Long time no see. Is the ranbat today a good place to get bb casuals in? Or should I just wait for a meetup next week? I won't get off work till 5pm anyways, wasn't sure how long the event would be going on for. And this is all assuming there isn't some kind of monster tornado or whatever.

Gonna post about the meetup on the DFW FG facebook group if that's okay. Will bring 360 setup with 2 sticks and i can also bring some aluminum folding chairs. Get off work at 3:30, so should be there after 4-5ish.

I'll be off from work at 1-2pm on Tuesday if people wanna start getting that p4a in. We could always try and meet up in Denton, Pfhor, if no one else is setting anything up. Sure there will be some sort of meetup this weekend.

For the whole special high/mid/low in vf: special high hits crouching opponents who are attacking, so kills 2p. special mid doesn't hit crouching block, but it breaks, it staggers it, etc. special low is 2p, is a low but can be blocked high. GGs to transient for helping me with BB. GGs to everyone trying out VF, hope to see more eileen, jean, and aoi in the future.

Some thoughts on the game: Playing against peacock, especially a solo peacock certainly does feel like mvc2. It's like if cable had assists for special moves. I felt like I couldn't do anything with my filia/cere team, and I feel like zoning is really strong and at my level, at least, I think it's worth it to use 3 characters if for nothing else than the 3rd assist. I'm thinking of using filia/cere/peacock against teams that focus on using peacock's zoning ability. I'll most likely run hp tendril against peacocks for that anti-zoning, Cerecopter on Cere, of course, and probably that tracking assist where peacock drops shit on your head to prevent enemy peacocks from staying at full screen. Otherwise her regular parabolic arch projectile thing seems really good too. That and having peacock to dhc into seems really good. Filia roach super > wall bounce > Fenrir super > dhc Peacock HVB/Cere's windmill pound super does a lot of damage. Not having tech options for dummies in training really sucks. Feels bad going online and realizing something I thought worked actually doesn't. Though it's really not terrible, mostly just had to switch Filia's 2hk hair car for 2mk 623hp roach super. What is everyone averaging for 1 meter bnbs? I can get like around 6-7k at most. Cere's combos are stupid easy and do a ton of damage: 2lk 2mp 2hp jc jlk jhk land 2lk 5mk 6hp -Can be done off hk jump in. In the corner you can cancel 6hp into 623hp 236pp. You can also do the 2lk 5mk 6hp ender off of 214grab and add the corner stuff if you throw them into the corner. Trying to figure out what to do with her 623mp devil horns move.

oh god this game... I'm feeling all the emotions. Need to try netplay on a wired connection. The latency on a 2 bar connection made it to where i couldn't block short hops on reaction. lol... Also, kyo's 3d is so easy to cancel into 236b/d in this game, I'm hitconfirming like a boss.

Noticed in the TBF thread that Arthur was the first to ask about kof13, if he is playing that shit god help us all.

if someone can bring a crt for ps2 games that would be super great. i always rely on the melty denton bros to bring crts, but I don't know if any of them are coming.
