Central Fiction Arcade Plot Discussion (spoilers)
Kenji Harima replied to Chaoschao222's topic in Zepp Museum
Do you mean "crucified" girl or might another glimpse? It's a look of the Prime Field Device: an artificial "girl", a mindless android. Everythings changed after "it" had gained a soul. However it doesn't look so "mechanical" like I used to think. Unfortunately we haven't got any hints about "The Girl's" look. It's an interesting question but it depends how much "Drive" resemblances an original owner of the soul and about that we don't have (any?) informations. Just that Drive it's the manifestation of the Soul. What we know that Relius has an ability to see "shape of the soul" so probably he customized Saya's body and changed Saya's look for better compatibility between vessel (Saya) and owner of the vessel (Izanami) like in the Kazuma/Hazama/Terumi case. I was guessing that her look might be a purpose mystification for NOL and their citizens like: "People! The Emperor is from Amanohokosaka too, so everything it's fine. Just forget about previous leader". Apart from your question I think that Mori made intentionally Izanami's look similiar to Saya Terumi and Azure Shrine Maiden or any representant of Amanohokosaka Clan. Why? it's the easiest way to confuse all fandom. -

I would rather say that not Ragna is older but his soul -> original owner of his soul might be related to person who soul OPFD gained. In other words -> both of them were living in the past and known each other. The first questions for this theory guesss are how Ragna's soul was extracted from the Azure (which contains a lot of them) then how did travel throught the Boundary and finally how did someone put it into his body? The second if someone even was able to do it (probably Relius) why did something like this? Another experiment in purpose to brought OPFD's soul to the world? And finally how they got to know about this possible relationship? Of course OPFD except of data about the Boundary, Azure etc. could provided a memories of soul which has possessed cause we know soul contains memories. I am really curious what will happen if Ragna tells his life story to Noel or something like this: "You know... From the beginning you have resembled my sister". After all he promised her that they will talk to each other. A whole universe will explode probably. However both of them got flashbacks at the end of CT thanks to Cauldron (Sheol Gate). First Noel had got got Mu memories (there were also her meetings with Rachel in this white room which is probably another realm of the Boundary) and after she looked at Ragna's back she got another. I would also like to say that she seems to be confuse not only wtih Saya memories (+ emotions brought by them) but her own feelings which have been development throught the game. I am also interesting about Nu yandere-thing, she can compete in this with Jin. Oh.... and Nu seems to have Saya's memories too (her alternate ending in Calamity Trigger). Definitely Saya is one of the most mysterious person in the game. -

I understand that it's empty in the way that the OPFD as device it connected (physically) to the Master Unit but doesn't have a soul. I have mentioned it because I have seen on several sites that some people have interpreted it that nothing/nobody is/it linked to the Master Unit and totally forgotting about disturbing view on which a blonde, pale girl is crucified. Just huge satellite it's flying and chilling around without any wielder. In the reality... I am still asking myself with these questions which you have brought and more others before I wrote my previous post cause I don't have a really reliable and reasonable arguments about it. 1) In the beginning I thoguht that she (I would stay at term „she”) was doing Phenomenon Intervention subconsciosuly (as the Noel on this world, she can use the power of Azure and still observes the world) but there is a problem... A girl named Noel Vermillion as I remember survived in several timelines right? (Informations from the CT). Speaking of specific „Phenomenons” like „time rewind” if I am correct Takamagahara System was responsible for back to the previous century whenever Ragna and Nu-13 fused. Of course they aren't powerful as much as Amaterasu but they could rewind time. It could be that „god” angered with it and try to do something. There was also a possibility that „she” exchanged their souls (that's why a „real” Noel was in the OPFD) but thanks to Mu Act'3 ending we know that Master Unit it's „empty” so another theory going to the bin. 2) How did OPFD's soul could survive? This soul is „special” somehow because from all which the Azure contains this one possessed the OPFD. As the „Eye...” it might be not so easily destroyed even if the Nox Nyctores would be used (cause Take-Mikazuchi it's one as well) and always will be back to Master Unit throught the Boundary. Speculations I know. We have a Jin and Hakumen who also have different story from one point but the same origin (however Hakumen's soul seems to be changed a little) and Nu's soul always survives too. 3) Yes, the most problematic question because it's excluding two points which I have brought before. Only in this one timeline she was able to rescue Ragna from sink in the Cauldron. Too simple theory I know but this is creating another questions: Why was she waiting so long for the occasion? Why did so many loops need to happen? Etc. etc. However all this mess seem to not be so tragic as I used to think for Noel. Especially because Amane (according to his Act 3's ending) wants Noel to surive thanks to his idea to send Amaterasu throught the Nemesis Horizon + change the god. This issue still has many mysteries but whatever going to happen I hope that subject's origin knows as „OPFD called Noel” won't be another loop created somewhere by someone -_- It might be obvious question but... when and how is a new soul born in the BB's universe? Sentient creatures (excluding some exceptions) are probably easy case → someone was born so the soul (thanks to the Azure probably). Artificial creatures → there is a need to put someone soul, doesn't have own. I have forgotten if there is a possibility to create strong one from smelting many souls. I used to think the Azure Grimoire (isn't powerful as the Azure but still related to it) also gives a self-conciousness to artificial being. I know that Azure contains souls but the list of Azure-related beings list it's longer but we really can be sure they have a soul? I doubt that Relius be able to extract one or rather to say "something" from Rachel or Valkenhayn. Excatly. Personally Mu and Noel can't be the same anymore. However Mu could be a personification of Noel's "bad side" personality if she would possessed "hate state" which she used to show. You know... This "mad magicial-scientist" has transformed both his wife and daughter so... nothing new. PS. Mind blown again. Sorry for my english -> hope that all my posts since beginning are readable (especially long like this). -

I was writing about her body not the soul but yes, these experimentations could be really painful. Maybe. However one of this forum's user (VermilionBird) has written on his blog (which it's a reliable source of informations by the way) that Terumi brought Yukianesa near the church in goal to weak a barrier made by Celica. -

In my very first thought I was sure that this is her looks in the ghost form: you know similiar to this Terumi as funny black-green snot. Nowadays I am afraid this is the real „customization” made by Relius: no bones, no eyes, no real hair, nothing. Btw. Double post my dear friend. Of course a way to destroy Terumi was complicated and had several factors but if our heroes might want to extract Izanami from Saya in similiar method like they did in Terumi/Hazama issue they have an one advantage which make this thing a little easier: Saya's conciousness it's almost totally dominated by Inazami → this trait makes that Izanami is always in the „foreground”. She only feels Saya's attachment toward Ragna, Saya's dislike to Terumi, she can manipulate voice and facial expression to look like Saya and finally she had strange („paralyzed”) reactions when she was fighting with Naoto but to at this moment Hades haven't shown (yet) any sign that they can switch. The last hero who I mentioned might become another factor in a long process defeating of Izanami thanks to this specific relation. Unfortunately actually nobody probably concern about Saya except Ragna and maybe Celica. Noel will show some empathy if he finally tells his story. Whatever. After all why did Saya give Jin the Yukianaesa? Did she want to has a better relationship with second brother? Do you really can be sure that she is not the same person or rather I would say she hasn't got the same personality as The Girl? I used to think that „soul” not only gives a life but also determines a personality especially it has a previous owner and was brought again to the world thanks to experimentation. I agree that original owner of this soul (The Girl) died in the past (I assume that Izanami speaks truth about their lifetime and she was living in the BB world too. I have excluded in her case the conditions in the Boundary and fact that Azure is gathering souls from various timelines, worlds etc.) and it should be in the Azure but I am afraid that Noel would become a mindless empty body without it + the all idea of „Successor of the Azure” can be thrown to bucket thanks to revelations in the CF: Noel didn't become a „Successor...” because the Azure had deciced it but somehow „The Girl” soul travelled to the BB world. However she was able acknowledged Nu-13 as „Successor...” too. It also depends how long she possess OPFD's soul: proably from the beginning or better to say after Take-Mikezuchi nuked Ikaruga → at this time Noel Vermillion was born and start to sharing a body with Mu-12. I think we can assume that „The Girl” in term of personality was the same as Noel now. I am curious if Noel get access to memories of this soul which she has cause as we know soul contains them (it must cause OPFD didn't give shape to the world thanks to own memories because she was a robotic girl, a device, an android. It was able to do it cause it gained soul of „This Girl”). In the game there was one good example when a soul „activated” in someone body and brought own memories: when Nu controlled Lambda at the end of CS. Hazama can live without the soul cause he is the Azure Grimoire itself, Clavis was Azure-related being and Murakumo seems to gain own soul or better awareness in the smelting process (or finally Relius has this ability to manipulating souls thanks to a lot of data which OPFD gave). I would also like that in the Act 3 ending Ragna he was speaking that this girl (woman) seems to know him and if he hasn't at mind Noel that might means that Ragna's soul it's from the past (the same as "The Girl") or she choose him as the Hero from the Book. Of course there are my speculations and in the reality it was just Ragna's loose thought stated from vision at Act 2's ending and nothing more. Damn. I haven't written yet half of my thoughts cause I confused myself when I was writing all this. Lol I will end at this point. If I have forgotten/done mistake or changed a fact please correct me if I'm wrong. -

Central Fiction Arcade Plot Discussion (spoilers)
Kenji Harima replied to Chaoschao222's topic in Zepp Museum
1) It was right "at this moment" (if we agree that "this moment" was inside the Black Beast) but next Rachel said (according to her Act 3's ending which you mentioned) that it's better to acknowledge this power cause Noel actually is enough strong to control it -> the force to slay the gods. However Noel deciced (much as Ragna) take her own path but still Rachel suggest her to rethink about it. I don't think it was good for our green eyed beautiful blonde girl to reject her cause Mu can be a powerful ally. Actually it seems that nobody care too much about -12- even as a tool which can be used. Mu still possess her tittle as "Kusanagi": not be "Eye..." anymore cause she will be probably able to open "The Gate" by herself but like we see she is still a threat for gods. She might be a factor or one of possibility to destroy Izanami apart from Lynchpin and Immortal Breaker by Izayoi: - Drive status is the one side but on the other Izanami is still a being who was born in straight line from the god. 2) Speaking of Saya case it's really hard to tell. The way to finish Iznami like Terumi in CP isn't possible cause Hakumen "Time Killer" technique won't help: Izanami is unaffected by time. It's also depends if Relius really created her or only customized (btw. I don't like the idea that he might be responsible for creation of blonde-sibling cause it's bringing a really dangerous theory that all events since CT to almost half of CP were "staged" or they were "calculated risk" for example both Terumi and Relius could knew what A will do if B incident going to happen. Too much explanation for this post so I will skip it). However I will point two people who are might be able to split her: A) Relius who I mentioned before (unfortunately he won't help, we know that) B) Kokonoe (she is really fast-learner so I won't be surprised if she get an idea how to manipulate/transfer souls like Relius) However I am afraid that even if Saya back she won't stay alive too long -> it seems that something happens to her body cause Relius was controlling it on his Arc 2 ending. She seems to be also more like a doll now, a real one without any solid body structure (but it's a guess based on her behave in-game nor the story). Maybe but I think that she has become much more interesting since they are separated -> she was only Noel's "ace up one's sleeve" but now it seems that she took first step to find her own awareness. Of course in these Act stories she really wants to know why Noel rejected her like she is missing of or something like that. It isn't a huge development but on the other hand she is definitely more collected than Noel now and far away from her typical "Hate" state. Even Izanami manipulation (cause I doubt that all her words are reality, more like a possibility) on Act 2 didn't impact her too much. I also add that it's quite funny how many characters are confused between her and Noel. -

She saw "something" (probably much or less potential future) inside the Black Beast and that view frightened her a lot so she not only sealed this memory but "cut off" Mu and finally everything what she saw or remembered thanks to Mu (Terumi for example). She rejected that "child" power (Mu-12) in goal to protect "that person". This "person" can be OPFD so: 1) She doesn't want "kill" this "person" or in better words open The Gate cause she knows that it will bring threat to this "person" (Remember that she still doesn't know that she is the Amaterasu.) 2) She doesn't want any power However in Mu-12 ending Izanami told Noel that she is the "Origin" so sooner or later Noel will know the truth. It's a step back in Noel personality development which we have in the CP but if sum all this arcade endings in the CF there will be another, similiar develope. Oh and I will add nice screen of potential vision this rejection: She is still somewhere in the Embryo -> we don't have her Act 3 but we know to this point that she is Entitled too and her desire it's to protect both Noel and Tsubaki. -

Nice explanation like always. I have forgotten many facts from the game that's why I have starded adventure again from CT. I would like to add that he has a nice tattoo on his collarbone. Apart of game there is a short story "Innocent Black" where a Black Beast takes humanoid form -> in looks it similiar to Ragna. Murakumo or not definitely not a "pure" human. Both Hazama and Terumi endings (and some others hereos too) brought an idea that it's a possibility to get a vessel. It depends which Arcs more or less will be add to the main story. The game istelf doesn't have a long duration: it's still January 2200 (ok they are in the Embryo now so time might working differently) so one week it's enough time for his goals even if he won't able find/get a vessel. I know that Kokone has a trait to hide her emotions or at least they don't have impact her so much but as we have so many chars who hate Terumi and would like to kil him I am wondering about other options. I think that Kokone herself might take bigger role in conflict with Nine than Terumi. -

If we are speaking about Terumi traits (previous posts) I would also like to add that there is one feeling which makes him stronger -> hate. I have been wondering since Continuum Shift what happens if somebody will give him some love??? It sounds irrationally but it's still a way to destroy him permanently apart of seal his soul in the Boundary (again) or Lynchpin. The only person who will able to do this it's probably Celica -> she is the most good-natured and enough mentally strong. Technically it's still a Murakumo Unit so even if both of them are special I will stick to the idea that merge between Kusanagi and "almost perfected" Azure Grimoire (Hazama) will make another Black Beast. I doubt that even if they become a new creature it will obtain some "godlike" powers cause Mu-12 seems to lost her status as "Eye..." since her and Noel have been separated. -

At least their survive was explained much or less: Makoto, Jin and Relius have strong soul, Ragna was protected by Tsukuyomi in the travel through the Boundary, Terumi has an ability to live in soul form, Nu it's a Murakumo Unit and both Nine and Trinity are magic users, Hakumen was protecded by Susano'o Unit but lost a lot of power. Of course it's giving an idea that some of them might be even immortal if their soul won't be destroyed permanently. It's always happens when you bring both "mutliverse theory" and "time travel" in the one universe -> a possibility of never-ending story. -

The problem it's that the OPFD was created before the Dark War. Of course there it's still (dumb) possibility that this head was dropped to the Cauldron or got inside own Cauldron somehow and travelled through the Boundary but this will make another unnecessary loop. -

Mainly yes. Many parallel worlds which can have many different (!) timelines but in the one basic they are same -> The Boundary and the Azure are unique and so the Sankishin. This world is now the origin cause probably only here humanity have gone so deep throught the Boundary and contact with the Master Unit -> These events caused a "born" of "Successor of The Azure" who seems to be linked to this world. Rest of story you know. It's not the fresh idea cause for example DC have similiar things in their comics -> multiverse yes but still there are omnipotent beings which are the same and unique for all. Hard to say. Her soul wasn't destroyed definitely but she is the Embryo (not this one in CF of course) so it might be a way to bring her back physically. -

Speaking of Rachel I have been playing Calamity Trigger recently and thanks to revelations in CF as well as Noel and Rachel arcade endings in CT I am starting to think that she knew from the beginning who is not only Succesor of the Azure but also the wielder of Master Unit. This "Sleeping Beauty" and white room (a little different than Takamagahara System) are so obvious. My bad, I have just forgotten about T-System and Takamagahara organization. Still it doesn't change the fact that it was before the OPFD had gained a soul. However there are many possibilities whatt happened to Saya T. in BB timeline, too many (for example: copied, transformed, altered, put down to sleep, whatever) to write them all so I will skip it cause it's too random. There are more examples like this from other universes: seithr idea remind me of LCL from NGE, CF's Embryo remind me of Compression of Time from Final Fantasy VIII, fiction world another Matrix or FFX and many others. I am thankful that nobody in Arc System Works got an idea to put space travels in the BB. -

Hope we won't pay for this off-topic. Your theory mentioned on previous page was interesting but I have few thoughts: 1) A vessel usually develope own personality like we see in Karuma/Hazama/Terumi case and also independence in specific conditions. Of course you pointed that we are talking about Drives of Sankishin owners so he might be an exception. The other expample it's Saya who was also independent being before Izanami posssessed her -> however her origin it's still a mystery so we don't know if she was made from the beginning as the vessel for Izanami, was born as a human (I doubt) or just has been modified by Relius later. She is still here but dominated. Rachel seems to be on her own and there isn't any signs of Clavis so that it's a point that he sealed his fate after he had given Tsukuyomi Unit. 2) Saya T. case isn't that simple: it doesn't matter which world is it (BEE or BB) she had been living before the humanity had opened the Boundary so she couldn't be a vessel. It's definitely too early: Izanami Hades wasn't probably existed. Master Unit probably didn't have any wielder. The infinite loop of time doesn't change it. I doubt she was living as a ghost within the Boundary before the OPFD gained a soul. And if we take an argument so why Izanami Hades had strange reactions toward Naoto? (Act 2 ending where she was saying that her body isn't react like she want) It's might be our Saya sense, like you said Naoto it's parallel of Ragna so it doesn't need "Saya T". Saya's feelings can be a factor: at this state she won't recognize differents between Naoto and Ragna -> it was said several times that they have similiar souls. They could be somehow "related" if we set that Saya it's a copy of Saya T and Ragna copy of Naoto but I definitely don't like this theory. Saya T was kidnapped but in the BEE world. Hell, even Terumi words about "stolen souls" to Ragna in Continuum Shift won't change it. Still we didn't get any clue about origin of Amaterasu's soul so it's just a guessing based on Inazami's looks. 3) Following this line of thought people who were living in BEE alernate timeline were also in BB but their actual status it's mostly unknown or they are dead. 4) If we will sum all this can we expect a Drive from Hakumen's soul? -

Thanks for an explanation. Internet contains "a few" translations but there are too many resemblances between. Enough for me to see it as a plagiary. I was able to get some chapters but *ehkem* original japanese. Lol someone wrote it in this topic but I have just forgotten. So now my "we haven't know yet" cracked up. So it might be the same way with Valkenhayn and other beings who are outside of the logic. -

I think that we should stay that Izanami is only a Drive of OPFD's soul (Noel) -> she is a "bad" representation of her so we can guess that Noel was suffering much in her original lifetime. I never mixed up Azure and Master Unit cause the first thing it's more like a living sphere which contain souls, memories of these souls and has a power to create/destroy and like we see in some arcade endings it might has own consciousness when the second it's more like a device which give a possibility to managment by gaining power from this sphere and the Boundary. Sorry for a such short explanation. In my opinon Rachel or better the Alucard Clan seem to be more like a protectors of not only the world but also but also the secrets of the Boundary. They have lived way before than any event from the game happened. Probably Rachel doesn't know as much as her father knew. The problem is that except of Rachel, Clavis and Raquel (who seems to be more like an Clavis' desire product) we haven't know yet any other vampires. + They are in the specific Embryo where various worlds seem to be combined so it's possible. Didn't Clavis improve it a little with his own blood? -

BlazGearRegalia In response to your statement that "you don't expect Noel will be similiar to Ragna and Jin but she should much depend on herself" (much more like that): I agree but there might be a little development in CF -> As we see in her Act 3's ending there is some small change in her personality: she is quite opposing toward Terumi (this determination in her voice and eyes) and it seems that she is even ready to fight with him. Unfortunetaly might be the same in Ragna's case. We have some screens from his ending (probably he is going to fight wiht Amane) but still there aren't any summaries, movies, notes, whatever. The "Gate" seems to be important thing for plot so probably all Act 3 endings which have some information about it will be in console version. I was trying to find something with my weak hopeless japanese but nope. Nothing. I am guessing that it's the Es between CE and LM??? I have been playing recently the first game and she was spending some time in the Boundary. Based on what we know to this point it seems that her role in the story is going to be bigger in the story in terms of knowledge (I suppose she won't be only a sub-boss guardian) if we compare it to Naoto. Naoto's all summaries bring that he has life link with Rachel, he is entitled but shouldn't be (of course he shouldn't be in this world too), his pressence it's dangerous for Ragna, he has some traits similiar to Ragna's (Black Beast sign stated by Hakumen), and... most of cast don't "like" him, especially Rachel has a point. At least he was the first who got visions with Es but I doubt that they will ever meet each other (just "foreshadowed" her in-game). Intereseting threads but they was showing him to this point more like a threat than a soution/answer: especially that he is so determinated to find Raquel. I would like to join to this question (probably I won't be able to wait for EU release. The story it's just too interesting.) It would be wonderful if I can help but "Arcade" term it's dead not only in my country but in a whole continent. I am glad that you mention mainly JP and US. -

But you know in a different interview he said that he is a liar so... Of course they often lie about gameplay (for example DLC characters in CP) than in-game story but still it's better to have some distance. It's just a simple marketing for fans to make them stay in "hype mode" nothing more. The truth is that her soul should stay in the Azure. Whoever this girl originally was her lifetime has ended but after all I am going to be still in my statement that she isn't responsible personally for all this mess so if she has got second chance to live than leave her alone. Group of people and other beings who in majority we know are guilty of this disorder. That's why I don't see any reason that Noel should be killed. To this point we got some hints (a very little one) that Izanami can be stopped without Noel's dead. Of course there is another way (or rather dumb idea) that Noel knows about everything and she is just lying and pretending in the whole story cause of her selfishness and the truth will show at the end but this will make her another (but bigger one) Trollzama 2.0 and that would be a very.... stupid. I am starting to think that Saya's soul (if she has of course but Izanami reactions are showing that Saya is still there) is clone or another piece of Noel's soul (or better which OPFD gained. I wrote my thoughts in previous pages) so I would add that not only Saya and her clones but also Noel (and maybe Izanami) should be merge. I don't believe that in term of souls Saya-Noel aren't related. Sad but I hope that we will get Ragna's Act 3 before console release. Speaking of the console we will get all the story before we will play the game (or most of us) itself lol. In speculation who will die I am very afraid that will be our "Queen of Rose" who sacrificed her luxury life. ------------ OMG, my bad. Sorry for mistake. It was hinted but not directly by Relius in Act 2. -

It's time to reply ;o I see that you are admiring Ragna a little. You mean this "enraged state"? It seems that he doesn't control himself in this condition: we see it in CP when he was so oppressed for Noel or when he put his anger on Kokone. However archetype of his nature isn't original thing because there are many protagonists who have starded as an anti-hero cause they have lost their families plus/or have been going toward painful experiences. If there is need to give an example who it's similiar to Ragna in some ways in the world of video games I would say that it's Squall from Final Fantasy VIII or in more hot-tempered way Raziel from Legacy of Kain or generally in pop culture it's Wolverine. Terumi is for example just more expanded Joker with powers (we have another in Final Fantasy saga -> Kefka). I enjoy Noel as much like as Ragna but not only -> Like I had said in my very first post I am attracted to her (not in weeaboo style of course) so I am expecting a nice ending for her too. It's not her directly her fault, I would say that humanity or better group of humans and their desire for power made this chaos what we have. It's very curious for me what she experienced in her original lifetime -> it will give an explanation a little why her soul it's so powerful or at least why it has so strong desire to live. I doubt that OPFD gained this soul by luck or an accident when it had contacted with Azure. it seems that all her memory it's somehow sealed (probably by soul or Master Unit itself). I am afraid if there be a possibility to bring her memories back she will get an another mental crisis. I believe that Master Unit isn't necessary factor for world to survive or isn't so important one. In my opinion the key for futher existence it's Azure. Still some souls have a potential to not change into seith if the world will be back to "destroyed state". I agree with you and Volt that her rejection (?) of Mu was... dumb a little. Lost not only some power but strong ally. They screwed her development. I would like to add that we don't even know if they can travel across the space lol. The only being who was in the universe was Take-Mikazuchi. This game has many great elements from various products like time travel, magic, science fantasy, cyberpunk and many others but at least very good that it doesn't have space travel. I agree with you completely. I wrote in in previous page but I will repeat: not only Terumi's involvement it's the case that he was and still is protecting Noel. He seems to be drive by these resemblence of Saya in Noel. Of course they have a strong attachment to each other but in Ragna case it's easy thing to explain but Noel isn't so obvious (except of Saya(?) memories she developed her own feelings). Probably Terumi had responsibility in this. The worst that the only person that she is caring now it's a Celica. -

Mainly yeah but not only, there are some names and terms from Judaism/Christianity like Sheol Gate (She'ol in Hebrew), restriction 666 (Beast's number), Azrael and others. The Mu date of birth probably wasn't take randomly too. Many people are just worrying that Rag will die. I would like to add something to your statement: Actually the video games' companies don't kill the protagonist in modern games except If the game isn't a horror or another dark fpp so people don't need to worry. The last game I remember where protagonist was killed was Mega Man Zero 4. The times have changed and permanently death of the hero or heroine usually brings not only whines from fans but financial sustain. Even if his soul will be destroyed it doesn't matter -> in the world like BlazBlue there still be a possibility to ressurected him. Personally I think that idea like this will spoil the potential of new BlazBlue (Phase V). In my opinion they should give Ragna retire time after CF. It may looks something like this -> know "the truth" about the world -> save "The Girl" -> save the world -> regain/make family and finally take a position of mentor like Jubei. I have just also noticed that Lambda and Nu are similiar in looks to Es. Slow thinking but I have only been playing first XBlaze game a little. In terms of personality this girl it's a similiar to Rachel. I know that the BB, BE and XB world it's the same universe but I don't like that much this idea to bring them together -> Es and Naoto are exceptions cause their appearance in BB world were explained in their own games or at least we have some guesses but I hope that nobody in Arc System Works get an idea to bring Toya in BB. -

I haven't enough time recently to response... A lot of work and travel... Now I have a lot of reading through many pages. That's not only problem: the second it's why they have so strong attachment for each other (especially between Noel and Ragna). In Rag's case it's easy -> huge Saya's resemblance, love for sister etc. but Noel except of Saya's childhood memories (which can be in reality memories of "The Girl's soul) developed her own (some her quotes in both CS and CP and date issue in CP before they went to cauldron in Ibukido). We have also Jin with his hate for sis and Noel and yandere thing toward Ragna. I would exclude sibling relationship if Noel wouldn't scream "Nii-sama" near end of CP . I am not sure if all three of them or better call their predecessors from past/future were sibling but there was certainly a relationship which "soul" experienced in her lifetime. It seems that only Jin it's probably a human being and Saya and Ragna are artificial created: it wouldn't be surprise cause he probably got a knowledge about events (previous original life of this sibling) from Hades Izanami. I prefer to use "The Girl" or "Soul" instead of "Noel/Original Noel" everywhere because it will be much more confusing. The question it's also if Saya consciousness or her exist it's another piece of "Original Noel" soul or another soul from Boundary. I am more sticking to the first idea. Not really. Thanks to Boundary's environment the soul which OPFD gained (hate this term!) might be from distant past or future -> probably there it's a timeline where the "Original Noel" (remember, I am talking about soul of this girl. She might had another name) was living, had a sibling, lover, close people and died in some tragic conditions. Like we see in the game soul has an ability to keeps memories -> her was enough strong to took OPFD when it had contacted with the Azure, next it's linked with Amaterasu and.... created this mess as parallel of her memory. We know for what soul can be use, we know that soul can be destroyed permanently but we don't know how the souls are created (I doubt that it's also power of The Azure because the number of souls won't be infinite) The only known way for now that soul is created when a new being born (I suppose that's beastkins, vampires etc. also have one, not only humans). However still don't know one thing -> if many souls are smelted in Cauldron can they provide/create a new strong soul by an accident? The second if the artificial beings might have their own (thanks to smelt process of course or another one)? However it seems that strong soul has the ability to cut in pieces or even reincarnation in some ways. In my opinion in Tsubaki case the problem isn't "madness" or her obsession to Jin but that she is so... narrow-minded or a less hard word: blinded in her point of view. Probably whoever will say to her and whatever will happen she won't change: you reminded this Hazama manipulation but there were another events. There are only four people who can influence on her: Makoto, Noel, Jin and probably Kagura too. She isn't stupid of course but stubborn -> after all she was cooperating with Ragna and others in much greater goal but she didn't get even a small thought why people who are important to her support, help, cooperate or even like Ragna. She should think more about affairs which are happening in front of her eyes intead of searching the "ultimate evil who it's response of all". For me it always looks like Lernaean Hydra but in much devilish way. Sad that ancient myth wasn't an inspiration for Mr. Mori cause we get more guesses in Black Beast case. I will also add that Hazanami feel Saya's attachment to Ragna. Like I said before the thing which it's interesting if Saya has her own soul or it's another piece of "Original Noel's soul". I have written so many thoughts but still I am feeling that I haven't expanded them enough! After all I am waiting for Ragna's Act 3 ending. Really Mori probably was playing a lot of j-rpgs. Btw. Good that Mr. Mori or anyone in Arc System Works didn't get an idea to bring Alter Memory world -> it might sounds funny but some events were other than in CT and CS They were small of course for example: Rachel didn't bit Ragna and we get a scene where we see why Ragna left Noel in their adventure. There also it's a screen where we see Ragna's tattoo precisely on his collar (No. 5). -

Interesting idea but I doubt because it's suggesting that for example Terumi might be dead for sure if Hazama will be killed. Also according with this case Mu-12 and Noel should become one being again. After all this Girl's soul it's... so powerful. Split to some pieces which two are probably manifestation of her personality: Noel (good side), Izanami (bad side), took a Prime Field which gathered Azure and works as Unit. I will add that in the Boundary where multiple timelines interacts this soul could be from distant past or future. Anyway it's curious how Embryo it's impacting now to life link thing -> if they are still working under this conditions? The only one which it's sure that life link between Naoto and Rachel. Yes. It seems that she is the guardian. Hope that Amane doesn't mean the Takamagahara System. It's... too obvious??? Still what they will do about his cooperation witch Rachel? -

Big thanks for all your work Zedar90 Nah. I agree that BB's story it's confusing but after all not much from standards which we have in j-rpgs. That not fully explained relation between BB' and BE' worlds remind me a time compression from Final Fantasy VIII -> past, present, future mixed. Unfortunately we didn't see in the game HOW it was working for all heroes. After all Taokaka and other Kakas are genetically Jubei's offspring so Ragna might feel subconsciously a little sympathy for her. Ragna's master it's one of the most important person in his life. I am glad that Jubei finally show himself in Rachel's ending. Now we know that he survived. Probably Ragna's Act 3 ending will provide more hints.
