  1. Is that specifically what they said? Because if so, we just might be getting something more than just RWBY english voices, otherwise I don't think they would attract attention to it like that. But since they also refused to confirm that the entire game will be dubbed, I can't help but think about a possibility of a "partial dub" of sorts. That would probably mean: A) Everyone but the UNIEL crowd having english voices, since UNIEL games were never dubbed. and/or B) Only in-battle voices are dubbed, but the story mode is left in Japanese, which would cost ASW a lot less time and money. Kinda cheap, but honestly at this point I'd be okay with it, because it would at least mitigate the biggest crime of a sub-only version - not translating in-game interactions at all.
  2. So, what do we have here? Half the cast as a DLC, apparently no dub - and here I was lowkey hoping that since there's less story... Sigh. But what upsets me the most is that this list all but confirms we're only getting the titular characters from RWBY because of that 1-character DLC. Shame, really.
  3. Couldn't help but feel that Azrael would be kinda dissapointed, seeing how 80% of the cast from the other 3 universes are likely to be just kids with superpowers Let's hope so, because I'm starting to worry our four main heroines is all we'll get.
  4. Hey, that's amazing! Not only Hazama is confirmed (was worried they'd only include Terumi instead), but a PC release is announced too? It's like Christmas morning! I was afraid there might be problems with BBTAG arriving to PC because of Atlus, so it's a very pleasant surprise.
  5. You know, I'm actually more intrigued by this than I thought I'd be. Seeing how just about every spin-off was still somehow related to the plot of the main series, I'm curious to know what relevant info we might get from this one.
  6. I don't know. The whole thing about Ragna allegedly killing people always was pretty vague, but c'mon, the dude's moniker is literally Grim Reaper/God of Death! It's not a name you'd earn with zero bodycount. Honestly, I always thought that the story's attitude towards Ragna's past crimes is a bit of a cop-out. "Look, our grim and angry anti-hero never really killed anyone! It's okay to root for him, kids!"
  7. Huh, I knew about the Kazuma doll, but never heard it's Hazama-specific. You know, at this point there are so many little details connecting Hazama and Kazuma on some foreshadowing-like level, I think I'm gonna be disappointed if they are not revealed to be the same guy (or otherwise connected) in the end. Always thought that particular plot-twist would be just... too anime for them not to use it.
  8. Once again, thank you! This is exactly what I needed, and I'm sure a lot of others will find it useful too. Now excuse me, I have a ton of text to read.
  9. I know, right? I was actually almost sure in his last moments he'd be panicking, as he was often prone to do when his plans went south, but what do you know, he literally got the last laugh.
  10. Oh, I know that, thanks, was jus referencing that image in the other thread actually. That's why I said I hope there will be something more.
  11. So apparently CF ends on this image, right?
  12. Gosh! Finally I am at my PC so I can express my thoughts over all those plot twists. Let's see...
  13. Also, hate to be that guy, but we probably shoudn't talk about any announcements in this thread. Whatever it is, I doubt it has anything to do with CF arcade plot.
  14. Holy cow, that's awesome! I've wanted to play that game for ages but the lack of translation or means to buy it always stopped me. Thanks for the heads-up.
  15. Wow, and here I thought it'd be something like a short, brief summary, but this is actually really impressive! Great work, thanks, relic.nt! I needed that review on all the major reveals from CF arcade. Speaking of CF arcade though, it says in your guide that "Hazama wishes to create a masterpiece". If I'm not mistaken, Hazama's wish was not actually revealed yet, and the one who compared his wish to a masterpiece was Nine. Considering the state Nine was at that moment, I doubt she meant it literally.
  16. If that is literally what he says - just "it" without specifying, I'd assume he's talking about, er, Hazama's body. Like "You wouldn't be able to use that body properly anyway. Stop resisting and let me drive already!"
  17. Well, Dark Susano'o Terumi is, somewhat unexpectedly, very beast-like. Looks like the final boss material to me.
  18. So, according to this tumblr post by Zedar (at least I assume it's Zedar, sorry, if I'm mistaken), Naoto's arcade winquote against Terumi is as follows: I thought it was established, that our main antagonist is not really associated with the clan in question, and that "Yuuki Terumi" isn't even his actual name. But according to Naoto here not only he is associated with the clan, apparently he is just so Terumi, you can outright feel it. Now I'm confused.
  19. Honestly, I can't see how this is any different from Terumi suddenly being able to out-observe Time Killer, which you dismissed as a cheap handwave earlier. But hey, I am not nitpicking, if only because it's likely he actually is badass enough to do it :D
  20. I think the main thing that makes Azrael sort of uninteresting is not really his motivation, but rather the fact that he only was around for one game as of now. I mean, look, Terumi for example is no Hamlet either: the guy has very little backstory and his entire characterization can be summed up as "evil psychopath". But he has a crucial role in the plot and three games to grow on us. Azrael just shows up in the middle of CP and has too little screentime to establish anything other than "Well, he's really strong and really likes to fight". He's badass, that's for sure, but that alone is not enough to make him interesting to everyone.
  21. An ambiguously evil hipster, who got tired of being a side character and so came up with his own hidden agenda, obviously.
  22. May I ask why those particular victory quotes made you feel this way? There's nothing ominous in the Es one, and Nine's one is the same typical "No one will interfere with my masterplan" stuff she's been saying since act 1. With that said, yeah, I too think there will be some casualties. Ragna, Terumi and/or Rachel seem like more obvious candidates to me though, not Nine.
  23. Now that you mention it, he is surprisingly enthusiastic about our progress so far. Not sure if that means the petition is really doing well or if he's just trying to be encouraging.
  24. Huh? One of my posts disappeared from this thread. Was it a glitch, or did I break some rule so it was deleted?
