  1. This is how the stick practice is goin http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8A4CoKiAsc

  2. Nigguh you never fail with the funny pictures.

  3. Thanks for the <3. My page was getting kinda lonely. And yeah, mad hype for ACT XII!

  4. Thanks, and nope I didn't see it. I wouldn't expect anything else from Ten though. He's definitely my favorite I-no player. Instead of flashy combos, he plays very smart.
  5. Hey Buckles, can you post up some Ten vids... pwease? I remember you saying that you have pretty much every I-no player saved on your computer.
  6. Ok, now this all makes sense. I didn't button map my FRCs! Wow, so basically I've been creating more work for myself for absolutely no reason. I think I'm going to just seat myself in the corner. Also, thanks Feri. I'm glad that we have reps for the Pad. Proves that you don't have to have a stick to be nasty in this game.
  7. I also have trouble with the CL airdash at times. Feri, do you use the D-Pad? How are you doing with the CL FRC airdashes?
  8. I don't unfortunately, but hopefully I'll have some vids up for critiquing at the next tourney that I'm going to. Thanks for the advice. Maybe we can have a mirror sometime, NY isn't too far from CT. Plus, it'd be nice to get tips/advice from another I-no
  9. Hmmm, I understand. However, Potemkin can still definitely fuck up I-no given the chance. His pros list might be two short of hers, but granted its not like he doesn't stand a good chance against her. I'm not trying to counteract what you say, Mynus. I'm just trying to understand why I'm getting my ass handed to me by Potemkins. Also, about Koichi...honestly, I don't know if it'd be fair to say that just because he has an easier time around a matchup that the rest of us automatically do. I mean, he beasts EVERYONE regardless of how bad the matchup is considered. Plus, I can't do 90% of the insane shit he does, so him raping a Potemkin is not the way I would (or most people would). Here's a match with Koogy against Raekwon (if you don't mind, I saw this in the Slayer video thread). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnyYnUW8GMw
  10. Potemkin - 6/4 (good match for ino since she can completely control his movement.) I just noticed this. I'm just curious how this is in her advantage. IMO, I think that this match is like a 5.5-4.5 Potemkin advantage. I-no's mobility I guess can be considered a pro for her in this, but it's not like Potemkin is lacking tools to shut her shit down (Potemkin Buster). I thought that his only bad matchups were against characters like Testament, Eddie, Bridget, Dizzy.
  11. If you're going to ACT V, we can have a few rounds with my I-no. She's not on the same level of Chaz (yet) but I'd love some Faust experience Also, what is AJ Honnou?

    [AC] Johnny vs I-No

I don't necessarily want to throw around numbers, but I want see what tools Johnny has that are, in your opinions, effective. I like to look at matchups from both angles to fully understand them. Plus, when I play with a friend of mine, sometimes I'm unsure of what I should be doing. I don't think there are that many videos on youtube with this matchup. 4r5, do you have any by chance? I went through your youtube playlist and I don't think that I saw any (correct me if im wrong )
  13. One huge problem with coming to a conclusion about a matchup ratio is that not every single player of a specific character plays exactly the same. Also, the skill levels of said players are in question as well. I respect everyone's opinion here most definitely, but each evaluation is VERY subjective to each I-no player. I *personally* find Sol to be a huge pain in the ass to fight. Maybe it's just that the Sol player that I play has a different style, or is on a different skill level than others. If you put a good I-no versus a crappy Testament, you can pretty much guess who's most likely going to come out the winner. However, I think we should look at the tools each character posesses that MIGHT sway the matchup into the other character's favor. But again, the ability of the other person to use these tools effectively is also

    [AC] Johnny vs I-No

I'm not a Johnny player, (I-no, actually) and I was wondering what this matchup was like from this side of fence. I play a good Johnny player on a steady basis, and I feel like this matchup is even, if not close to being even. What are you guys' thoughts?
  15. Yeah, I fight against a good Johnny player regulary as well, and he definitely has just as much trouble fighting my I-no as I do his Johnny. Johnny doesn't have any matchups that are severly in his favor at all, in fact, most of his matchups are severly not in his favor. A GOOD Testament isn't easy to fight, he has so many tools to keep I-no out. Traps, webs, EXE beasts...I don't understand how this would be an easy fight unless the Testament player was really scrubby. Even on paper it looks like a really nasty fight.
  16. Whats EXTREMELY ironic about this list is that all of her strong matchups are against the characters who, IMO, give I-no the most problems. Potemkin vs I-no is definitely in his favor, remember he has Potemkin Buster. Testament is definitely not in her favor either because he controls a ton of space. Johnny is more difficult than the aforementioned?! Maybe you're playing against an AMAZING Johnny, and really scrubby Potemkins, Testaments, and Eddies. I don't mean to come off as an ass by the way, I just disagree that's all I do agree with Axl and Baiken, though. A lot of those characters I don't have a lot of experience against, so I don't think I'm in a good position to comment on them.
  17. Eh, 6-4? I agree with Whyte, A.B.A isn't that easy of a fight at all. Matter of fact, does I-no even have any 6-4 matchups in her favor?
  18. Well said. That's basically the I-no vs Baiken fight; defense, poke, defense, score a 6P counter hit and knock down as much of her life bar as possible. Rinse, repeat. Whyte, I agree that at some point you have to be on the offense, but I notice in a lot of vids that many I-no players become impatient and focus more on their offense than defense throughout a match *sigh*. You have to be patient to win this. Also, do you guys agree that this matchup is a 6-4 (in Baiken's favor)?
  19. Once you finally are able to hit her :P. Also, to add to the 6HS piece, I think that it's best used from a distance. Executing it right next to Baiken=free counter for her. This is just a frustrating fight, but I train with a solid Baiken everyday so I've learned what works/doesn't work from constantly losing er...playing.
  20. This matchup is a pain for most characters. Use HCL VERY sparingly since it goes right over her. *You're basically going to be on the defensive waiting for an opening.* j.P is great for this matchup as an anti air. Not sure what the exact name of this move is (tatami?), but you can bait "the plank" by hover dashing in, faultless defense braking, and punishing her. Be careful when pressuring and using the note in conjunction. I notice that a smart Baiken will block the note, wait for your j.K/j.S/j.HS, and counter it. When you're in the corner, faultless defense to push her away. Learn how to FD brake for baiting purposes. Patience is key!
  21. Mynus, you make it sound so easy This is one of my most difficult matchups with her, and today I lost to an OK Axl who just kept throwing out random pokes *sigh* Thanks for the tips Digital Watches, I didn't think I'd face an Axl player today considering you guys are few in number around here.
  22. The video is definitely an inspiration to pad I-no players, good shit.
  23. Damn, I bet even "day 1 I-nos" play better than that. Seeing that vid makes me feel better about my I-no, though. Saying he's a scrub would probably be giving him too much credit.
  24. Hmmm...I think that I'm not doing the correct inputs. I saw this in the general conventions thread, but I'm a little confused about what buttons I should press... To perform the FDC you must dash across towards the opponent, jump then hit 2K, hold both, and very quickly after hit another button So...it's like, IAD, 2k, than you quickly faultless defense out of the 2k?
  25. Might be a really noobish question on my part, but I'm having trouble FDCing. How do I know that I'm doing it correctly?
