  1. Wait, what? Sorry if this is a stupid question, but wait, what does this mean?
  2. I had my fingers crossed, and the results were not pleasing... It's just not gonna be the same... But you know, I'm at least happy that it came from the people themselves, so I'm just gonna take this with a grain of salt. Just why is my question... I'll be back.
  3. I went to look at some gameplay footage on Es so I can catch some more of "conciliator"... [cause the trailer wasn't enough] I'm absolutely in love with it! Can't wait for CF to come out so I can listen to it in it's full prime! Kudos to Kikuo for creating a lovely theme for Es!
  4. Let's just all keep our fingers crossed for that ENG Dub. Personally, I'd be devastated if we don't get the ENG Dub. As pointed out, BlazBlue has had ENG Dub from the very beginning, and to not do it for the finale of Ragna's Arc would be doing the game and the fanbase a HUGE disservice. So to speak, I would still play a game/watch an anime, regardless of Dub or Sub, but with a game like BlazBlue, you just can't pull a move like that when your series has came so far and has brought so many people together. As I said at the beginning, let's just all keep our fingers crossed for that ENG Dub! I am intrigued by what Naoto and Es would sound like with an ENG Dub. [Although, I can already imagine both sounding like they're 16-18]
  5. Just listened to all of the REVELATOR vocals. Can I just say that I think Naoki is the greatest vocalist to ever live? Even if the lyrics may not make the most logical sense, it's something about him that make them stick out! I just can't decide which of his vocal covers is my favorite. I hope he sticks around for the next game. He's just too perfect to leave, in my opinion. Anyways, Dizzy's new theme is amazing! Precious cinnamon roll is back and better than ever!
  6. Does the Sheep count the Error 404?
  7. People, PEOPLE! This is getting us absolutely nowhere. And by nowhere, I mean "ABSOLUTELY NOWHERE AT ALL" I think there needs to be a thread that focuses on clearing up character misconceptions so we don't have this type of shit again! But while this is still going on, allow me to settle this ONCE AND FOR ALL. [I'm gonna explain this as best as I can, and I can't guarantee that I'm fit for this, but I just don't like this kind of shit go down as much as the next person] The misconception of Tsubaki's character stems from two big factors: Her story and her dialogue/actions in all of this. So while I don't think that Tsubaki is really as bad as some make her out to be, I can see where they get the misinterpretation from: CHRONOPHANTASMA. I'm gonna focus on the finale of CP since for most of the game she was under mind control. So during the time our heroes were down at the Lynchpin, Tsubaki sees that Noel and Makoto are fighting alongside Ragna. Now of course Tsubaki has a hatred for Ragna since he's a criminal [and a S class criminal, the most dangerous], and she wasn't around to see his personal growth, so of course not trusting him was expected and justified. Now, here's where everything went south: She didn't ask her best friends why they were teaming up with Ragna. Now, I'll justify that with maybe she was just too surprised/shocked to ask then. Okay, now let's fast forward to after Ragna was forced into berserk mode by Izzy and beat the shit out of Noel and Jin. Tsubaki is looking about to head off, when she's stopped by Rachel who explains that Ragna, so should things not go well, will become a Black Beast, so in order for things to end well, Tsubaki will need to use the Izayoi to kill Rachel. Rachel asks what does Tsubaki see in Ragna. We get "Ragna is the evil of the world who must be brought to justice." Now, again, this was expected, and the same thing repeats: No questions were asked. Key word: NO QUESTIONS WERE ASKED. Now, for people that like exploring character personalities, CP tells them that Tsubaki has an exaggerated grudge against Ragna. Alright, fast forward to CF Act 3, where she does fight Ragna. This time, she asks Ragna a question: Are you Jin's brother? Ragna answers yes. Okay, good, Tsubaki, now would you like to ask for an explanation for why Ragna did so many bad things? Nope, she then goes on about how Jin will bring peace and order to the world and whatever, and then that was it. Now combine that with how she treated Jin throughout this cluster fuck of a series, and you got: Tsubaki hates Ragna for a good reason, but is unnecessaringly exaggerating it by not trying to find resolve in it and puts Jin on a pedestal. Now, if we take a look at the Act 3 of Jin, Hakumen, and Izayoi, we can see that Tsubaki isn't as so much as "Jin-niisama" as we think she is, as she protects Noel even after hearing Jin/Hakumen's reasoning for killing her. So this is my final interpretation of Tsubaki Yayoi as a character: She is essentially a good person and wants to do good, and she is an overall good friend and a wonderful heroine. However, she is still somewhat morally blind in the field of justice. She sees Ragna as the most evil person in the world [I'm assuming she didn't witness Izzy using Take-Mikazuchi in an attempt to destroy everything], and she doesn't bother to try to reason with him even when she witnesses her friends helping him and after Rachel confronted her about dealing with things so should Jin fail to kill Ragna. That said, she is not completely blind when it comes to Jin and her idol Hakumen. When things have turned sour and when both were coming after Noel, Tsubaki stands against them, as she believes that Noel shouldn't be killed, and even AFTER she heard their reasons, she still stands against them, and she also helps calm down Noel even when she attempts to kill her from the insanity that was going on in her head. Overall, Tsubaki is not so much as senselessly blind, but more as, she needs to learn to hear both sides of the story. And as quoted from the Altar: "The devil is not as black as he is painted." I hope this at least helps clear things up. As a Tsubaki fan, it also pains me when she's looked at in an exaggerated negative way, but it's important to look at the story from both sides of the coin. If I'm missing anything or you're still confused, you are more than happy to add on to my explanation or, if necessary and I highly recommend, someone start a thread to explain misconceptions on characters. Thank you, and I hope we can all go back to being friends and get back to speculating!
  8. Well, the Power of Order seeks to balance things, and pretty much Jin has been molded into the classic hero type [and by that, I mean, a hero that only does what is right for the world] That being said, I very much agree, it's rather sad that she's become the big target on half of the cast's hit list. We must leave this to Ragna, since back in Act 3, he seems to have a plan to save the world while keeping The Girl alive. The time has come to rebel against destiny with our favorite badass Grim Reaper one last time... *plays Under Heaven Destruction II* I'm pretty sure the final battle will be between Ragna and Jin.
  9. This game started taking mind crack when it hit Continuum Shift. Chronophantasma just made things more interesting! XD But definitely, we can expect CF to have Ragna go out with a S-I-S-I-G-A-M-I! SHISHIGAMI BANG! BANG! As many death flags as she may have above her head, I don't think we need to worry about our good ol motherly vampire leaving us. "That can't be Lacking Lady. Lacking Lady doesn't have any meat buns like Average Lady and Booby Lady, meow!" I'm sorry, I got to crack a joke every once in a while, I'll be out the door in a sec...
  10. Oh. My. Nu. Just look at them all fight like wild animals! Seeing Rachel fall into that thing of roses is making me think she's gonna die- Nevermind, I'll keep my expectation of death low.
  11. "Bedlady"? Nah, I'll go with "Bedgirl". I have a feeling she'll have something of her own to bring to the table. Still kinda salty that Bedman didn't make it to the end. I think he had some potential going for him. Oh well. Meanwhile, I still can't get over how awesome Robo-Ky was in the story! Seriously, I think he's become one of my top favorite characters after his final scene. I'm also kinda curious about Asuka's design. Something about him strikes me funny. And I-no's looking to scheme again.
  12. We're still speculating? How curious! Wait, no it isn't... Good question! I had the crazy thought that if it's just her body that the Azure might be controlling it in some way, although giving her a new Embryo seems like the more probable route. Forgive me if I'm mixing things up, but if the Black Beast were to inherit Ragna and Nu's souls, wouldn't it lead to a conflict in itself where the two would clash because they have opposing wills, and if the same case were to apply to when Ragna became one on his own, wouldn't he have been able to will the Black Beast to at least stop? And wait, how can it use military tactics!? No wait, let me guess: it can gain the experience of those it consumes? Honestly, it feels like whatever Jin is trying to do, it's gonna screw him out of his own game. If there was a way for the world to exist without observation, wouldn't it have been already presented in some way shape or form? But I won't really delve into that deeply, cause my mind is already focused on what plan does Ragna have up his sleeve and how is Hazama gonna become a real boy, and given this game is all about shoving a gigantic nail up destiny's ass, I shall quote: "When there's a will, there's a way."
  13. Just listened to Safe Intoxication. I don't know what to think of it. Either the lyrics feel out of place, or I'm just not use to it yet. Oh yeah, dare I ask, how many vocals are there from REVELATOR?
  14. MADU MADU MADU MADU MADU MADU MADU MADU MADU MADU MADU MADU MADU MADU MADU MADU MADU MADU MADU MADU MADU MADU!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [Couldn't resist XD] Some characters get that genius deducing moment in critical times lol
  15. I can imagine Es' BBCF theme following some sort of feeling of a light, yet serious tone. Either that, or they'll give her something with a similar tone to BBCF's next stage theme. [Which, speaking of that next stage theme, I'm loving it so much! Sounds pretty tragic.]
  16. I came expecting a GVG styled "Freesia", "Safe Intoxication", or "Tsuki no Shihai", got a rearrangement of "Wanna Be Crazy". Love it! Although the one thing that caught me off guard was when your voice came in, and as far as I remember, the only other time you did your voice like that was your arrangement of "Ride the Fire!" Bravo, GVG, bravo!
  17. I have, but this to say: Noel VS Mu VS Nu VS Lambda VS Izanami It's a battle of the Sayaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!! Also, sounds like Saya's trying to be like CT/CS Jin, and that's the last thing we need. *insert overused Nii-saaaaaaaaaaaaaaan joke* But, who knows, what with the great and powerful Mori.
  18. And as of now, I am now officially hooked on "Tsuki no Shihai", "Sky Should Be High", AND "The Tuner". [As well as BB's "Jaeger", "Walpurgisnact", "Black Onslaught II", and still my favorite VS theme since CP, "Imperial Code II"] I wonder what Es' theme will be like... [given I'm not too familiar with the XBlaze series]
  19. Listening to "The Tuner". It's quite an interesting theme for a tech lady controlling a giant android. I still prefer "Tsuki no Shihai", but that'll probably be until I hear the other new vocals in -REVELATOR- Speaking of new themes from ASW, did anyone ever hear the Nine/Kokonoe/Celica VS theme? It's fitting for Nine VS Kokopuffs, but Celica, not so much.
  20. "This world is nothing but lies!!!" I actually had similar thoughts on the matter. It's plausible, but for now, we should hold out until CF gets released!
  21. Well look at it like this: At first Ragna wanted revenge against Terumi, but soon realized that Terumi wasn't worth shit, and shifted to focusing on saving Saya, but then he learns of the Master Unit's role in all of this, realizes that before he can save Saya, he has to protect OPFD from everyone who are crazy in the head with the "Entitled" bullshit. First comes saving everyone from destroying and recreating the world, then save Saya. Pretty much throughout the series, his goal was to find and rescue Saya, but there was always some world-ending thing that he had to deal with: CT - Nu-13, CS - Mu-12, CP - Take-Mikazuchi [and Nu-13 again XD] Now in CF, it's Ragna the Bloodedge VS The World, LOL
  22. Yes, I'm happy... Even though they re-used Communication for Ky VS Sin, I didn't think they would bring the rest of Overtu- wait, where's Izuna's theme? I'm sad now, they leave out the theme of that hilarious fox samurai... ;~; On another note, hey, The Original, The Midnight Carnival, Kage Matsuri, Haven't You Got Eyes in Your Head, Still in the Dark, Noontide, Suck a Sage, and Awe of She! Aweso- Wait, no Get Down to Business? Sad again... At least I have the REVELATOR vocals to look forward to! [Dammit, I wanna sing Sky Should Be High, Safe Intoxication, Fressia, and Tsuki no Shihai so bad now]
  23. Guilty Gear Xrd's Episode Mode kinda acts like Central Fiction's Act 3, where most of the characters have their own unique boss fight [save for Sol, Sin, and Ramlethal who fight Jack-O the end] The Xrd story mode is very much like CP-CF's combined narrative.
  24. Predictable, yes, however, it's not like the story itself provides any alternative. From the get go, the story does focus on our Raggy Boy, however, CF is to be the final game for him as the focus, and in CP's ending, Rachel tells Tsubaki that he must be killed as he will become a Black Beast if he dies a natural death, and even if he didn't have the Black Beast, there's still the fact that he's the most dangerous criminal in the world, and he came to accept that fact. I'm pretty sure the only sentence they will give him is an execution. Believe me, after all I've seen, I'm pretty convinced that Ragna is the type of character that was doomed to die from the start, and as unfair as I find it that he's always getting the short end of the stick, again, the story doesn't really provide any alternative, so until the console version gets released, I'm sticking to this. If you're talking about the characters, a little hard to tell. Ragna loves Jin to an extent, however, doesn't seem to really care much, while Jin, for the majority of the story, is obsessed with killing Ragna and his tone of voice in CF makes him sound like he has no remorse. Noel [if she lives to see it] will [DEFINITELY] cry if Ragna loses and Nu will either slaughter Jin, kill herself to join Ragna, or simply cry as well. Anyone else, I'm unsure. In terms of us fans, oh DEFINITELY. Hold the phone, that cube is a sword!? Yup, it makes sense what he's trying to do now... You and me both. I'm crossing my fingers for an extra story for Terumi's origins or a spin-off if they need to go that far. But for now, we can only wait.
