Hi new New England! Since Guilty Madness is only taking place on Saturday, have there yet been whisperings of post-tournament plans on Sunday? I am just wondering this because I am 4+ hours out and would like to capitalize on my time near other people that play fighting games.

Good games to everyone that I played, especially that of the New England room. I need to play more casuals at these things :/ Saturday: sucked. Probably part of the reason I didn't get many casuals vs. people I didn't know in GG. Nuclear Cheese: Awesome games, and congrats in Melty! Good games to everyone, it was an enjoyable time altogether and a decent turnout, though it makes me sad that participation in GG is on the decline. Thanks to all who I was fortunate enough to fight and I will hopefully fight you again armed with the great knowledge I acquired yesterday.

Yeah, I played around with EFZ and took a liking to Shiori and the squirrel with Heavenly Potemkin Buster; it's a strange and scary game, but fun, I'd like to try it with real people sometime. Thanks for the tip but unfortunately as long as I am working my hours restrict me from any other travel on Fridays, so my best bet is any weekend event and/or gathering.

There's still no one else in Vermont I need to get myself over where there are actual people, the only other person in VT that played well moved to FL . Also, Nuclear Cheese must tremble at the tiger knee snowmen.

It's fun going through with EX A.B.A because she has the health regain force break, so your stat building becomes completely different. I put all my stuff into tension and defence in the first 500 levels so i could spam danzai and health. :D

Has anyone noticed that if you mettakiri against a medium/light character in the corner you can catch them with c.S > 2S > B&B? The timing's pretty awful and I've only gotten it to work a few times.

Good point, but that was the only problem I could really address; the other main reason is that EXs aren't on arcade machines, something none of us have power over.

Is there a good chance of the EX characters having a similar range of balance as the normal characters, enough that they might function as their own separate fighting force within themselves? Or are there a few EXs that are way more broken than the rest and would make it unplayable? Discuss. And don't automatically murder this thread because it has to do with EXs; we don't have enough data to prove that EXs are as unbalanced as they're made out to be because nobody uses them. The purpose of this thread is to find out if, in fact, EXs are so unbalanced that they are unusable, or if there is enough evidence to prove that EXs can be balanced enough to be playable. This is not seeing how EXs stack up against regular characters. Let's enjoy a great showtime!
