We'll have BBCP and UNIEL as tourney games, along with some casual setups for +R and P4U2. I also need to get some training in on BBCP since I'm planning on entering it @ Absolute Battle.

We're gonna be hosting another Fight Club out here in October, and I hope you guys show again! This time, you won't be playing with yourselves (hopefully if our regulars show). hey, I made a funny! (playing with yourselves bit), so I expect to be booed out of the thread :D

a couple of things about the East Texas tournament (I'm the organizer for it): Sorry about just having a few people there for BB. Normally we would have twice our attendance for it, but we had two towns not represented who probably would have had a fighting chance (Nac/Texarkana) in BB. The meetup before this past one, we had the Japanese version of BBCP and we were just goofing around with it because someone happened to bring it. We would love to have you guys down again for another go, if I can get more people for it. Our attendance was way off because of Smash 4 demos/Fathers Day Weekend, normally the room is packed with close to 50 people. Thanks for bodying us free, even if I snuck a round in with Tager against one of you guys <3

I'd argue for Kokonoe to be allowed, as I found the concerns everyone had with her to begin with sufficiently addressed by ASW.

hey guys, wanted to give you all a heads up that the event series I run out in East Texas is looking to expand into GGAC+R/BB:CP for our next tournament/gathering on March 8th. If you're interested in making a trip out of the Metroplex out to East Texas, let me know. I'd need at least 10 - 15 for a bracket in either game. Also, I'm trying my hardest to get back up there for a meetup ... but I've been having to take care of my 3-month old grandson, and as such I really can't get away as often as I'd like.

Just wanted to give an update on my possible move to the Dallas area. Recruiter for the company I came in and interviewed on Monday for in Irving told me today they're still doing interviews for the position (unknown amount of openings). I was supposed to have known today whether or not I got the job, but it looks like it will be Friday before I find out, if not sooner. I'm not keeping my hopes up though, since I've been told this same type of shit here locally, only to get passed over on the position in the end. I'm still planning on getting CP, but it's looking more and more likely that I will be getting the US Limited Edition in March next year.

I will be hunting for a LE copy of BBCP if I either get this job on Monday in Dallas or get either of my two jobs here at home. The job I'm interviewing for on Monday is in the DFW area (Irving to be specific), which means I would actually be able to attend meetups and the occasional ranbat.

hey guys, I might be moving to DFW if this job checks out right next week. Waiting to hear back about two other jobs first though (one in AR working on circuits for a 3rd party, the other at a credit union near my mother's house in Longview a couple hours away) before I plan for this. If I get either one of these three jobs, AB will probably happen for me provided the wifey gives her blessing. Also, if I move to DFW I might be able to help with hosting meetups and stuff (provided we have a big enough place).

I have some guys out here who are interested in CP but the import shop I use (NCSX, been using them forever) is getting their stock in the last week of October. I still have to sell my wife on the game as well, and at $85 - $90 shipped it may very well be a up-road battle. We'll see ...

Hey guys, as some of you have heard ... I have put playing fighters to the side in favor of running a semi-regular event out here in East Texas. I wanted to find out how many of you would show up if the event had GG/P4U. You guys would be more than welcome to bring setups, and provided I acquire the equipment, we can probably stream matches too. I should be in Dallas on the 11th for a concert (barring my wife saying straight up I can't go). I'll try to make it out and talk to you guys in person.

I'll try to make it out to Jet's for the meetup (I'll be in Ft. Worth through Sunday), but I have to be back at the hotel before 6pm for a bullshit gala that I'll be staying 30 - 45 minutes for. I may skip Fight Club and come to Mightfo's place, since he's hosting another meetup on Friday. Also, can someone teach me basic and intermediate GG stuff during the meetup? I think I wanna try playing in the GG and Persona tournaments at Bar Fights, but I'd have to borrow someone's stick if I showed up. My Chie is hella rusty too.

Just wanted to drop word in that I'll be out on the other side of Ft. Worth this weekend for birthday shenanigans through Sunday. I may try bringing my PS3 along with me and downloading GG from the hotel room, but if a meetup happens on Friday I won't be able to show until late; if at all because of Fight Club happening. If there's a meetup Saturday, I'll be more than happy to drag my ass to wherever to play.

looks like I'll be in the Metroplex the weekend of the 18th of January. I plan on going to Fight Club on Friday, and hopefully make it out to the meetup that Saturday (if I am still in town and haven't headed back to East Texas). Hope to see Mightfo and everyone again :D
