  1. I know your negative. Hell im very aware you are. Thats not what mixups are about. True someone can spam 2a and beat you out of your 2a. Its training them to just BLOCK! because if they did 2a they would get punished by a corkscrew normally. Its all mind games.
  2. Also eshi pmed to tell me to shutup and that hes right. I mean I guess if you can't have a convincing argument publicly, get petty and make it private? idk. Seems sour to me. Personally all he did was debase himself. I bring this up because he has no rhyme or reason to his argument so he goes around behind public eyes to try and shut down mine. Its truly pathetic actually
  3. I think I can throw some input in here. Kill rush>4a>stop>2a(repeat) kill rush>4a>4d>6b kill rush>4a>6c>throw kill rush>6c>throw kill rush>4a>6+c+d>boomerang hook>corkscrew kill rush>4b>6c>2a kill rush>6c>4d>4a+b kill rush>4a>sweep kill rush>4a>AOA Kill rush>4a>6c>Short hop>j.b>kill rush kill rush>4a>6c>4c>6c>4c>6c>4c>6c>4c.... for lols kill rush>4b>6c>4b>6c>4b> more lols kill rush>4b>5c
  4. You came off shit talking parry. That was one of your earliest statements. After I just got done describing its benefits. Which makes you seem standoffish. You directed my responses to be strict, not the other way around.
  5. I get you, I get you. I've just been seeing a lot of slander towards it in recent. Its a double edged sword. Im not a parry whore, though I can off as one. I was simply defending its mechanics. I parry when I have too. To be honest most of the time I parry I get 2a to my face(w/e weak confirm) but its 2k you didn't have to eat.
  6. Granted reaction(true reaction can exist), in a game like this its 99.9% prediction. Even if you think your reacting. You were only ready from the prediction. Its too fast. The game is simply to fast to react to a jab(exageration). 5-20 frames for a move is a 1/3 of a second. That's not reaction-able most of the time. You have to KNOW im going to sweep you. You have to be READY for elizabeths lazer because she seems to always do it at point X. Fuzzy guarding is different. Its almost akin to predicting to react. Its all perception. You perceive, predict, react.
  7. 214 A, is counter hittable after. 214 b is counter hittable before but lasts longer.
  8. False. Take Mitsurus sweep for example. If she knows your going to parry it(which you can't, its a low), but if she knows what your reaction WOULD be, she can cancel it, bait your counter, and punish you. Thats what I mean by even reactions are habitual. Then you've been conditioned to just block the sweep all together. Then she can just cancel into a throw. Then you knowing that you try to hit her first. Then she stops canceling it. Its all a habitual chain of reactions. Whats important about this, is if your in their head predicting their reaction.
  9. You have it wrong new blood. I assure you the kanji you play must not be that good. Akihiko as a whole has good mixups. Not the person playing him. And your range IS his. Thats the problem in the first place. All you have to do is mess up twice. I don't care if your the mix up master, you have openings. If your playbuddy can't punish them, you don't have the consensus to come here and speak about the matchup
  10. Most everything people do is habitual. Even they're seemingly CRAAAAZZZY air game, or oki or whatever else you wana say, seems to be random; its not. They do it on everyone else match after match. Figure it out, break it down, and crush they're face. Akihiko is a punisher. Even reaction is habitual. See how they react, they'll do it again. Its only human. IT WORKED THE first time, ill keep doing it till I get punished. Even if its a>c>z>f. Guess what. You'll see the a>c>z>f again.
  11. Are you crazy? You claim persona 4 has HARDER execution than blazblue? You must have played Arakune or some other piss easy character. That or your combos consisted of 3 hits. Makoto had really hard combos, noels bounce combos were hard, hazama, I mean really, be more fanboi right now. P4a is a great game don't get me wrong. but to PRETEND for even a second that the dumbed down version of gg, and the easiest combo system they've ever had is harder than BB than your a joke. I can do 7k with akihiko blind folded. I can learn any combo in p4a with in an hour easy. Go play some guilty gear and go learn how hard a real combo is.
  12. And thanks heroic, I always wondered why I couldn't kill rush sweep into killrush.
  13. Yes, I went and tested it. Wanted to get my facts straight. It comes out in like 8 frame <<< guesstimate
  14. Thats good to know! Positive on block from a full screen laser is rather ridiculous though...
  15. When you say AOA do you mean literally change the move? Because it makes it faster, I personally tested it. It doesn't however change what combos you can do.
  16. Parry is situational, weave is situational, ducking.... you know what, most everything in fighting games is situational. Recognize the situation and react to it. Anyways if you block Elizabeths beam, Im pretty sure you have enough time to 236 d>6b. If you KNOW shes going to beam you. Just do ex cork screw and take half her life.
  17. The throw is deeply effected by level. If you throw at level 3 you get a wall bounce. I do kill rush A>boomerang hook a>ducking d>Throw all the time. The reason its different is because the throw doesn't actually reset your cyclone. So when you 4a>6b it wall bounces
  18. Kanjis Dp is like everyone elses... frame 1 invincibility. I don't know what your going on about but the only thing kanji has going for him DP wise, is its only -5. Which makes it safe on regular block. Bait it like anyone elses, hell make it whiff, and he's in the same shoes as everyone else.
  19. I completely disagree eshi. Just because your weak point is good reaction speed, don't go spewing your biased views to other members. His counter isn't meant to be an end all. Its for recognizing specific moves and countering them into good damage. In fact boomerang hook on counter leads into huge damage. But go ahead and stay blocking while the rest of us actually win this match up.
  20. ok so I tested it out, it only works meterless from what im seeing. There's no way to prioritize AOA over ex corkscrew. Which makes it really impractical.
  21. Im going to have to go and personally verify this myself. I'm pretty sure it doesn't effect the actual AOA. You won't get a better squeeze out of a lvl 3 AOA. But execution and recovery Ill look into.
  22. That's inaccurate. Your AOA is not affected by your cyclone gauge. Also pressure wise, I have a general triangle I do. Kill rush>boomerang hook A>sweep. Do it till they block kill rush>boomerang hook A>5c. Mix up between these two till they start mashing out 2a, or their R-action Kill rush>boomerang hook A>4d>(whiff)>Corkscrew>major punish If they sit there and simply block low and can recognize ceasar and block high, I just go in and throw them with level 3 cyclone. If they're quick enough even still to tech it, you have a hard match ahead of you.
  23. What I recently found out is his thunder fist special literally lasts until you get hit. Period. Im still dipping in the kitty pool with it, but when you wrap your head around the fact their STUCK where they are if you keep poking them, possibilities open up. Especially against characters like yosuke. my problem with it right now is that 5c doesn't reset theyre paralysis. You have to be very careful when poking them without it.
  24. Meh ill take a shot at this one. Though I always find these Character x vs character x match up threads amusing. ready? " be the better akihiko". Sorry had to say it. Now onto some logistics. Jump in a lot. I mean a lot. You don't have to attack. Just approach from the air and block. For some reason every akihiko and their mother will try to 7c you. Like constantly. Hoping for that counter when you kill rush in. Whiff punish the aggressive ones. Mix up the turtles, and always, make sure your combo's hurt more than his. If he has better damage when he catches you I suppose you already lost before the match started? I mean you can argue that your neutral is better and you catch him more(which is true), but the bottom line is akihiko is a punisher by nature. If your punish doesn't hurt your playing the wrong character.
  25. xS-1x I don't really understand your negativity toward this match up. Mitsuru does everything yu does but better. The only thing yu has over Mitsuru is better oki. Wake up and r-action. Just once for his reaction. If he blocks and punishes you its worth it, because you learn so much about how he fights. From then on he will bait it. Jumping back/blocking or using his Persona to Oki you. If he jumps back then proceeds to either air dash in with a jump in or do 214 A, you can choose to evade dash away, or anti air him. If he never moves, hes going to block, Just wake up and throw. If he uses his persona(and he's really good at matching your recovery with his persona)then block the string, and evade dash the next(theres an opening). If he runs in with it r-action. Thats basically all he has for oki. Now onto your main complaint. His range. Its "ok" nothing amazing. Just jump in on him a lot. If he anti airs you, just bait it with j.c. I beat most Yu's by simply being the aggressor. No its not down back the game. Its only down back the game because you don't know when to switch things around. I mean you have a COUNTER, use it. You have r-action,evasive dash, Ex duck, i mean you just have so many tools to make that yu regret over extending.
