  1. I found that one very helpful. I've been considering trying out Potemkin, and that video is a good resource. Did you make it, or just find it? Now if only there was one of those for Eddie...

    Eddie Q&A's

I've been attempting to practice Eddie's unblockable with the Drill FB and overheard Shadow Attack. The thing is, they always seem to hit with staggered timing. The drill starts, and a few hits later, the ball from the shadow hits. It seems like someone could block it if they knew what they were doing, and the only reason they haven't yet is they weren't fast enouh to notice the gap. When I watch tournament videos, it seems like people are able to fill that gap, but I'm not sure how. The way I'm doing it is knockding them down with 2D or a drill, summoning the shadow with H so it doesn't do anything funky, and then making the motion 22D, so the drill comes out and the shadow simultaneously spits its ball. The problem is that the ball has a little distance to travel, while the drill comes out immediately. How do I fix this? Do I need to get the shadow closer so the ball has no distance to travel. Do I need to do something different with D?
  3. I also would love it if something were posted in this thread. For being such a low-tier character, Anji seems to give me a pretty rough time. I face-palmed when I looked at the Tier Info thread and found a person who listed one of Anji's pros as "Does pretty well against Eddie." What strategies should I be aiming for when playing aginst him? What do I do when I find myself in the corner, with a butterfly over my head and his high/low mixups being thrown at me? What is the best way to break out of this?
  4. Wow. After reading this thread through from start to finish, I'd like to thank Blade for providing a light in the dark. I only wish this thread could be reorganized to have your posts at the beginning. In case newbies don't feel like reading through the 14 pages, here's the info you want, as originally posted by Blade. In a nutshell, leave your console on, unpaused, in training mode. Do this for 48-72 hours, and everything should be unlocked.
