  1. CH hell's fang pushes the opponent back more. could make some old follow-up combos impossible
  2. ¯\(o_°)/¯
  3. ah thanks alot
  4. ahh that sux. to be honest I couldn't even get the 2D, 5C, H.F., 22C down. Is the harder variant posted in the combo thread? I'd like to know just for curiosity's sake.
  5. Actually, I'm having trouble with the 214D after the first 22C, 5B. Do I have to dash in really quickly before I execute the 5B? I can't seem to get the 214D to land even if I'm just doing the 5B, 214D at that distance.
  6. This is the best Heatless combo to perform after a counter-hit Hell's Fang that I've found so far CH hell's fang, 5B, 6A, 5C, 5D (1 hit) -> Gauntlet Hades + delayed followup, 5B, D inferno divider + followup ~ 3665 damage I've tried to do the 5C (hjc), j.B, j.C (jc), j.C, j.D, D inferno divider + followup after the GH followup but I can't land the 5C. I'm delaying the GH followup as much as possible so I'm not sure if it is possible. EDIT: to make sure the D inferno divider hits, make sure you do not delay the GH followup as much as possible.
  7. Actually, something strange concerning the spinny super happened to me today. I tried to carnage scissor him just as he was starting his super. It ended up clashing and (since I was pretty sure I was gonna die) I just mashed buttons afterwards. Luckily, I scored a counter-hit 5B and just continued to combo. So, when the supers clash, is tager no longer invincible during the super? Or did the tager I play just happen to accidentally cancel into something else after the clash, allowing me to get the counterhit? I saved the replay if anyone is interested in seeing this, but it didn't really explain much to me. EDIT: If what you said is true, then should I just cancel into a DP after the clash?
  8. you don't really have to dash in since you'll end up really close to them anyway. but yeah, go for any combo you're comfortable with.
  9. You don't have to IB it to carnage scissor. If you want to do something other than that, you may have to IB it cuz i've tried dashing, IAD, and HF on a regular block and the sword still gets you. To be honest, the 50% for damage + getting close to v-13 is well worth it in my opinion
  10. You should be able to do that combo on all characters. I noticed it is a little easier to execute the second inferno divider if you wait for the opponent to drop a little lower (almost at ragna's level) before connecting with 5B. However, once you start getting used to doing 5b -> 623D quickly, it doesn't really matter.
  11. The most common string I've experienced starting from the sword that comes at you horizontally (sorry I'm not familiar with v-13's moveset) can be blocked all high. After the high sword that comes down at you from behind they usually try the low wheel, which can be IAD'd over and punished (usually). Of course, it gets much more tricky once they start dashing in to cross-up or grab.
  12. Adding to what prototype mentioned about 5B: it is a reliable poke but if you can land it on him, he can 360 you. (at least i am lead to believe so. I was once 360'd at the start of the match for throwing out 5B, which is pretty much max distance for that poke)
  13. I generally find that as long as I am not cursed, I can be very liberal with the C and D inferno dividers. Try your best to get the solid hits (ones that you can followup). Since most of the Arakune players I've played like staying in the area above me, I try to dash under them and find a good angle to throw out the DP. They actually land quite often but the damage that you can get from the 236C -> 236C -> 5B -> 623D -> etc. isn't so great, so you'll have to wait for Arakune to be grounded if you want to dish out real damage. oh and don't try to carnage scissor out of the curse. It's highly unlikely that you'll make it past all the random crap going on. ... that's about all the advice I can give. There have been sometimes when I am COMPLETELY locked down in the corner while cursed (arakune player continuously uses this projectile move at mid-distance and bees doing their thing). All I can do is block and every time I get guardcrushed. Any tips on what to do in this situation?
  14. oh, alright. thanks
  15. I saw something unique in this video http://dic.nicovideo.jp/v/sm7337713 At around 00:17, kaqn did a really short dash into a 623C. However, the combo afterwards is pretty much the same as a combo he would do if there wasn't a dash. So i guess what i'm asking is: Is the dash necessary to combo from 623C at certain distances? If blocked, does ragna pass over the opponent? Are there any moves that you MUST use the dash to land a hit as a reversal?
