It's basically a series of tournaments that will earn you ranking points so you can be seeded higher in any of the official EVO tournaments. BTW, in case you hadn't heard K2, the official EVO games are UMvC3, AE2012, KOFXIII, SFxT, SC5 and MK9. A lot of people are very upset that BB, despite coming out with a new game as well as being represented at EVO last year, is being left out of the main roster this year.
