Hope you guys don't mind this humble newb taking a crack at this; please correct me if I have something wrong.
I suppose I should put the obligatory spoiler warning for some things about Overture here, just in case.
About Dizzy being 3 in GGX (and subsequently 8 in Overture, assuming she is in Overture)... how does that add up? If there's a five year gap between the end of the war with the Gears and the first Guilty Gear, and a year from the first Guilty Gear to X, wouldn't that mean Dizzy was born two years prior to Justice's resurrection? Meaning she would have been born three years after Justice was sealed away? Furthermore (if I've been informed correctly), Dizzy recognizes Justice as her mother, suggesting the two of them have met at one point (which further complicates matters...). Assuming she was biologically born in the very last year of the Crusades, she'd have to be at least 6 years old by the time of GGX, and 10 by Overture.
Is this a hint that Dizzy isn't Justice's biological daughter, but a copy, clone, or "backup" (What about all the half-Gear talk then?)? Is Kokage no Kimi's low age part of a clever red herring of Dizzy being Sin's mother? Not to ruffle people's pairing feathers, but I could see it happening, what with all the really poor attempts at ambiguity towards her identity. Unless Daisuke isn't nearly as clever as he thinks he is... Or is it just a mathematical oversight?

Incidentally, I know I'm a bit late to the party on this whole Overture and 9/10ths of the cast is gone and Dizzy and Ky apparently reproduced, but I want to get my two cents in. I can't help but fear that Sin is going to become the "new" Dizzy for the rest of the series. With all the talk of "who owns the rights to what," it might be the only way for Daisuke and to continue that part of the story, and while I can sympathize... It just seems like a terrible end to her; after all that talk from the Gearmaker, her great destiny can be summed up as "Ky's wife, Sin's mother." I certainly hope that's not the case.
