braver and Hokuwokk! Braver: I felt like such an asshole in this matchup. Watch you play so well and do so much work and then I get 25 meter and lucky. Glad our connection is super smooth though, love to play more! Hoku: Talk to me on the Jam forums/in a PM/bug me on Skype if you want help, I can't type on my PS3 ;-;. I noticed a lot of things you could work on/need to practice.
  6. Bit early but I don't feel like digging up my old art thread so
  7. Okay, got some new notes for 3H, here they are: 30x2 Damage Level 5 Attack Can be blocked "Any", only be canceled with an RC. 5f Startup, 2(2)4f Active, 15+8f Landing Recovery, -8 on block Initial prorate 90% Crouching state during Landing Recovery 2nd hit can be cancelled into Charged Kicks That second note is really important. Have a card stocked and catch them with a 3H to punish a low hitting move, then go to the wall for huge damage it sounds like. Sound much more useful this way...
  8. Oh cool, explains why I never saw you lol. We should have a good connection then, sweet! We'll try to play tomorrow then.
  9. GGs tonight Brandino, sometime we need to set up a weekend for you to come over for us to not have to go through 2-3 matches of lag lol. Sorry to Kazu and Star, I think I saw your invites but I was too into fighting Brandino that I forgot about them plus I didn't want to drop our matches. GG really needs a lobby system. btw Kazu what part of Ohio do you live in? I don't think I've seen you around dustloop before :V
  10. gonna be on for some matches against star demon and Brandinoli, if you add me kazu we can probably play, should be a good connection since we're in-state.
  11. Even with AC+R coming out soon, that's still a great tutorial and I'm sure it'll be of great help. Thanks a ton, Pres.
  12. Yeah, I'd only be going to WB for GG honestly, but it'd be nice to see people again and get in some fun games
  13. is it bad that I don't want to make for-sure plans for WB until I know if you guys are going?
  14. It's okay Bibi, Jam's parry would just make you sad for Makoto :x
  15. speaking of GG, I'm jumping on. Maybe we can have a decent connection!? :3
  16. Millia's probably closer to Litchi than Jam is, more based around setups and mixups while Jam is all about that abare. Also re: Jam's DP: it's a lot like Ky's where you can low profile it pretty easily, but it's got plenty of invul. The main advantage it has over Ky's is that if you have a Ryujin card stocked you can go into 60-70% damage wall loops meterless cause she's dumb like that. Leo's right, since Ryuujin has strike invul on the first 4 frames it should be able to beat out SH and get a good CH combo, and charged Ryuujin is airborne on frame one for even more retardedness. Though, if you're at the range where Potemkin is doing wakeup slidehead and you could probably DP him, either he's doing SH or 6K so reversal backdash is probably the best option anyway. (or mash reversal super hue hue) bibi: I'm gonna assume you're saying Millia and Litchi aren't alike, which is true, but still closer than Litchi and Jam (why that comparison gets made all the time I don't know).
  17. Nothing practical off the top of my head, unless someone else knows! This weekend I'll try to pull something together.
  18. I'm probably gonna hop on tonight to get some training/games in, feel free to add me: PSN: Amadeous4446 Location: Midwest, Central Ohio Will probably be on around 7 or 8 PM EST.
  19. hi my name is julius and ORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORA
  20. Stormlocke we can totally do Midwest to West Coast matches right? :3 Well at least we can try, last time I tried to play Sanoshi it had a pretty beefy delay on it but the framerate was smooth at least.
  21. You'll know who I am cause I'll be the one drop kicking you
  22. Linear you're enjoying these new emotes far too much. Hey question about MAD, for someone who is terrified of public transit like I am, is there any way for me to get a ride from the airport to venue/hotel? Maybe I'll split a hotel with other people, not sure yet.
  23. Already got the time off for this!
  24. Testament's got no reversal to get out of pressure other than his counterattack and super, both of which are pretty easy to see coming and easy to punish. His meaty web oki is a lot harder to do with the threat of parry as well. You really just don't even want to give him a chance to breathe, and punish him for any whiffed normals. I mean, it's definitely not a fun match...basically you have to play around every thing he does. Here's a vid of Ka2 v. Shonen, you've probably seen it but it's very good and shows a lot of the matchup:
