Next week we'll have Poverty Week Part 2, but I will run SSF4 and GGAC this time around, since it's not officially Poverty Week. Hopefully everyone is at Evo so I don't have to do SSF4

Always good to have people come back though. So welcome back! Now we have more Mass and NH people, still not enough people from CT Oh by the way, for whoever is interested: http://jaysonic.blog42.fc2.com/blog-entry-1412.html The new themes for Makoto, Valkenhayn, and Platina/Platinum -
We were, but said screw it and did more casuals
-
Ok sorry but I kinda forgot to save the results of last nights Poverty Night. Luckily I remember the Top 4 for each game: Inuyasha: 1 Nuclear Cheese (Kagome, Koga, Inuyasha) 2 Fraga (Kagura, Sango) 3 Tales (Demon Inuyasha, Naraku) 4 Jian 5 LordPangTong 5 Furok 7 Why Disciple 7 Mindgam3 9 Scalli 9 Vierge Quick note: Cheese won Grand Finals 3-0, This was last weeks tournament and we just finished it KoFXI: 1 Tales (Silver, Athena, Malin) 2 Nuclear Cheese (Buster Wolf) 3 Jian (Terry, Iori, Kyo) 4 Fraga (King, Clark, Vanessa/Whip) Quick Note: Tales OCV'd everyone with Silver except Fraga during the tournament, whom brought Tales to the final round. Buster Wolf is godlike for Cheese, it's the new Tyrant Wave. 3rd Strike: 1 Nuclear Cheese (Ryu) 2 Fraga (Elena) 3 Dagger/Mayu (Ryu, Ken, Makoto) 4 Furok (Makoto) Quick Note: Fraga won the 1st Set in Grand Finals 3-1, Cheese won 2nd Set 3-1. We had appearances by Twelve (Tales) and Q (Why Disciple). Ryus, Ryus Everywhere!

Well shit that completely sucks. Just get the Amazon BBCS, saves you money even though it's the American release
-
I just ordered BBCS [PS3] for $30 [American release date], so I still have a month to go before I can play it
-
No, I'm using Vistaids. So that can be why it's screwing around
-
I am, for some reason it wont record correctly, Mike at BG is helping me out by giving me some video editing programs, especially since the replays wont/cant be edited for some weird reason [Even after being converted to the correct video file]
-
Ok so here are Ranbat results: GGAC: 1 blueNINE : $42.00 2 Nuclear Cheese : $18.00 3 Mindgam3 4 Tony B 5 Furok 5 Zoob 7 kona 7 Tales 9 B-Slosh 9 Fraga 9 Dank 11 Why Disciple SSF4: 1 Essex : $63.00 2 Shady J : $27.00 3 Vigilante 4 Tony B 5 blueNINE 5 Justo 7 Mayu/Butters 7 Kryptic 9 kona 9 Furok 9 Zoob 9 Andersen 13 Zorin 13 B-Slosh 13 Shizu/Kaynoh 13 Chase 17 Kryonik 17 Jian Inuyasha (Not Finished): 4 Jian 5 LordPangTong 5 Furok 7 Why Disciple 7 Mindgam3 9 Scalli 9 Vierge Next Poverty night we'll finish the Inuyasha tournament (Tales vs Fraga Losers Finals, then Winner fights Cheese) I apologize for my lack of sense last night, I was up for officially 25 hours before I got sleep so not only was I stressed and slipped up, but I wasn't in a good mood either. Also: From now on we're going to have TIMES for tournaments, because I am sick and tired of waiting for the SSF4 crew leaving right before I start the tournament (I was delayed an hour). Melty Blood: 9:00-9:15 Start Time GGAC: 9:45-10:00 Start SSF4: 10:15-10:30 Start If you are NOT THERE by the time I start, sucks to be you. I have to maintain order in a timely fashion somehow and The SF crew is getting on my nerves in terms of time management.

You and me Both Danny, as I found my new main~ I've got Pilebunker for a Drive, I like this already!
-
I have a mission: Someone get this game and play it on an emulator: This is the DEFINITION of poverty games (You can thank my brother for showing it to me) Whoever survives the longest wins! Bonus to whoever reads the American Plot
-
Ok FINALLY fixed my computer [My Kernel failed, had to Reinstall Windows], sorry for my absence. Anyway this is Ranbat week so I wanted to remind everyone of that. $5 for MB and GG, $10 for SSF4/SSFFail. Also, Tales and Cheese wanted to know if anyone was interested in a small Inuyasha tournament on the side, I don't mind holding one, but you guys can decide.
-
So Tales and Cheese how was hanging with Butters? Did he prove that Chrono Trigger has no story?
-
I am definitely coming to this, I already promised Stryfe to help with Melty Blood. Hell yeah!
-
You best mean FFIX Tales, that was a masterpiece. I myself didn't like FFX too much, the story made me want to kill someone [it was so damn annoying]. But aside from jRPGs and RPGs, can we talk about something like... Guilty Gear? I heard it's such an underrated game right now maybe we should chat about it
-
It's as if I'm really on SRK! Also why didn't you call me back? I wanted to go to that tournament yesterday!

You are mistaken, for I too am a Tsubaki player! We shall represent well! -
Stopped reading right there, I require a short version

Guys, Shaq-Fu had the best Fighting Game story of all time. Admit it. /sarcasm I'm indifferent for RPGs, I like some, dislike others. Final Fantasy for example is overrated, but FFIX is pure brilliance, but I hate FFVII (Overrated and not that great in general). I like Guild Wars (Has a very good story) but hate WoW (RETCONS ARE OK). I love Persona 2 but don't like Devil Summoner 1 (Incoming rage). It's all preference. Sometimes story in a fighting game is good, like Blazblue (I throughly enjoyed it) and Melty Blood (There IS a story people). But for other games like SSF4 (durr), MvC2, story doesn't matter, it's gameplay. Having a good story is just an extra plus for it.

I missed the whole argument, too busy tiering Cereals.

Y'all don't know about Neith

My stick got busted up during the SSF4 tourny. We're completely re-working it, with new artwork as well. We'll be keeping standard frame, using same box, getting new plexi-glass for it as well. The original artwork will be hung up on my wall, as is (even with the tear, so my original artwork won't be thrown out).
