  1. Just posted a follow up video to my original video regarding my Paewang Revolution Mod. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EghfnC7O1LA It mainly covers in brief detail some does and don'ts I came across while painting something for the first time. Shows the tools I used too. For any new modders like, like I still am, it's some decent info when coupled with the other guides out there. Hope you like.
  2. For my first arcade stick mod, I did a paewang rev mod, and this is what I came up with. It isn't perfect but it will do for now. A wood case one would be ideal in the future, but I'm happy with the results from this one aside from my shotty painting abilities lol. http://youtu.be/-aPPA93ZFgU Let me know what you think! P.S. because there is a lot of text in it, and I used a specific font style, it's better to watch it at 720P. Later!
  3. Well, I actually did have an idea of how I was looking to get it stylized. With blood splatters under each button to kind of highlight them, but also a bloody sword streak passing through the buttons somehow, and with my gamer handle in that streak. I've found some blood splatter paintbrushes that I might be able to work with myself for the idea. But what I will also do is contact the person you mentioned, but just ask him through PM or something for some assistance if he has time. Thanks for the help though. I really do appreciate it cause I've got myself on a time limit to get this stick done, lol. You guys seem to be a bit more responsive then the SRK forums which I'm thankful for.
  4. Thanks for the info, but actually, I already have all the parts I want as well as all the tutorials I need to finish the mod. What I'm wanting to do is get the artwork I'm going to use customized so that there are some extra graphics on the artwork for when I actually get it printed and placed on my casing. Just trying to get help with that.
  5. Hi everyone. I'm currently working on a Paewang Revolution mod, and the artwork I'm working with I'd like to make a little more snazzy. Basically what I'm wanting to do is add just a bit more of custom graphics to it, and stylized button graphics for the arcade stick. This is the small mock up I've made of the stick that just shows the color scheme and artwork - click here. If anyone can help me out, or point me in the right direction for help, it would be greatly appreciated as I plan to complete the joystick mod on Tuesday next week.
  6. Oh no, so far I haven't run into any problems with the actual modding process, just trying to get help with the artwork and making it more snazzy. But if I do run into problems during the soldering process or the grinding process, I will definitely ask about that! Thanks for the heads though on where I might get help with my current issue though.
  7. Howdy fellow stickies. I'm currently working on a Joytron Paewang Revolution mod for use on my 360 and my friends ps3, and what I've done so far is taken it apart, sanded it, primed, and painted it (stupid krylon plastic paint takes a week to be chip damage free), and next is to grind out the button wholes to 30mm for my sanwa buttons, and put it all back together with the new stick and wiring. My question though, is if anyone can help me with the artwork for it? I have the right template, and I have artwork, but I'm just working on spicing it up a bit. All I really want to do to the artwork is add a bloody sword cut that passes at an angle through the buttons, but also leaves blood splatter-esque markes around the button labels. The artwork I'm using is the image of Asura from Samurai Shodown. http://www.bishibooru.com/_images/c0ccb8459283d34b78addb5cf8048e4a/6502%20-%20asura%20black_hair%20gothic%20long_hair%20samurai_shodown%20sword.jpg but flipped horizontally. Any help at all, even a nudge in the right direction for more info, is hugely appreciated for my quest.
