Montreal: Le Thread Generale Pour Weeaboo Fighters

J.F, y u so gdlk? -
Most of the damage being in the first hit, makes it more desirable anywhere on the screen if you've conditioned your opponent not to anticipate zantetsu for a quick win when they're low on health. Other than that, you're right, in most cases they're better options.

Omar, as usual with the pro-strats. You play to win, when you play to experience matchups, you're aim is to win. If you play and have a idgaf-mentality then you're not really learning the matchup and as such why are you playing online then? But when you play to win you get salty when you lose. You get even saltier when you lose due to lag. It's an obnoxious cycle, but oh well... -
4c>Zantetsu, Guren (blocked or delayed if it hits)>Zantetsu lands a lot surprisingly. I mostly use it in the corner, typically for a kill or one damaging corner combo.

... *Reads both posts by players who use netplay regularly* *realizes their characters don't really have to block, and instead force their opponent to block* lol Tager and Hakumen (though more so hakumen) are probably THE worst characters online. Their overall gameplan suffers the most. They're all about blocking and reacting. But with the internets everything is plus on block so you can't punish have the things you would offline, and if you can punish it chances are you'll do it too slow. Offline, I never get hit by gauntlet hades/death spike, but online there are several occassions where a reactionary 6d doesn't come out when I see them. Your characters benefit from online since characters have to block your mixup, which is even harder since overheads on the internets are "unblockables". Actually when I play friends like Steb, it's actually not bad at all, but maybe because xbl>psn in terms of netplay quality (it's only natural since we pay for xbl, while psn is free). Fixed. Overall, netplay has its benefits, you learn and experience different play styles. I've considerably levelled up by exposing myself to fighting even more of the BB cast than I had offline. But I still rather offline than online since I can react properly to things I see/hear, block overheads, and break purple grabs. but at the same time netplay has a double standard, you get salty as fuck when you lose to things that you KNOW you would never lose to online. It's already bad enough losing, but losing to someone who has less skill than you because they simply abuse the lag and take advantage of it, that's a piss off. But at the same time, you can't help but feel yourself even more when you win most of the time despite the lag, because you're playing with a massive handicap, meaning you need to be that much more skilled to win. So when you do win you feel all that much better about yourself, since you had to adapt to both your opponent and their playstyle coupled with the power of the internets. -

In all honesty, I'm amazed by how far this community has come. No problem Pedro. We learned from Nemesis last year not to do things by ourselves ever again lol. Anyways, should MAD be posted in srk, if it is't already that is. If not I'll handle it tomorrow. -

You always say that, but your burning tamashii will always push you to play online eventually. Anyway, I took care of informing the KOF community about our event on dreamcancel.com EDIT: Pedro, you're doing an amazing job at managing all of this, you too Brice. -

If you're asking with regards to MAD, I would suggest you ask in the tournament thread instead. You're question may get lost in the posts. -
Anyone got solutions for solving shockwave constantly crashing (about 8 times today at least). And Chrome freezes everytime I try to update this thread -__- it's getting on my nerves now.

[CSE] Hakumen Q & A: New players check here first
BladeOfJustice7 replied to Spark's topic in Archive
Things like Grab>gurren>6c>Shippu are possible again. 4c>Shippu is possible without counter hit as well. I saw it in a match it does about late 2k damage but it's good enough for it to be warranted as a threat. I'm sure there's more like what Spark posted but I don't own the game. Hakumen for cs2 or csex? -

You've done a great job John, since we're officially doing KOF13. I'll get to messaging the KOF community tonight. -
I believe shippu now has an extra frame of invincibility in csex. But it always had a small frame of invincibility at the start up.

Good job John. -
It may be tricky, but I see potential use for it into the future with csex hakumen now. And it makes him even more of a threat in the corner.

Nolan, the events surrounding EVOxBB and St1ckBuG's post played a strong role as well. -

Well, looks like my exams start on April 12th, so let's hope I don't have an exam that day (though knowing my luck I will). I doubt I'll be able to make any meets during that time outside of the tournament >_> EDIT: Are we running anything for KOF? We have a few KOF players in our scene and I'm sure in MTLSF, I would like to know since if we are I'm going to message the KOF community. -
