  1. Guilty Gear.
  2. Xbox Live is pretty great. I have one of the SF4 madcatz gamepads, and it is hands down the best game pad I've used for fighters. I think that's all it comes down to here, is which online service and controller do you prefer. Before the madcatz SF4 gamepad came out, there was nothing shy of an arcade stick that would work for fighters, and life was bad. I never thought spending $40 on a wired controller with no analog sticks would be the best gaming investment I'd make.
  3. So then those would be reflected in the Japanese sales? I'm sure some people did that, but are we talking hundreds, thousands, or tens of thousands of people?
  4. good games but I gotta get some sleep now
  5. I'll send you a friend request, but I'm still a noob
  6. Hey I'm gonna send you an FR.
  7. What kind of logic is that? The community get's split up every time a few new characters, character tweaks, and game modes are added. Why on earth would anyone encourage new titles over DLC and patches for such miniscule things?
  8. I'm pretty excited for this. BlazBlue CS EX doesn't exactly have a ton of players online, probably because Aksys keeps releasing new games instead of DLC and splitting up the community. A single Guilty Gear on XBLA, especially only costing $15, will have enough people online to keep me happy for a while(assuming the netplay doesn't blow).
  9. For what it's worth, according to the sales of on VGChartz, BBCS sold more copies in the USA on the 360. I'm in the USA and own it on 360 and almost every host is Japanese! WTF?!
  10. I played GGXX so much that I think half the characters were my main lol. You know you play to much when you own people with Zappa. And that was on PSP too. The psp isn't the greatest for fighting games, but it's certainly livable. I haven't played BB enough to even have a main yet.
  11. This. I have the same problem when I jump into a new fighting game, so i usually play the slowest character. This forces me to think before I act and also allows me to observe how others use the faster characters. Also, go into training mode with the character you want, and find some sort of strategy or combo that might be useful and memorize it. The combo may or may not be effective against real opponents, but it will force you to learn something other than mashing. Once you get past the button mashing thing, you can delve deeper into the game mechanics and really understand how things work.
  12. If anyone cares to play some causal matches with a noob in the USA, send me a friend request: P1G V3n0m Just make sure to include a message referencing BlazBlue so I know it's someone from the forums.
