I play every fighting game. My mentality towards them is just use ONE Character. That way i can concentrate on winning with them rather than worrying about who to use. BB - Tsubaki GG - Anji (not a good one) Tekken - Paul SSFIV - Vega (sad but true) SCIV - Yoshimitsu MvC2 - Megaman/Rogue/Ken ---- I'll be making an appearance on Friday to congratulate our NEC Heroes. I like hearing stories about trips. Sad that I was not able to come to this one. I'm more interested in how organized the tournament was so that I can bitch about it. I'm hearing BB restarting, and blackouts. NeoRussell

If it makes you feel any better, me and hermes placed 9th and 7th last year. The highest Toronto placed in NEC this year is top 4 in singles.So it is indeed a step up. I wonder what happened in the Teams? Safe return for them since it's snowing like a mother. NeoRussell

T12 will be named something else. Maybe something that relates games or atleast something that sounds cool. Regarding the tourny on the 18th, why no singles? I wouldn't mind participating in Singles. I feel that certain teams are just too powerful to even try to take on. Sure I can beat certain top players on a good day but all 3 is just umpossible NeoRussell

Don't they help though. I made a mistake in saying they are the educators but isn't that the point they are assistants in the first place. 3000+ teaching assistants, contract faculty and graduate assistants walked off and the university did nothing for a few month. The argument is how York University allowed such a thing to happen for such a long time before the government had to step in for them. NeoRussell

Ummm... It does. Having educators who go on strike cause they are not happy, wouldn't it reflect on how they teach as well. A university who doesn't think its important enough to take action until 3-4 weeks after is even worse. NeoRussell

Hermes: It looks like I won't be attending NEC. It's just the fact that last year Tekken was such a bust. Being in the same hotel and knowing how it will go down, is turning me off completely. I just don't want to be feeling like it was a waste. I sure hope they have the other tournament run properly. Right now, it looks like it's being catered to SSFIV and Tekken. NeoRussell
