  1. I don't knwo why people who live in the same time zones as me are still awake... But the idea of a co-mod was just to take off pressure from Spark. I know he's a busy guy that's all. As far as matchups go: Ragna, lambda (more and more everyday), valkenhayn, mu12, relius, platinum (hasn't changed much since cs2), and somewhat bang. EDIT: mAc for sure has the mirror skills, I'm ass against hakumen players
  2. Fine... I think Spark could use a co-mod. Thoughts and elections? Not that I have anything against Spark, but pretty much every thread has 2 mods for the character. And he has his own life to lead too.
  3. Really? I actually found that it wasn't necessary to archive them since most of the stuff that's there is still applicable.
  4. it's claudius who gave hakumen the susano'o unit no?
  5. Trying to get the matchup threads alive again. We seem to mostly be concerned with combos as of lately.
  6. My main problem with this matchup is honestly what to look out for to counter, and when to burst during his combos (I find early bursts make this matchup more manageable)
  7. Somewhat useful info is that j2c is useful for cutting telegraphed 5d's at full screen, it makes you fairly since when you commit to trying to cut his chains.
  8. Useful CSEX info: Ground full screen rtsd by wolf form loses to the new feet-only hurtbox of kishuu-enma. You can knock him out of it safer than in cs2. However, kishuu>enma loses to wolf cannon on anywhere within wolf cannon's max range. The only tools I see capable of dealing with wolf cannon is: shippu (7 frames until he swings helps a lot), yukikaze, 5d, hop>hotaru. Other than hop hotaru, all the other options are fairly unsafe and I wouldn't advice using them unless their use of wolf form is very telegraphed.
  9. Nothing posted here either I haven't really run into any Carl players sadly.
  10. So how do you catch the little bugger is my issue. I can't believe no one posted anything about this matchup until now. Let's get some input people, I find kishuu>enma is a fairly useless surprise tool to use in this matchup EDIT: Obviously this discussion is for extend. I don't think we need to clear out the posts, since a lot of the stuff already posted is still useful in extend.
  11. @kylehyde it's most likely Ragna that she was waiting for. Jin/Hakumen have a slight hostility towards Rachel. Is hakumen still only using 20% of his power? He seems to be a lot stronger in Continuum Shift, is Rachel's observance of him allowing him to have access to move of his power/existence locked away in the Boundary?
  12. You got a chance to play Spark?
  13. Those reasons as well. I think Mugen would be more viable if it either lasted longer, or only cost 4 magatama, or had less recovery after it's startup invincibility. I mean I think it's the least viable of all the power ups in the game.
  14. Relax guys... *Puts on shades* I got this You don't need to advance all the time in every matchup, you build meter as you stay still so you can honestly stay still until you have enough magatama to hurt them. Hakumen can pretty much hurt you from anywhere on the screen ESPECIALLY in the corner as of csex. Probably his best BB version so far. Which is a good thing, but I'm also guessing you have under 35% health when this happens. If that's the case your approach should be more cautious. No. the only person here who uses mugen combos is Walljumpman, and even he doesn't pull off mugen combos. You have to be an execution god for them. And hands of steel. And if your opponent has a burst count on them bursting when you start your combo and running away from you as you run out of meter coupled with having no life left (most likely) and they can thus go in for the kill. 6d stuff for what? Empty 6d on stuff is mostly used to prevent block stuff from moves, creates a deterrent on your opponent's approach since if they run in they'll get caught and eat damage. I honestly love kishuu and consider it insanely good since cs2, let alone in extend where it has projectile invincibility and its hitbox is only his feet. Though you should use this move sparringly since it eats your stars, if you see your opponent trying to play ground footsies with you then I would say use it. But you have multiple ways of approaching most of the cast. When using jc, you want to do it at the lowest height possible otherwise you'll get AA'd, more use things such as empty jumps and jb occasionally which will make your jumping attack choices less telegraphed because your opponent will be afraid of eating a CH combo into the corner. No, this moves main use other than combos is to cut projectiles in the air due to its startup speed hitbox and recovery. Watch Japanese hakumen players, you'll notice after they do kishuu they wait for a split second before going for 2c and continuing their combos. Kishuu goes further and faster than its cs1 incarnation. So you have a lot of time to do 2c before they recover. Should they burst you'll recover just in time to IB the burst and combo them. In the case of Zantetsu they still eat pretty much all the damage since most of the damage is in the first hit. But if you want to bait bursts with zantetsu you ideally want to have 4 magatama for kishuu. I hope that helped
  15. I actually got Jin's announcer "english" version because he sounds closest to the AC announcer though He's my favourite one in the GG announcers. And I rather not have blood, so that my religious aunts/mom don't come and bash how "games these days are so violent blah blah blah".
  16. Statements like this makes me mad.
  17. Which Announcer? I love AC's announcer, and the fact that he sounds like a Game Show Host
  18. Are we going to do anything about the matchup thread? (This is coming from the guy who hasn't updated the video thread, rite?)
  19. Lol I already feel myself whenever I combo off lightning sphere, or a vapor thrust loop though. It could be added, but not necessary, you can see how much damage you get from guard bar shifts in training mode as well, I did it, not that it made a huge different in the combos I went for though. I never knew of that, I've only seen inoue and kaqn play order sol. I've been meaning to sub him but I never had the opportunity to sub or fight against a competent order sol. I'll have to test that out when the game comes out, since my stick sin't modded for ps2 (yet).
  20. ummm no. lol lol wtf? lolno. I think it would clutter the screen. Besides when you hit training mode enough, you'll know how much damage you're going as you're doing the combo. In all honesty seeing the damage I do with hakumen is there for me to feel myself for finishing my high damaging combo in the air and nothing else. GG is SD, putting up shit like that would be too much and isn't necessary. Leave the game as is, if anything rebalance (give Anji player's back their Reloaded/Slash 6HS back, I feel sorry for them ).
  21. NOOOOOO!!!! Kirbster IS Gohan, he's half saiysian, hence why he's the main character of the story. He denies his other more powerful half in order to assert his own identity as in individual and not simply a saiysian. Only when he accepts his other half will he be able to defeat Spark-san's true super saiysian form and his: INFINITE HAKUMANZ. I'm going to tell everyone I know to repost that picture.
  22. A white man that lacks basic grammatical skills What has the world come to?! Next thing you know niggas will be reading books, and asians besides Yao Ming will professional NBA players....
  23. Take a look at this: http://www.dustloop.com/wiki/index.php?title=Ragna_the_Bloodedge_(BBCSE) Ours is pretty lackluster. I'm guessing they want us to make hakumens section more comprehensible and gives a thorough run down of all his moves and options. I wouldn't mind helping out with it though. Anyone caught Spark at BlueRevo qualifiers?
  24. *Breaking News Coming In* This just according to our reporter in Japan Kaqn "0 and Masashi are frauds and got completely exposed in front of their teammates"
  25. I'll look into that later, still not completely comfortable with 2c>sj.b yet. Still a bit awkward for me right now. I think we'll need to learn to incorporate 6a and jb in the combo now to... *puts on shades* EXTEND the combo. YYYYYEEEEAAAAHHHHHH By doing so she would be able to increase the damage within the combo.
