Some random Slayer knowledge: He started the Assassin's Guild to deal with those who considered themselves above the law, and not originally just as weapons to the highest bidder, a purpose that was gradually perverted as time went on. He comes back later to correct this by attempting to disband the guild. He considers just drinking blood from regular people to be fairly filthy behavior, or so he tells Axl. He considers Axl one of his best friends, at least as far as humans go. Due to their respective natures, they both seem "immortal", so he finds a kinship with him. This one is my speculation, but I believe Sharon is the same type of genetic immortal as Raven, due to Slayer's explanation of her abilities. While loneliness, pain, and constant travel have jaded Raven, Sharon likely met Slayer early in her immortality and has been happy to serve as both his eternal companion and "bloodbank" that never runs dry. The true extend of his fighting ability has never, and likely will never be seen, since he seems to have retired as of his AC+ end.

This thread is a true lifesaver for anyone who wants to brush up on canon knowledge.

I didn't dislike GG2 because of the fact that Ky got married. I never really thought about him as gay or straight. I disliked it because of the genre-change, dumping of the entire secondary cast, and introduction of a whole bunch of terms and ideas that hadn't even been remotely touched on before, despite that they would have been important. Here's to hoping Daisuke gets the rights to his own characters back. Otherwise, the rest of the female cast will have to do more Queen's Blade books just to make ends meet! Oh, the humanity!

Anyone know if there's currently being any work done on an Accent Core Plus plot/script faq? There was one for GG, GGX, and GGXX, I believe. I was just wondering because I have no consoles, but I love the GG plot and haven't played any since XX. I know from the Japanese vids on NicoNicoDouga that AC+ seems much more dialogue heavy. There were just no subtitles.

Faust/Baldhead is one of those 4th wall things. Body type, way of speaking, bouts of crazyness, the billion and a half clues left to his identify. Everyone who plays the game knows Faust and Baldhead are the same person. The public at large doesn't, in the GG world. Faust looks crazy enough NOW, who would want to let him operate if they all knew he was the infamous Doctor Baldhead?

If I-no is involved, it's pretty much a given that it's not work safe. Or safe for anyone, for that matter!

I've been reading those tag team quotes. Some of them are pretty damned funny. I especially like this one you translated: Johnny: Teaming up is more exciting than I thought! What do you think? Sol: ...I think you're a bastard. Oh Sol, you're such a tsundere.
