Other companies have done similar. I remember my DmC Jp version having the Vergil dlc code printed inside the back cover, below the disc holder. ASW will most likely print it on a separate piece of paper inside the manual.

Yes, I believe you just have to make sure the save isn't tied to an account. There are ways to change the account owner of a save but takes some extra work. I might make a save for TO's to use but the majority of tournaments use players consoles they brought in anyway. No one knows, the company has the right to hire who they want. We don't know if they have to reuse VA's that Aksys used. That'll be in their contract that we can't see.
