There really is no point to what they're trying to do, since this series already has a set image as intended by the developers. The competitive community is trying to make people see that there's more to the game than just sex appeal, but banning costumes is not the way. That's just silly. Unless those costumes mess up the characters' hitboxes/hurtboxes, there's nothing wrong with them, and no one should care.

Their attempt at "changing DOA's image" is futile. Boobs are the primary reason people even give a shit about this series. Banning all the good costumes is just going to ensure that no one will watch their tournaments ever again.

Just listened to the Hard Corps Uprising OST released last week. It's at a higher quality than what's in the game and the theme for Stage 5 is different. It fades out instead of playing the full song, probably because the 2nd half of the song is the exact same as the first half, but with an abrupt cutoff in the middle.

It was said somewhere that the machine was set to Easy difficulty. It's not known whether this is true for all pre-launch cabinets or only some. It's also not known if Easy difficulty lowers the amount of fights in Arcade Mode.

Last Round update is now live for PS3/360 DOA5 Ultimate. All stats and titles reset for online, and you can unlock DOA1 music and Dynasty Warriors remixes by beating Arcade Mode. Raidou and Honoka need to be purchased, however.

Apparently there is DOA1 music in Last Round.

I'm not playing this game seriously until I get a stick for the Xbone. Can't stand the default pad. Also, Omen is out, and he's fun as hell. IAD makes for some great mixup potential, especially if you make your opponent think you're going for a crossup, then airdash backwards. Oh and his full theme is godlike.
