He's great to use when you have a partner that can get you an opening, and kind of frustrating to use otherwise.
-
Melee suits coming at you have a harder time avoiding it, since it's behind you. They would be able to fly through the other versions and hit you if they're close enough. And yeah, Qubeley can keep someone out of the game for a while. Ending combos with 2B or AC isn't something I have a chance to do very often, but it's great when I can.
-
It's usually just stuff involving 2B, AC, and BC. For example, doing 2B as they get up and cancelling it into BC, resulting in a drill guy popping up behind them. Another example is doing 2B vs. a suit you think will try to melee you on wakeup, and backstepping into 2AC to knock them down again. Grounded BC could technically be used for that, but so could the air version in some situations. 5BC has been fun for combos with this Acguy, though. Since this 2B groundbounces, I've been messing with ending combos with 2B → BC to try and maximize the amount of time they're out of the fight.
-
It's got better melee. 6B and 8B for this version are faster than the 1k version, and 2B seems to be very slightly faster as well(and groundbounces). Acguy does a lot of wakeup oki stuff, so Pressure is a good tool to have, even if he only gets it as a super. The super starts up quickly too; based on some testing I did, it's much faster than Qubeley or Zaku III's Pressure, and very slightly faster than The O and Messala's. It has the same amount of boost as the 1k version, and technically two 1k Acguys have more HP than one 2k Acguy, but I think it's a little better overall.

Tank doesn't have BC listed as a brake cancel even though EZ8 does. Also, Gaia's CSa makes her drop, though not with the movement freedom of other people on the Charge Shot cancel list.

I was pretty disappointed with the missions in this game, completing them all felt more like a chore than anything else.

[FB] The Gaia Thread - Where's Neo when I need him ? :(

Are you sure it wasn't just an attack that looks like it, like 8b or something? -

BeaM replied to Setsuna Yuki's topic in 2000 Cost Suits
I use AC when I know I'm close enough for it to hit + know they can't counter, be it due to landing or just cutting their melee string vs. my partner. It would be really nice if it cut tracking, if they see you coming and can attack, you're pretty much guaranteed to take a hit. -

Gaia can brake cancel with CSa and the assist, but they're both pretty bad. -
For anyone who preordered the G-Sound edition from the PSN Store, you can preload it now. It is 8.1gb.

Hildolfr was the best in EXVS along with Zaku II, but it's been toned down in FB. Incidentally, Zudah is now at the top with EZ8.

The notation that may be used is as follows: →: indicates that the move functions like a gatling, e.g. RX-78 cancelling a beam rifle shot into a bazooka shot(A→AB) >: indicates a side step >>: indicates a boost dash FC Combos Demo from arcade EXVS, still relevant. Red Frame's AC-A has an interesting property where if it done with the opponent at a certain angle, Red Frame will whiff and slam onto the ground instead of doing the usual fixed height slam. This can be used in combos to launch the opponent high into the air while getting yourself back to the ground as quickly as possible. Combos that make use of this technique will be listed first, since they are super handy, and usually the combos of choice; an exception being if your partner has the other opponent 100% occupied, giving you an opportunity to do the strongest combo you can. Why it's called an FC is beyond me. It was nerfed a bit coming from EXVS, so the super high FC combos no longer put Red Frame on the ground. Why it's called an FC is beyond me. When you rainbow step into A→AC-A, do it with 88 to get directly underneath the opponent and hit the required angle for the FC to work.
Input Damage Notes A>>BD8B-2B>8B-2B>A→AC-A 182 Sidestep from BD8B-2B when Red Frame is still spinning in the air. Step from 8B-2B with 88 and input A→AC-A quickly. 8B must only hit once for this combo to work, so cancel to 2B ASAP. A>>BC-B>A→AC-A 192 4/6BB>A→AC-A 203 Super quick combo, doesn't hard KD but does a solid chunk of damage quickly. 4/6BB>4/6BB>A→AC-A 224 Probably a combo you'll make use of frequently. 4/6BB→BC-B>A→AC-A 240 Now that BC is faster, this combo is a lot better. BD8BBB>4/6BB>A→AC-A 265 BD8BB-2B>4/6BB>A→AC-A 221 Takes the opponent pretty high up. Known as the medium-height FC. BD8BB-2B>>BD8BB-2B>8B-2B>A→AC-A 228 Takes the opponent as high as they can go. Known as the high-height FC. BD8BBB>BC-B→AC-A 236 BC-B>BC-B→AC-A 271 Max damage FC combo.
