  1. Well, just knowing is not enough, you need to learn them thoroughly so you can connect any random hits into a combo and don't drop combos (You never know what's going to happen in a match, if a chance is gone, the chance is gone) And GF frc is very important for sol, GF frc>.. is like the only okizeme/mixup option he has, and it's sometimes useful for corner combo as well (e.g. GC>6P>opponent wall bounce>GF frc>air combo) You must master it if you want to be a good sol player. For poke and pressure, I'm not a sol player so I cant say much, I can tell you 5K is a very good anti-air, 2D and 2S are good ground moves with low risks as well. There are plenty of #R matches added onto youtube recently, I'm sure you can find some with the best Sols in it (i.e. PC, 012, isa), just simply learn from the best. Look at all the little moves and tricks they do and try to understand them. I apologize if you find this post offending in any way, my english isn't that great so yea... Hope you find it useful.
  2. I think the 1st thing you need to do is learn the basic combos for Sol, the problem is not that there's no openings, it's just that you cant make use of the chances you've got and turn it into a victory. For example, in one of the replays u did a 2HS CH, and you barely hit anything after that, if you dont know dustloop, the least you can do is something like jk>js>jc>js>jd>623HS>214K>knockdown>gun flame FRC>mixup PS: btw, don't spam moves randomly (e.g. 236K and 623HS), you'll just get punished badly, learn to poke n pressure safely.
