    Lol if we start doing that, then it'll be 2-3 people coming again, like netchamp. I plan on making up for this and last week by coming for the next two weeks. We have to maintain our presence, I would advice NOT posting about saying no to coming until after meet ups start cus then it looks like a half empty meet up. I'm also doing my best to maintain the community, which isn't easy lol.

    Gonna concentrate on school this weekend, might get some blazblue in if Gabe comes over. But, I'm really broke at the moment and I wanna make sure I get to go to the tournament. I feel bad though for not going sense I'm essentially modding the montreal forum now lol :psyduck: still not sure how this all happened... Seems like I ended up becoming a mod anyways like you said I should.

    Wow his shoulder rush is plus 3? I find people still abuse this move in their block strings but then again, he's new so people haven't gotten into their block strings. But wolf form has a lot of rush down potential based on that shadow valk player, he had solid rush down form what I've seen. But yea everyone is just worried if he'll be another ct hakumen, great damage but zoned with ease.

    C I.D has insane invincibility from frame one, not sure how long it's duration is but ti's long enough to last through yukikaze, D I.D doesn't has as much, it is mainly used for damage and not reversal purposes, hotaru SHOULD be able to beat it but this is all hypothetical talk, which isn't what this thread is for technically, it's more for what IS. If hotaru clashes with C I.D, then either jd on reaction or block and wait to punish, I found j.d after clash to be beneficial unless anyone has better advice. Also, depending on the spacing 2b clashes with c i.d.

    Uses for them are that 2/6d are used during your opponents PREDICTABLE blockstrings, never try to counter unless you're sure what they are going to do next. 2d is great for catching ground block strings in the ground, 6d is a fairly good anti air and can catch ground block strings as well. You can to know when to use them. jd's main use is either an anti air as well, or to catch obvious attacks, jump in's, and finally aerial block strings, it is the best counter now due to its active frames and combo ability. 5d has the most active frames however it's main problem is that you can no longer wonder with it unless you're against rachel due to her fat lying hitbox. Just a crazy idea Spark, but, any other obvious question that are posed in this thread you can add them in your first post like you did with the enma combo. It would save people time, and dustloop potential space.

    Also an innovative use of wolf form to get in, air dash and transform into human, while using it heavily for rush down and mix up he still also managed to not get into wolf form penalty (draining the bar). We can really see valk's potential in those vids, I was really impressed, he raped that hakumen in the last round, solid play and rush down on his part.

    Lol nolan is still salty hakumen's close range nerf. Anyways 6b breaks primers just as Dio says and it provides a chip overhead to make the opponent wary of it, along with it's drive cancel abilities, interesting note you can go into yukikaze and I THINK akumetsu as well with 6b, I was fucking around in training mode (one of the things I do when I'm not studying).

    Medium/Long range is where he excels, but it's best with regards for chip damage and cutting super long range projectiles. But he has a fairly good range game, but not nearly as good as ct's incarnation of him and not nearly as good as say ragna's close range.

    It's probably the power of order, since both are able to use it. But Jin's own is a lesser version of Hakumen's implying the power gap between them.

    Is she really that bad? I know she has like 0 medium rang attacks but I thought her speed and 3c fake allows her to get in on opponents as a gimmick? I don't use her and main hakumen so I don't know.

    Probably, I'm hoping valk won't become the new ct hakumen, great damage but noway of getting in close on people and easily zoned. Hopefully he won't need a fumajin seal like hakumen. BB has a hard time making effective close range fighters... But this match up will sorta make or break his effectiveness as a character to get in and deal damage.
