  1. Ill post up avaliability once I start work tomorrow. The weekends I know I'm free to play on. I'll teach anyone who wants to learn Melty. Marus is right about what you need to get started, you can actually get pretty far as with just that if you have really good movement.

  10. 214d and 623d induce ground slide. It seems that if you already freezed someone in a combo, you can only freeze them again if you use a forcebreak. Dunno how this works with already frozen opponents.

A description of the system as of the first location test incase anyone missed it. http://www.akiba-ch.com/?p=356 This game is played with 4 buttons. Weak, Middle, Strong, and a reflect guard button. It has the typical fighting game systems such as dash (forward x 2), back step(back x 2), grab (weak+middle + direction), side step(middle + strong), high jump (down, up), guard cancel (back + middle + strong, during guard), and guard advance(forward + weak + middle) The reflect guard lets you attack instantly after delfecting your opponent’s attack if timed right. But your opponent can also Reflect counter by timing another attack. I haven’t seen anyone use this effectively yet. The most intersting system of Fate/UC must be the Mana Burst and Holy Grail System. The Mana Burst is kind of like Melty Blood’s Heat mode where you blow away your enemy and you’ll become stronger and heal while you use up your mana guage, which is the guage to use your special moves. There’s an icon of an holy grail between the player’s life bars and it fills up while the character’s damage racks up. Once it’s filled, the characters are able to execute their devastation moves in mana burst mode. However! The privilege of being able to use the move switches between the players (probably randomly) and the battle suddenly becomes risky. The holy grail devastation moves can only be used once per character per match. The life bar of the characters are two bars long, as one is beneath the second one. The mana bar fills up pretty quickly as you attack more aggressively. It is a 3 round game where all the bars restart from zero each round.
