Ah, thanks. Yeah, I wanted to try getting good at burst baiting, I never do it, so I decided to try it there since I knew he'd burst. But I ended up being too far away. Burst baiting is harder with Hakumen than others since you don't want to rapid and his moves are so slow usually... so I'm not as sure when they'll burst; either they'll burst the instant they get hit, not letting you do anything, or they won't burst at all since most of the combo damage comes in only a few hits that are likely to have already occurred so it would be a waste at that point. I usually DO do throw > gurren > 2C but it was a bit laggy so I wasn't confident that I would land it and might accidentally knock him out of the corner instead. So I just went for 3C. However if I had 2 stars I would've done throw > renka for sure. Good idea about using IB during the whole C string.
