  3. Ok I have good news and bad news. The bad news is unfortunately no more available rooms will be released to our group rate/discount at the Hilton. I was trying to get more for you guys, but I've already gone well over my allotment with two months before the event. With that being said that's not going to stop me trying to get you guys a good place to stay at the same rate. So I called the Crown Plaza right down the street and they would be HAPPY to house our overflow. SOOOOO here's the deal. The CP has released 20 rooms at $95 per night (Double beds and singles) and if those sell out they will be happy to add more is what they told me directly! They offer shuttle service throughout the whole weekend! The hotel is on the other side of spondivits for those that have been to FR before. Here's the address and number so you guys can book right now!!!! Crown Plaza Atlanta Airport 1325 Virginia Avenue, Atlanta, GA 30344 For individuals to make reservations, please direct them to 1/866-750-3365 to secure their reservations prior to March 3, 2016 To confirm the room rate is $95.00 plus applicable taxes The rooms are normally $127 per night so grab them while you can! Please let me know if these rooms are sold out and I will contact them again to get more rooms added to the block. Lets show them the power of the FGC and sell two hotels out for FR19 weekend! #FGCcannotbeheldback

All team/exhibitions/community events must get approved by ME to be ran at FR19 period! Any "Community event" will be ran by the communities that requested their game to be played at FR19. Remember that Community event doesn't mean it won't happen. If I allow it at FR then it's a tournament regardless of the label. Hence the name EVENT in the title. We would just need some help with the systems/games and you will have an area to play and run the tournament. All community events registration will be at the door only. Team/exhibitions/community events that are confirmed as of now are as followed: SFV teams 3v3 MKX teams 3v3 UMVC3 teams 3v3 GGXrd teams 3v3 TTT2 teams 3v3 Smash 4 Doubles Melee doubles KOF13 BB Melty P4U2 We will have a BYOC room for people to play casuals during the event that spectators can play also. If you've been to FR you know we always have an arcade for everyone to enjoy as it helps remind our younger generation where this scene came from! With that being said we want to bring back the old school arcade tournament at FR19. Just like the old school arcade scene you will have to register for your game at the event, but you can take advantage of the early bird online pay for your badges. BAS has registered for FR19 and he wants to run a CVS2 community event at FR19. I told him that's a cool idea, but it would have to be on friday since I DO NOT WANT CVS2 matches to delay any SFV or Umvc3 singles pools on Saturday! I wanted to expand that idea to other favorites in the arcade back in the day. I know everyone runs side arcade events, but do THEY STREAM those arcade events? NOPE, but at FR19 we will stream them thanks to Arturo Sanchez aka nycfurby! You can view the old school goodness on his stream page at Twitch.tv/nycfurby Here's the line up: Street Fighter 2 Super Turbo - on h2h Japanese cabinets (Sat) Street Fighter 3: 3rd strike - on h2h Japanese cabinets (Sat) Street Fighter Alpha 2 - on h2h japanese cabinets (Fri) Capcom VS SNK 2 - Japanese cab (Fri) UMK3- Shock usually brings his supergun/emulator so he would be streaming that game. (Sun) Please contact me if you have a cvs2, 3s, A2, ST board as we would need at least 3-4 to make sure things runs smoothly. I really don't want people to forget the origins of the FGC, so having some type of link to the past is important to me and the arcade is where this community came from. Spectators can play casuals in the arcade but not during tournament time . We will have multiple streams for FR19 for those that can not attend the event to get a small taste of the event. We are glad to have the following streamers for FR19: Stream #1= Team Spooky - http://www.twitch.tv/teamsp00ky FunkyP - http://www.twitch.tv/funkyp Kombatnetwork - http://www.twitch.tv/kombatnetwork SmashStudios - http://www.twitch.tv/smashstudios Arcade room and Salty Auditorium = twitch.tv/nycfurby During the day we will have an anime movie room in the Salty auditorium during the day playing movies all day until the salty auditorium opens for late night game action! I don't think anyone has had a movie room at their FGC event, so please don't bite my swag guys! We will have a map of the event area coming out soon so you can know where everything is at during this action pack weekend! This is just the tip of the iceberg as we will have more updates as the months pass by so keep your eyes open for the goodies in future post! For those that was wondering about the cos-play contest we are working on the details to make the cosplay event better than last year. Man how times flies when you're having fun! I can't wait to see everyone and again and hopefully meet some new players in the FGC at FR19. It's on now shawty! See you guys in march.

  6. Hello guys, pre registrations ends on November 8th, 2015 and the hotel reservations end on october 20th 2015. We hope to see you guys out at this new event.
  7. We would love to see the Anime community at TFC this year!
  8. NOVEMBER 20-22, 2015 San Diego, CATown and Country Resort & Convention Center500 Hotel Cir N, San Diego, CA 92108 In an effort to trying to bring all of the FGC together Paradise was born! We had a WC qualifier this past year in SD that we offered a free badge + entry in the game you won for FR18. This tournament will be used in the similar way we run FRbats in japan. The amount of entries will decides how many players are sent out to FR19. Since a trip from SD to the ATL cost around 450 the minimum total of players needed to enter are 45 and 1st place will be flown to FR19. Not only will they get a free round trip flight, but we will provide you with a hotel room at FR19 + badge/game entry. If we get 90 players in a game then 1st and 2nd place will receive the prize. How many people that are sent depends on how many attend, but in the case a game doesn't reach the 45 minimum we will cover the difference in that game so at least 1st place will still receive a round trip flight to FR19, but they will have to get their own hotel room at the FR19 venue. I personally will take the people that qualify for the prize to the SD airport and purchase the tickets right after the event or we can do it online while they watch. Either way this is the system that has been proven over several years in japan to send players to FINAL ROUND each and every year and I feel it would work in America also. If we have gatekeepers from the east coast that win PARADISE we will buy your flight from whatever city you will fly from to FR19. Here are the games that will qualify for the trips: DOA5 Last Round "Battle Royale qualifier for $500Ultra Street Fighter 4Tekken 7 official tournament on cabsGuilty Gear XrdUltimate Marvel vs Capcom 3Mortal Kombat XSmash 4 WiiU Each game will be $10 entry fee and online registration for badges will be $40 until online reg closes. The Emergency door registration will be $50. Online registration is up now at www.finalround.org/paradiseAll team tournaments will be held on Friday, Nov 20, 2015 so they won't slow down any singles. We also have Paradise group room rates for single and double bed rooms for $89 per night! Please reserve at https://aws.passkey.com/event/13906180/owner/27934/home under the paradise/finalround so it will count towards our group. The venue is located in fashion valley area so there's plenty to do between pools times. There's a mall right across the street from the venue with a movie complex. For people flying to SD for the event get on the car rental shuttle and go to the enterprise rental place. Once there the train station is a few blocks away. $2.50 gets you to fashion valley mall on the local transit train system. Once you exit the train just walk across the street away from the mall and cross a small bridge and you're at the event venue We would like to thank our sponsors for supporting the FGC: TEAM NINJAMADCATZNAMCO Please make sure if you're in town on Thursday November 19, 2015 to attend the MADCATZ official Pre Tournament Party! This party will be held at a local bar called: "Henry's Pub"618 5th Ave. San Deigo, CA 92101 There will be drinks/food/games to be enjoyed at the pre party! This is a special TY to the FGC from MADCATZ for supporting their products over the years. To set up meetings/challenges with other players attending Paradise please check out our FaceBook page at www.facebook.com/events/377784292386138/ and if you have any questions please hit us up there. I hope everyone in the SW/WC would attend this event this year. From CA, to AZ, NV, NM, CO, WA, UT, WY, OR, and MT. If Gatekeepers from the east coast are willing to attend also that would be great! Thank you for your continued support!
  9. oh yea blacksnake your paypal email didn't work sir. Can you give it to me again?
  10. NOthing was done on purpose to shaft you guys and best believe it will be corrected. If you guys are too sour on fr to attend next year I will understand. Like I said, I had a post tournament meeting with ben and malik to get what went wrong and how to fix it next year. We will continue to talk to make sure nothing of this nature happens again. Yes the Anime scene has grown, but no scene should have this happen to them if it's big or small period. That's my bad, period.
  11. We also had 4 ps3's and one or two 360's die on us which is why we didn't have enough systems for casuals or enough for the tournament to begin with. Someone broke my projector screen we used for 645 on Saturday that could have been used as a viewing screen on funkyP stream during sunday. Just posting about other things I've heard was a problem at FR18 with the anime side of things.
  12. I also wanted to say my bad to shinsyn for messing up his efforts on putting together a great 5v5 for xrd. It was mad hype in the salty auditorium, but it was mad late when it started also so my bad on that. I'll hit you up on facebook when I get a chance bro.
  13. Hello everyone, I'm here to address the problems we had during FR18 when concerning the anime portion of the event. I would first like to thank everyone that attended FR18. FR18 was a great event because you guys attended. Let me address the scheduling/pool issue. I would like to state that these are NOT EXCUSES! They are just facts on what happened during FR18; Instead of having everything run straight out of paypal, we used a system call wufoo. This system would is supposed to auto populate the games paid for and separate them in each game you enter. Once it does that it will send the player a confirmation email. Well if anyone has me on facebook they have noticed me posting if you got a blank email for confirmation error you needed to contact us asap to clear this up. Well we continued to have this problem and when we are trying to look through over 1100 players that pre reg it can be like finding a needle in a stack of needles. Even when we thought we had everyone covered we still had over 50 people come to the door with the same problem. So once that happens we must go over each person in the list to try and make sure we get everyone. We even made a pending list because the process of finding and correcting each person was a serious problem for attendance and us as organizers. We had to delay pool assignments to our volunteers due to this fact also since we never had a true accurate count on the players attending FR18 until we did the tally after door registration. This pretty much added another step into our check off system which was to check the pre reg, check the onsite reg, and then check everyone again one by one to make sure everyone was in every game they sign up for. Obviously we missed the anime games and that's my bad 100%. We should have AT LEAST put what we had on the site so at least half the people would have know what pools they were supposed to be in and what time they was suppose to be there. We also didn't explain the color code for the pools that was on our site. We told people the tournament started at 10am, but didn't explain that each pool had a 2 hour block on the schedule. If we had done that better people could have figured out what pool they were supposed to be in. Those 2 things could have eliminated a lot of confusion and frustration the players, but it wasn't done. None of this was done to disrespect the anime community in any manner. With FR being the 1st anime major to top 200+ way back in the day when nothing got 200+ that I can remember I'm really upset I let you guys down with this years event. If it's a official event or a side tournament I want every tournament at my event to run smoothly. if you guys don't want to attend FR ever again I will understand. These are not excuses. They are just facts on what happen throughout the scheduling process. We are already talking with the guys that helped run the anime part of fr18 to make sure any issues we had this year are corrected. Sorry about that guys. I let the anime community down with this event. It will be corrected moving forward for sure.
  14. not if you want it to be streamed! Please no profane names. TY Also this is a great idea that I can't wait to see unfold! I would like to thank the animeeeeeeeee community for your continued support of FR! 186 player pre registered for Xrd at FR18 and Under nights in birth hit that 69! So with walk up Xrd could max out a 256 man bracket! Would you guys want the old school huge table size bracket? lol Surely we can get 8 teams to compete in the anime 5v5 with that many people competing! yooOOoooooo animeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
  15. so who are the teams?!?!? What states will be represented at FR18 in GG Xrd? They have to have atleast 5 players on each team Pokemon style. With Xrd coming out guys let's make FR18 huge like back in the day when it was the 1st gg tournament to have 200+ players! Reserve your hotel rooms today before they run out. You know how they disappear the closer you get to the event. lol https://resweb.passkey.com/Resweb.do?mode=welcome_ei_new&eventID=11618166
