So.. to make sure, you only use 6B against low pressure attacks like 2A? and 6A for anti-air attacks?

Kay, I'm having friends on saturday play with me anyways. One of them is a decent Jin user so I'm going to focus fighting him.. There's a 6c combo? wow I'll check that out, cause I find myself landing 6C sucessfully alot.

Huh.. does pressing the button longer? really help in making combos? I read it from that haku-men everything thing, and suprisingly J.C2 loop is suprisingly easier.

Well regardless on what it says on the match up chart, In my oppinion I just don't like fighting Jins with Haku-men(learning Haku-men atm). I get punished one too many times with 623C, when I try to strike him. Though after a few matches with my friends yesterday, I found it easier to fight Jin in close quarters...

To Leonil_Requiem: lol, to tell you the truth I'm more of a guilty gear fan but persona is kickass. thanks for the advices I'll check his chart, and get a better understanding of it. To mAc Choas: I see, that explains alot of things. Yeah I read that Hotaru is better and it only cost 2 stars. It's true it's also unblockable unless it's barrier or IBs right?

it's all psyche and timing I guess. I hate playing against Jins who like their "counter attack" , uggh there isn't much to do about them except predicting them. To be honest despite Nu and Arakune, this is my most hated match up with Jin's frame traps.

Tried 214B->236A->6C, only 3 stars (3 magatamas or whatever it is...) and it's pretty effective for decent damage which is awesome. To mAc Choas : I think 214B (1st hit) allows for more options but I'm a Hakunub trying to help sadly(rage me if you want), 2nd hit would be effective on the corners for obvious reasons. On mid field, it's probably advised to only use 1st hit since your asking to be zoned by characters like Nu-13 , or Arakune since CT Hakumen has little movement with walking as his "best" way to get around and has hopping. About the hop I heard you can use tsubaki(J.214C) during it but I don't know the details of a low ground J.214C is it true you can combo after J.214C? It's either not worth it or I just don't look enough Test: (On mid field with Ragna) I think it's nooby but I did 5A->214B(1st hit)->41236B(Zan)->5C->236A and I got more damage than leaving 214B to do a 2nd hit but it's like a 100 damage higher difference. but I can chain 6C(does signficantly more) in that combo when I can't in the corners. I couldn't land 236A on Jin but it still did around 100 damage more with 214B (first hit)

Yeah, my bad on that, I'm fine with his other aspects though escaping pressure is something I need to work on, but his combos are hard to me but I guess that's just because I'm not used to his play style. Anyways, I think I have enough posting and questions on this thread, I'll just practice and stuff.

Yeah I get it , practice does wonders as they say. If his combos are relatively easy to pull then, why do people tell me alot he has a huge learning curve?

Alright I'll test them out on training later and so on. As for the combos, to be honest aside from the combo I had posted, I haven't gotten too far in anything complex in his combos (though J.C -> 2C etc. are pretty hard as you said) . Do you have any reccomendations for beginner/effective combos? Same here, I'm pretty sure every character has a different drop rate but...

Thanks, that helped me plenty with his combos. Oh , I forgot this one; noob question but generally do all of his combos work on every character? I haven't seen too many variations of them aside from Tager for obvious hit box reasons

I apologize for any inconvience I will be bringing with my Haku-men noob questions. First of all I have taken playing Haku-men more seriously and I need help with these specific combos. 5C-> 623A (aka Kisshu[Enma])->J.C ->2C->J.2C loop after I linked 623A, what's the timing to sucessfully land a J.C -> 2C? and question for J.2C loop... do I yet again need to time the jumping in order to sucessfully land 5 consecutive J.2C? Thanks to all that will take their time helping this nub

Okaaayy this is my first time posting something I drew.. I messed up at one point :psyduck:I'm not really a good drawer, but this for the love of Guilty Gear. I wanted to see what Sol would look like if he was in BlazBlue and so this idea came up :vbang:and the emblem I drew for Sol probably needs a little work but BlazBlue styled emblems are batshit hard to draw for me. Good thing Arakune got nerfed in Continuum Shift and Ragna's got belial edge which is a nice feature. ofcourse it's gonna take quite awhile till we get out hands on it for console. anyway is HF really a good to move to get into Arakune? He can teleport, and leaves me open with that. It's hard to find invincibility in some moves even useful in this match up in my oppinion.

the Bangs I fight always stay low at the ground waiting for me to attack while they do 2D s which is pissing me off. I'm having trouble with Bangs D's how do I counter them or stay away from them?

this still confuses me sorry but after grabbing/6C then use 214B, how can I get 5B to connect? and when Rapid Canceling 214A then doing 6D how do I cancel it into dash 3C?

Main: Ragna (generic or typical but whatever, I like agressive play style) Subs: Haku-men (He's manly and likes how he fights) Arakune ( BEES) idk: Nu-13 (Probably the only female character I'm good with) Bang (He's probably the most garrest character in BlazBlue which is ftw but.... I'm not good with him ) I'll just say I like using a lot of characters.
