  1. hey, so i read around the forums and i'm still curous about baikens baku counteres. i know after you tension counter you can hit P- seal away their jump/dash for a peroid of time K- all hits act as counter hits for a peroid of time S- allows one unblockable hit so i got that much down but i'm curious on the follow up, when they refer to the 5 differnt follow ups you can do to seal away a button so they can't use, does that mean you have to follow up with a actual contact hit(if this is the case is it ok if they block it) or is it just a input of certain button after the tension counter(P,K,S) and how long does this sealing away a button last. thanks
  2. yea AC. thanks alot, i'll give a try on that, on another note, quick question agian. is there any trick for landing her basic combo i do 2K,5S,2D,mat and i jump for the S,D or P,S,D. It seems like whatever one i do people are able to tech out of it right before i hit them. Just curious if i have to frc the mat for this combo to connect or if theres some trick i'm not doing maybe superjump?,. thanks(sorry for the nub question.)haha
  3. -how do you jump cancel 2times, thought you can only air jump one time. yea, i'm having trouble getting the combo down, i saw in it a match video also. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-10nMmhG9s at 6:44 5D -> homing jump -> j.S-H -> [8] j.S-D -> S-D ->[ad]-> S-D i can get the 5D -> homing jump, S, HS, jump, S, D (and here i get the recoil from the dust and fly backwards) so i can't do another S,D and connect to {AD} S,D for the final part. in the video clip,. the D done at the highest point of the jump where baiken starts falling - she donest get a recoil from the dust. ?hows that work
  4. i've been digging around these forums and found alot of stuff but i can't seem to find how to do dust combos. I know eveyrone just lists it out and i try to do it but it seems like i can't get it to connect. So my question is how are people landing a D at the peak of the dust combo and not get shot backwards from the recoil. They seem to be able to keep falling in the same direction as a normal jump and would connect more s,d into dash s,d after they fall, any help plz? and can someone just quicky restate what a basic universial dust combo would be for most characters. and a quick question about tension counters. i know what each one does but along with the sealing away dash or not being able to block and counter hit , if i'm reading right does it say i can seal away a button of the other player as well? do i get to choose which button? or is it the tension counter you follow up with after.
  5. another quick question, when doing jam's wall stick loop, ideal position is about 1 inch away from the wall or right up on the wall?
  6. yea sorry if it sounded like one of "those questions" but my real intent of the question was the difference in timing not execution, unless that question was already answered and i didnt read it anywhere. From what i see the only explanation is that people arn't doing it fast enough or correctly,. my real intent of this question was if the timing and distance of where the hit contacts between the the 2d into the 236S~K would make a character bounce higher or lower to connect the charged 236k. also if the bounce will be affected if the 2d was done really deep or at the tip of the foot.
  7. hey so im new around here i have a quick question if anyone can help me. im trying to do the 2D(sweep), 236S~K(slide) and into 236K(flying kick - the charged card version) my question: is there a certain distance or timing in between the "2D into the 236S~K to 236K(charged card)" to make it all connect? I'm having trouble being consistent at getting them to pop up high enough after the 236S~K to connect the 236K(charged card)......or is it that its different with each character? i can only get it once in a while. thanks ahead of time. Also one more quick question, whats a nice meaty hit that cant be thrown out of when you attack them on a wake up for a chip/pressure combo. I've been trying 5H but i get thrown out quite alot so i'm trying to change to Forward 5H. is that right?
