Central Fiction Arcade Plot Discussion (spoilers)

So Mu is protecting Noel, who's protecting the Gate by cutting her off, and said gate is protected by Es? So the only two people who can open it are fused Noel and Ragna, yet Es is only supposed to allow Ragna in by the Azure's will? -

I thought it was mentioned that Relius cooked up a new container in Nine's likeness for her, and that Izanami was aiding in sustaining her? After all she fell into the Boundary, which not only drives those insane depending on the circumstances, but it also shreds your body apart. Probably why Trinity decided to go ghost, meanwhile Nine went nuts and became devoid of all logical reason after getting fished out. And it never was explained what in the world Nine brought back with her yet, and I don't think the playable cast has noticed it either. -

That also reminds me, did Nine ever factor in Celica's time limit? Her plan really looks embarrassing once Celica fades away regardless. -

Trinity only popped up at random moments it seems. I don't think she surfaced to even speak to Nine, or if Jin prevented it or whatever. Although with Nine's goal of "gather every Nox", I can't imagine how she'd react if Trinity was still stuck in it. And thanks to clarification Trinity isn't completely useless with her Nox, that's good. -

All defense? I suppose that's useful, but Trinity's stance on the current situation also hasn't been adressed. 3 of the heroes want to destroy the current world for different reasons, Valk is concerned about Rachel 1st and foremost, and Jubei randomly appeared again. There's also still her unresolved conflict over what happened to Nine. -

You know if Platinum won't fork over her Nox, it does raise the question of what Trinity would be able to do. If I recall correctly she had reinforcement magic around her in the novels and is supposedly better at casting barriers than Nine, but how useful is that considering the circumstances? Unless Platinum also poofs up some replica/imitation wand for her to use, what's the difference is she has her body or not? In terms of effectiveness she is the least powerful hero at the moment. -

So Trinity now has a body in her likeness that's her own to control? -

Wait a minute, she's not hitched to Jin anymore is what you mean? Last I checked she was still operating as a ghost of sorts. -

Pretty much. Whatever obsession over Celica she had before the boundary incident got amplified by the thousands. Although it's no surprise she'd suddenly resent Kokonoe, daddy tried the same thing and we know how she feels about him. I'm just wondering if she knows that the original Celica was killed already, because that's partially why Kokonoe didn't show much concern over her methods. I'm a bit disappointed because I didn't want that route for Nine. Now Noel is going through the wringer again too and Lambda got snatched. -

We need Celica's arcade now. She's the only one psycho big sis would probably listen to. -

Trinity should have been unaffected by the Embryo world like Ada since she's in a Nox. If she put herself into Muchorin, I'm guessing she can get herself out if there's a need to. Although that means she'd be without her strongest asset, which is why I think she hooks up with Jin to (presumably) retrieve it from Platinum in Act 2. Given that Platinum is an unstable host for some reason now, she probably can't do anything without fading away alongside both of them. -

Naoto's existence threatening Ragna's also indirectly puts Ragna in more danger of kicking the bucket when this all ends. And since Naoto is going to be stubborn until he finds Raquel, there's that for him to worry about too. -

The way Nine has this whole scenario is fascinating though. Jin, Hakumen, and Izayoi all want his head on a stick, but first she wants Azrael to awaken the beast with him before Doomsday. At the same time, she's sending everyone else after Izanami and wants Ragna to be the one to finish her as her "wish." Due to Nine, Amane is now also forced to parade around and do whatever God knows. -

I honestly think Trinity is on a mission to secure Muchourin back from Platinum, if that makes sense. Unless Platinum randomly shows that's she's not useless with it (since Trinity did everything major), Muchorin probably won't be utilized to its full potential. The story would probably hand-wave why both have the same Nox, and I think it'd make sense to finish out Ragna's chapter with all 6 heroes joining the fray. Hopefully Act 2 explains this and why Trinity clung to Jin for dear life. -

True, I can't deny that Trinity did start the snowball effect. It's actually interesting because it doesn't seem like the other heroes (aside from Terumi) share her sentiments, but that's probably because they didn't experience it as bad as Nine had it so far. Act 2 has it looking like her split from Platinum will be either long-term or permanent, I only recall her spirit appearing alongside Platinum in Hakumen's arcade as a mere illusion. She has art now, but as said before so did Kokonoe in CS. It's only somewhat significant to me because they usually just changed the shape of Platinum's eyes when she spoke before. The last time a character split for story-related purposes, we ended up with Terumi. The only downside to her separation is that Platinum herself basically lost her source of plot relevance. -

It's a safe bet to say that Nine harbors some sort of malice towards every hero so far, correct? In a translation of Terumi's arcade he mentions how he basically kicked Trinity down into the boundary, and Nine replies to him with something along the lines of "Yeah, I knew what type of people you and Trinity were." Since the summary for Platinum's arcade just mentioned her being "unstable", was there anything significant (aside from sending Platinum on an Izanami-witch-hunt) Nine said to her? A mention of perhaps the lack of Trinity since she's apparently with Jin now?
