  1. What don't you like about hakumen in continuum shift?

  2. Lol about time you joined, jeeze.

  3. Yea yukikaze makes people second guess, but it's not THAT effective at top playing mind games, you have to really know your opponents block strings. Best used for yukikaze and all other counters (including akumetsu if you wanna be excessively stylish) is to ib>counter. But those you have to be careful with, they aren't as securing as compared to jayoku houtenjin, I find at least. But personally, I don't find haku versus hazama in haku's favor though. It looks even to me and from what I experienced, cutting ouroboros isn't that easy.
  4. Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the ouroboros hitstun stop at mid range? And tech roll in mid screen punishment is just as good in the corner? Correct me where I'm wrong, maybe i missed something watching matches. EDIT: Isn't hakumen a bad match up for him?
  5. Hazama has shit medium range, his only medium range attack in jakou, which you can barely combo with and does messily 450 damage. Hazama excels at close and long range, more so close range. His lack of medium range is why he can't punish tech rolls. Put him at real mid range against hakumen and tell me who will win.
  6. GLad to be of help, tell sophis I sent you.

  7. Lol sounds like a deal. Talk to Sophis if you want solid hakumen tips, he's a solid haku player. But before you add him make sure you get good connection with him, which is upper east coast.

  8. Yea maybe in the winter semester and if I could somehow put that on my c.v then sure. I mean I hate more things than the average human being lol. Hows hakumen and cs coming along for you?

  9. Sorry if I came off as an ass, just that dustloop ever since blazblue came out got cluttered with a bunch of useless threads. SO it's irritating to see so many threads, when people could just read threads and check first. But I am glad to have helped you.

  10. Online play doesn't necessarily mean the same for offline sophis. This vid should provide for a solid gameplay example of how to play mu: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm11807822 Fights with mu star in the second match. His projectile cutting is something to be observed since it is very difficult to cut mus lasers. Same guy different mu opponent: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm11478090 Would type more but I'm lazy, his use of 4c though is mainly used during the laser reflection attack, but only when he is not surrounded by the pods. If he is surrounded by the pods and if he is surrounded by them with the lasers reflecting he does a jbarrier block to avoid as much mixup game as possible. Very smart.
  11. That really good hakumen player on psn again: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm11670753 The way he cut litchi's staff in the first round was really impressive, along with the way he handled mu in the last fight for the most part
  12. Initially I thought the same thign and then the mugen combo:v: And then in the second match things only got worse:vbang:
  13. This is a great example of what NOT to do against tager, espedially the rematch, why was he trying to aa so much?: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm10722048 If anyone feels that this should be posted int eh tager matchup thread feel free to do so.
  14. Watch your replays both wins and losses and compare them to how pros play both offline and online. Preferably offline japanese players are the best, them and spark. That's how you improve, along with reading about the match ups.
  15. Impressive Makoto player: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm11863636

  17. 2c used to block projectiles in ct, if you timed it perfectly you could use 2c to block the entirety of nu's sword portal super, I think it's called legacy edge?
  18. Just thought I should post this: hakumen's 2c doesn't cut any projectiles, I don't know if this was on purpose or they simply forgot to give it auto gaurd against projectiles. But i just finished testing 2c on hishouken, ouroboros, death spike, jabaki, and bang's shuriken special d nails. I tried all the other slashes on them and they cut the projectiles, but 2c doesn't the most it does is clash like with with ouroboros and jabaki, since they are hybrid physical projectiles. I will continue testing against projectiles from the rest of the cast.
  19. Hakumen (who is much stronger now, comapred to ct) and jin caused minimal damage to mu. Says a lot about her strength.
  20. Nu recognizes Ragna in ct, doesn't stop her from going into town on his ass, in every loop I might add. And ragna being stronger than the 6 heroes does make sense, since the current ragna beat mu and mu > black beast. This could be the potential jubei saw, since the bloodedge incarnation of ragna was able to hold off the black beast for so long without aid. So naturally the current ragna would be able to eventually defeat something as strong if not stronger than the black beast by himself.
  21. Now THAT makes sense, I thought it was pure story rubbish and that BB story was turning into GG story. Doesn't seem to be the case now, so then one could say Ragna truly does have the capacity to surpass the 6 heroes, which he is already doing, he beat mu more or less single handedly. "When Ragna and Nu fell into the Cauldron together, Jin didn’t see them fuse – he saw Nu, who was at her limit thanks to seithr overdose, absorb/fuse with Ragna’s false Azure Grimoire, and only that. While Ragna landed in 2106 with no memories, Nu landed in 2100, likely also without her memories – but just before she ended up there, the Grimoires completely devoured her, resulting in the creation of the Black Beast. After Ragna managed to stall it for a year (maybe the Black Beast/Nu still recognized him somehow?), ate and absorbed him, which is what made the Beast killable in the end; since injuring it would harm both Nu and Ragna and the same time, it was significantly easier to fatally injure both of them, fulfilling the life-link’s criteria of both halves of it being fatally injured at the same time in order for them to be able to die." WOW now THAT makes a lot of sense, since in innocent black who is talking is without a doubt Ragna, but, he still has amnesia so naturally he doesn't understand why he is so black. This also explains why jubei has this need to redeem himself, he feels guilt for technically killing bloodedge, who is ragna, whom was absorbed into the black beast, making it killable because, the blackbeast absorbed the second half of its life link. That's fucked up... EDIT: New found respect for ragna now, he has the potential to be THE most powerful hero.
  22. How about one of these with hakumen xD please
