Can you post it up soon as you have the artwork and story mode art ripped? Got a Makoto Nanaya picture I'm really trying to get a hold of. -
Thanks for answering! I've always find that if at first you don't succeed.. be a douche and you're nearly guaranteed to get attention. =D But if those do that much damage, then I prefer the combo that I've made then. Even though it does between 50-150 less damage than those two, it's supremely easier to pull off because you do not have to do the 2366 A in order to do that orb. Though, the only problem is that you have a possibility not to know which side they may land on because of the 214A~D (3). So, I'll try out that combo that does slightly more damage and see how that works for me. I just am still iffy on the timing required for the 2366A after the dj.D (3).

Hey, been getting some combos and I want to contribute one of mine, I do not know if this is common knowledge already, but here's an anti-air combos that works with something you already have. Anti-Air CH 6A> delayed dash 5B>6A>j.B, j.C >delayed 623C whiff the follow up D >5B>6A> j.B, j.C > dj.B, dj.C >623C~D (Lvl. 3) Does 2330 damage and builds 28% meter. Also, what's the strongest combo someone has done in the corner with 2A with no meter? So far, I've gotten up to 3730 DMG.

I'll update when I got some more, but for now, from her tutorial mode, I know these are some of Makoto's new combos. (Corner Only) 2A > 5CC > 6BC > D (Lvl. 3) > 2C > 214B~D (Lvl. 3) > 2C > 2D (Lvl. 3) > D (Lvl. 3) > 5B > 6A > j.C, j.B > dj.C, dj.B > j.623C~D (Lvl. 3) (Air Grab) j.B+C > 2B > 6A > D (Lvl. 1) > 5B > 6A > j.C, j.B > dj.C, dj.B > j.623C~D (Lvl.3) (Anti-Air Counter Hit) 6A > j.C, j.B > j.623C~D (Close to the ground, second hit whiffs as she comes down) > B > 6A > j.C, j.B > dj.C, dj.B > j.623C~D (Lvl.3) (Corner to corner) 6BC > 214A~CCCCC (RC) > Dash 2C > 214B~D (Lvl. 3) > Dash 2C > 214A~D (Lvl. 3) > Dash 6A > D (Lvl. 3) > Dash 2C > 2D (Lvl. 3) > j.D (Lvl. 3) > Dash 236A~D (Lvl. 3) > D (Lvl. 3)

I play all these games, but unfortunately I won't be able to attend this event. I work mostly on weekends, so, I won't be able to come, especially with mandatory overtime now starting. If you want a good turn out, at least from people like me, should hold a tournament sometime during the actual week so people can be sure to attend. Also, I was thinking about taking a "Daily Deviation" day for this, but then again, I'm not going to waste TWO of them (Since I only have two) if this is a two day event. Though, I hope you can be Texas back up there with monthlies, biweeklies, or whatever; especially since it only seems like Absolute Battle was the main thing for Texas. Good luck.

What's up? Anyways, I go by RoK the Reaper and I've been playing BlazBlue since CT; mained Ragna in that game but main Makoto in CS. Anyways, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, I'm not available because I have work. HOWEVER, I am available Monday-Thursday, and if anyone is having any meet-ups, I'm a pretty decent player; but I'm really missing match-up experience. I play on XBox 360

I chose my characters based on who I liked and who interest me. First off, I main Ragna the Bloodedge. My name has been "RoK the Reaper" for the longest, so it's similar, and originally I was "RAGNArok the Reaper", so together our names are "Ragna Rok". Next, he's known as the Grim Reaper and I call myself the Reaper. Ragna is also notorious, so am I, I love it. Beyond that, he's all aggressive and rush down, which is me, he has a sword; and he fights reversed hand, or at least keep his sword pointed backwards, I love that. Also, "INFERNO DIVIDER!" is too good when he yells it as well as, "CARNAGE SCISSORS! ON THE BARRIER!" xD, sounds epic, best english/jap voice in my opinion. My secondary, Carl Clover, I want to use him because he's the most blood thirsty character in this game. More insane than Jin in my opinion; and he takes actual skill to play with, it's impossible to button Mash with Carl and Expect to actually win a match. Also, I love the way he says, "NEE-SAN!" In calling his sis. Also, I love what he says in his throw loop, "NEE-SAN! IKU MATSU YO!". Ontop of that ,he looks so pringles in his pink costume. And finally, my 3rd character is Noel Vermillion. I like Noel because, out of all the girls in the game, if she were real, I'd totally tap that. She has guns, one of the best astral Finishes, cool colors, good Distortion drives and she's innocent. Upon all of this as well, she has the most DIFFICULT combos in the game. Seriously, the throw whiff and character specific combos of Noel make her the most difficult character to learn to play PROPERLY in my opinion, yes, even harder than Carl.

First off, Everyone is saying instant Block like that shit is really easy, everytime I instant block it's mostly by accident, so let's dismiss that. First off, Jin has a lot more options than Ragna, he has projectiles, and freeze can lead to combos. Ice car is face and he can use it to escape corners and his Distortion drives are fast and normally inescapable as long as he uses them right (During the middle of your dash, when he knocks you down with his freeze to hit thing where you slide/Throw to Ice arrow thing). One thing I've used while fighting Jin, first, access if it's a good Jin or not. You can tell this early on by how he uses his anti-air's, if he uses Ice car or not in a unpredictable fashion and if he spams Ice moves or has combos. If it's a suck Jin, just punish the Ice car and jump in a lot. If you find out he's actually a competent player, try not to jump in as much, run in and use 5C at maximum distance or run and mix up your high/low and overheads. Particularly jab string poke, 2B, 6B and 6C (Only if you notice they stop blocking low after a certain point). Try to always land full combos on Jin, he has much more life than you do so you want to make every hit count, Ragna has huge amounts of options, including the damaging combo 623D~236B~236B > 5B > 6A> m.5D> m.5C jc.> m.5D > 623D~236B~214B.

In all honesty, this match-up is pretty retarded, I have to agree with this guy. Arakune is even worse to fight against (Once Cursed) than a really good V13; though, I really should've taken that match against HellFromAbove. This is what I know about this Match-up. Arakune is a character that relies on cursing you to win; period. It is nearly impossible for Arakune to stand a chance if his projectiles aren't on you, but he has so many different ways it's nearly impossible to stay uncursed for the length of an entire round. Ragna, not being able to destroy clouds I believe (Does Hell's Fang destroy cloud's? I haven't tested it), also, the fact he runs makes him hard to hit. My best thing? Rush, Rush and Inferno Divider like you wouldn't believe. Rapid cancel on guard, try to grab him, get as MUCH damage in as you possible can and avoid bursting early. If you get cursed again (You will) you are pretty much going to die. It's good to run away and predict when you should rush in, but if you are CURSED, avoid the corner. His Corner Trap is too good and will rape you, incredi-hard. So stay away from that. All in all, I say this is a pretty good match-up as long as you don't get cursed and pick your times to strike. Also, whenever, WHENEVER Arakune has 50% heat, always be looking to throw break, no matter wh ere he is, BE LOOKING to Throw break. Everyone loves the Throw>Distortion Laser Spider Thing>Curse. So I say just watch-out for that and you should be fine.
