  1. Didn't get a chance to stop by the Anime games at ECT, but I wanted to give you props for keeping things running on time. You guys were getting compliments all around.
  2. I want to graduate, get a job and secure a future something of the other. All so I can get back to pushing buttons. Fuck senior year.
  3. Updated some game info and prize info. I know a lot of people have been asking for AH3, BB, or GG. The reason why they aren't on here is cause we ran them last year and had low attendance for them. However, if there are enough people that want them, bring them to the event as we are totally down for running more tourneys. PM if you plan to bring a copy and friends that would def play.
  4. Hey, if enough people want AH, I'll put it in and run a tourney for it. I just want to avoid a scenario where ppl wanted GG last year, and then NO ONE showed up.
  5. Ran GG last year = No one showed up. Nixed. Don't have Arcana Heart but if enough people show interest and come with setups, things can happen.

DUAL CONSOLES SUDAKARE will run Super Street Fighter IV and Marvel vs Capcom 3 on BOTH Xbox 360 and PS3 as long as participants are willing to share sticks and controllers with one another. We had a lot of people show up late and asking to be thrown into the bracket last year. I will not be doing that this year so please arrive on time for signups! Also once the tournament starts you are responsible for knowing when your next match will come up. If you have to go for a food or bathroom break, then notify the judge at your station. The judge should be able to tell you when your next game will be and how long you have before you’re up. I take pride in starting my tournaments ON TIME. Be ready to play at the above mentioned start times. If a judge calls your match three times and you don't show, you will be DQ'd. No horseplay or anything like that. 7. I can't wait to graduate. The second I get a job and my own place, I'm throwing a tournament/party/night of complete debauchery
  8. I'm in the same position as DoomieJ. Broke as fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. Sadlife
  9. Heading to CTF today. All this technika talk has me hot and bothered.
  10. I just noticed someone put (bad slayer) next to my name on the OP list. Ass.
  11. Yo guys, Check out the OP for updated rules and new. The venue fee has been dropped from the event. HOWEVER, we are still accepting setups! We are primarily looking for these items: PS3's Tekken 6 and MvC2, SfIV for PS3 (and Xbox, but we may be covered for that already. My goal tomorrow is to have a multi-console tourney. However this will not be possible unless some of you guys can help out. If you have any of these items, PM me so we can work something out (I might be able to drop an entrance fee for those who lend). Thanks for any help and I hope to see some of you guys tomorrow!
  12. Hey guys, Having a tourney over in Jersey on the 17th (Sudakare @ TCNJ). Would be cool if some of you could make it out. http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?p=599891#post599891
  13. If you can get a train to Trenton Transit Center, you can take the 601 bus right to the student center.
  14. So I was asked by a friend to add Super Smash Melee to the list of games saying he can get a bunch of setups and such. But if I'm gonna add that game in, then I might as well add BB in as well. I'll work it out and let you know by the end of next week. I'm gonna need a drink after this haha.
  15. Someone has to be. Going for the 3rd place sweep.
  16. Date has been changed to the 17th. Gives you more time to practice. JYA NAI
  17. I'm guessing you guys are talking about Easter? -_- I'm working on it. If the date changes it's looking like it'll be at a latter time (i.e further into April).
  18. Wouldn't hurt to have, I can probably pull a TV for it. Shit's gonna be hype.
  19. Gonna have to come to find out.

However, you still cannot string multiple button inputs to one button (no PPP or KKK to LT or R2 for instance) unless otherwise specified (Setting Burst or RC to one button for GG is a-ok). This is a B.Y.O.C (Bring your own controller) event. TCNJ or any of the Sudakare staff is NOT responsible for any damaged or lost property and will not be supplying controllers! Pausing during mid-game will result in a DQ!!!! (NEW) Also, if you bring setups, we are not responsible in the event of stolen or defective property. Format: Regular bracket: Best 2 out of 3 games Semi's and Finals: Best 3 out of 5 games (NEW) SPECIFIC GAME RULES Guilty Gear Accent Core No ex, gold, shadow, or any other alternate characters allowed. Button mapping for RC, Burst etc allowed. Winner keeps the same character and the losers can change characters. Matches: 3 rounds each. Best of 3 matches advances, double elim Tekken 6 Xbox 360 & PS3 (More info below) Matches: 3 rounds each. Best of 3 matches advances, double elim Default Damage Default Time Buttom Mapping Allowed Super Smash Bros Brawl Best of 3 matches. Double elim 3 stock, 7 minute time limit No custom stages Default control schemes (GC, Wiimote, Wiimote + Nunchuck) are allowed MetaKnight glitch is banned Neutrals: FD Battlefield Lylat Cruise Smashville Yoshi's Counter picks: Delfino Plaze Halberd Castle Siege Brinstar Pokemon Stadium 1 Rainbow Cruise Frigate Orpheon (Explaination) After the first game, each player picks a stage to ban from counter picking ffor the rest of the set. If the loser of game one elects to go random, from the 5 neutrals, the winner must stay their character. Loser may switch. (from Diem) Marvel vs Capcom 2 Xbox 360 & PS3 (More info below) You may NOT use any glitch that prevent the game from being played (this includes game freezing, game resetting, player freezing, etc.) Deadbody infinites are allowed to gain a positional advantage, but NOT to delay the game - if you see abuse of this, call a judge Button switching during the loading screen is allowed (ex: Holding Assist 1 to switch your first assist with the point) You may NOT use the same character twice on one team Winner keeps the same team, while the loser can switch teams Default time Default damage Street Fighter IV Matches: 3 rounds each. Best of 3 matches advances, double elim Winner keeps same character, loser can change character. All characters legal. Default time SETUPS Due to not being able to secure enough setups for various games, I will be waiving the venue fees for those who bring setups that we use. For instance, if you have a setup for SFIV and we already have reached our max amount of setups, your venue fee will not be waived. However, as I would like to have as many setups as possible for every game, this may not be such a problem. Still, come early to guarantee your setup. There will be other, more casual games (DDR, Mario Kart, etc) available for play. And I would like to get some other stations (KOF, BB, etc) going as well... BUT, that all depends on how many setups we get, so if you want to see more games at SuDaKaRe, it's up to you to help out with setups. Remember, if you bring a setup, the venue fee is WAIVED. More setups = smoother & faster tournaments as well as extra games and you save a little. It's a win/win. GENERAL RULES DUAL CONSOLES? Last year, SuDaKaRe ran its Street fighter IV Tournament on BOTH Xbox 360 and PS3 and was very successful. This worked due to participants being willing to share sticks and controllers with one another. We would like to do that again this year with not only SFIV, but T6 and MvC2 as well as it would open up the competition to even more players. HOWEVER, we can't do so unless we have participants who are willing to lend equipment. Keep in mind that if we do go this route, please test all equipment before the tournament and in between each match. As a reminder, TCNJ or any of the Sudakare staff is not responsible for any damaged or lost property so always keep an eye on anything you may bring regardless. There hasn't been any issues in the past, and we'd like to keep it that way. Leave your thoughts in the thread. -- If you are playing in multiple games you need to notify an organizer when you are about to play in another game, so they can skip your match on the brackets and come back to you after you completed the other tournament match. -- Also once the tournament starts you are responsible for knowing when your next match will come up.
