Don't go into details and frame data right away you first have to start with finding a character that the friend will like. Let them get an attachment to the character via gameplay and story mode, from there you begin with gameplay and having them try the character out. Slowly work them into playing intensively and after a while you show them how the top players use their character. Works everytime
