I've never played an fg this much this since AC first hit consoles.

John just needs better approaches, ability to punish, and blocking/reading better. He has strong knowledge of his main, and he improved significantly yesterday when I saw him play. He blocks pretty well, just needs to learn when/where to punish things. He still is the most improved player in montreal, followed by I think dai.

BK is one of the more practical supers in the game (though I think Mugen is the only impractical one...). I'ts only troublesome to use if; your opponent is sitting on at least one burst (as stated above) and/or you activate empty (as in not using it as a reversal) or not using it at the beginning of a combo.

Carnage Scissor is ass, and I main hakumen. That says a lot, unless you're doing; a sure-fire reversal at point blank range (invincibility frames), badly timed projectiles, to get/gain health/advantage, or a kill because of its minimum damage, it's ass. And exactly that's why he has the best dp in the game, only other ones that can compete with it are hotaru and rehhyou (though that one is controversial). Why did they take out additional damage for carnage scissor when you're in BK btw? it actually made it less shitty when it had that (in my view).

Glad to hear that, sorry for hurting your feelings Lumin, I forgot how you felt about carnage scissors. I find his pressure is the least autopilot thing about him, maybe because I use hakumen and if I catch them doing b>c>gauntlet hades/death spike I get free damage from that. Anyways, hakumen/ragna need high damage output to compensate for their terrible mixup game (I speak of hakumens mixup game without meter though). EDIT: I agree his combo execution isn't like rachel/valkenhayn. But like I said mixup with Ragna isn't easy either.

Am I the only player who thinks Ragna's high damage output is justified, since he has the second lowest health coupled with sub-par mixup, and a shitty super (carnage scissor)? I don't get why he's bashed so much for having such a high damage output.

I often bring my copy, and have my data stored on cloud storage before I head to foonzo fyi. And yes ps3 pad is gdlk, it it wasn't then its general schematics would've changed by now. Just that you would only play against the stick users, and guys like kirbster, fred, calm, solomon, and etc can't play on xbox pad.
