I hear that. I've got plans set for when MK9 comes out. We'll probably host tournaments for it every other Sunday, opposite airdasher Sundays.

I'll be at FFA from roughly 8pm-10pm tonight. Then I'm heading to Japan Arcade for work. We've got MvC3 set up on 4 stations, so come get some action! EDIT: If you're coming down, BRING YOUR STICKS (MvC3 is on X360)!

Wow! That's awesome! We can definitely use that for future AH3 and BB tournaments. As for MvC3 recording, I think that StriderZer0 will be taking care of that. He's got a laptop ready for direct feeds with commentary, and other cameras for crowd/player reactions. I'll also look into seeing what we can do about possibly recording GG and VS. They both run off of VGA, so it shouldn't be too hard. EDIT: Shin, where are youuuu? We've missed you for two tournaments in a row now!

Had some awesome games with Raptor and Seung. My Baiken seems to be getting better!

Not yet. There's some problems with the Taito X2 board we're using.

It's similar, but they've added a new button. A, B, and C are light, medium and heavy attacks. D is the homing button and E is the Arcana button (also used for those blowback edge moves). It's all in the same button setup as Guilty Gear. However, now there's like 23 characters/arcanas. The system mechanics are improved and refined, you can only stock up to 3 supers, homing canceling uses a super, but your meter regains over time to the highest you've gotten it to. Also, Arcana Bursting has its own meter, and now you can burst like in Guilty Gear by pressing C+E but it locks up your Arcana Burst meter. Btw, the ninja-dog girl is Konoha.

Played some VS today against this Marvel player I know. I should be a bit better for next Sunday! Also, Raptor is getting seriously good with Saki in AH3. I need to put in more Arcana practice.

I will be. Bringing AH3 and turning on VS, too!

Get Hype! I'm heading down early to work on my PS2 and set up Arcana Heart. Hopefully I'll see you guys there! And the new character, Oni Akuma, in SSF4AE has an airdash! Maybe we should include AE now?

I think the password to unlock these characters was e-mailed to everybody who purchased the boards from Capcom. Most arcades in North America that have AE should have Evil Ryu and Oni Amuka soon (FFA and AI both have them already).

I'm talking with some of the SNK community to see what we can do about KoFXIII tournaments. It'll probably be a whole SNK related day of tournaments similar to how I do airdashers. Holding an SBO qualifying tournament on a non-arcade cabinet is not unheard of. We've done it before for Melty Blood Act Cadenza. As for CS2, the only way for a US arcade to get it is when the console version comes out, and we'll be running tournaments on CS2 once it's updated, for sure. We've had a lot of SBO qualifiers in the past, and i'd like to start bringing that back (especially now that the criteria is easier to be a hosting arcade).
