You cannot deny the awesome style of the music video though.

I've been really kicking myself for putting this project down for so long but seeing all this positive feedback has defined helped me stay focused and motivated to finish it. Still have a lot of animation planned for the last part of this and fixing up a few tiny things on what I have finished and stuff I didn't post as part of the teaser. Glad you guys enjoyed it so much. The rest of the video is an epic showdown of Ragna vs Hazama with lots of fighting and epic trolling. But god damn do those fight scenes take a while to make. This teaser has around 760 unique sprites and objects. I put the preloader together rather quickly. I do indeed have plans to make it more lively later but I just wanted something simple constructed so I did spend too much time on one area.

It's both a blessing and a curse. I hate it when it prevents me from finishing a project because it never looks right to me. I may be posting a teaser for it soon to get some feedback to keep me motivated to finish it. Also, have a free better avatar. I love Higurashi and Shion/Mion:

Hard to say without seeing the original video. There wasn't too much critical timing so any lag or delay probably goes unnoticed. You'll find out that when you're the artist of these types of things you can pick out most of your flaws while the general view won't even see them. You are your own worst critic. The Timing issue is a problem with full motion video for projects like these. It's why I'm trying to make mine in Flash so I can have everything sync up correctly. I just spend a few hours lip syncing sprites to a few dialog portions, oh joy that is.
