Yea JackG, i know this is a fairly noobish question to ask, but after watching you play and stomping a nu, and then recently playing a fairly competent nu irl (AirMaster). I have begun to see where hakumens barrier block so much once they are airborn against her or do their best to IB, she has several d's that are unblockable no? BTW what does IIRC stand for? EDIT: Giant sword can be j.d'ed tested ti out and it worked

Yea I'm one who likes to optimize their damage thus 6d is something i have to get used to, try it out look at the damage of 6c>shippu and then 6d>6c>shippu its like nearly 1500 damage in difference!!!!! x[ By the way what is yomi =/?

It's like watching an immovable object face an unstoppable force, I'm pretty sure you know whose the unstoppable force and the immovable object =P. Considering that you're asian it's difficult to grasp you going to church and not a buddhist temple (not to be racial or an ass). But i would be at his house for several hours if next weekend works out. I'll try to add you when I get there.

Good point since I would bait my friend's dp's with ragna and either counter or punish based on how sure I am of the dp. Thanks once again ryoko:yaaay:

And for my counter's I'm REALLY good at anticipating attacks, (yea i play A LOT of AGGRESSIVE players) Don't feel bad you aren't the only hakumen to say so about my countering skills. I play based of anticipation and adaptation that's why.

Yea my friend is good since the GG days we had so i had to learn to counter attack with Ky so hakumen just compliments me perfectly, it's all about anticipation. 5d has the longest start up so I only use it during air dashes towards me since it also has the longest activation (12 frames or so) 6 and 2c have only 7 active frames and also only have a 1 frame startup so they are best for countering fast projectiles. I prefer 2d since it deals damage and 6d combos are heavily prorated and hakumens are combos are hard to pull off especially kishuu>enma which is why i RARELY use them >_>. But 6d is better for countering nails since bang is most likely gonna air dash at you but 3d si great for flinging them into the corner for zantetu's :D As for hotaru after jd, it requires timing and practice, I don't even have that perfected yet D: Do the motion input as you grab confirm the counter. And then when he sends them up press b. It should usually land it's hard tho.

Well my friend would be available and he's become a solid ragna user >_> so we'll kill him instead, try to get Moi_x7 (or however his user name is spelt) i believe he mains jin, I need to work on my jin match-up and it seems that he's skilled (I'm going solely based off his online psn ranking in total wins).

Well my friend Saido Shiro (that's his alias) he has BB. So when I get the chance to head there we could play I'm EST just so you know I'm guessing you're PST no? But I myself own BB on the 360, remember how you said all the fairly good hakumen users are on the xbl, I'M ONE OF THEM:eng101:

I personally like countering in the middle of IB's on block strings but I personally don't see pro hakumen players do so:eng101: As for my ps3 account, this is my friends account and ever since getting into University coupled with a part time job I don't have much time to head there, words of advice Miso sicne ur the youngest don't work and go to uni:8/:.... SO you are free to add him but be ready for the opposite of my fighting style which is a VERY aggressive ragna player. Be VERY careful against him with all I put him through he sees counters coming from a mile away:keke:

Yea I know about the hop special, but even then you have less than a second by my estimates to input hotaru/tsubaki >_< I wasn't aware that a proper tk left you slightly higher than a hop special tho =0... That's interesting to know....

HOW THE HELL DO YOU HAVE SUCH GOOD TK'ING SKILLS?!!!! If I could master it I would use tsubaki more often >_<. Also, do you break green grabs out of anticipation, or cus you've played that much and you can react in time? =0

Ok first I would like to say after watching JackG play, HE IS FUCKING AWESOME!!!! I learned a whole lot from watching him play nu, still a tough match-up tho, but I picked up quite a bit form watching you play. Secondly is there any prior posts in this thread about mastering IB's? I'm currently trying to master doing this, but I am wondering is it best to learn this via mid-battle (and when I say mid battle I mean both offline and online play, I have REALLY good connection and can manage to IB against rachel occasionally)? Or is it better to try and learn to do so in training mode and set the comp to do certain block strings? EDIT: someone explain to me the humor in that "nigga said EX slayer" avatar, there's like 2 or 3 people with the same avatar I wanna be in on the joke:v:

I'm pretty sure this qualifies as info, I thought people would notice this by now by hazama's drive count has no effect on his other moves that use ouroboros like his dp-esq attack, I saw that someone had a 0 count for ouroboros yet they were still able to perform this attack.

Once again sir, you are awesome. How you find videos to relate to whatever you say simply leaves me amazed. Although nothing has been able to beat your "we ran out of cd space" post on the "what if ragna had sol's fire powers".

Yea i came into the naruto world pretty late , it was only a year until after i finished season one of naruto till shippuuden began. So I didn't have to get stuck with the fillers. =] So.... whose your favourite zanpakutou human form right now, senbonzakura WAS hype until Kuchiki made him look like a bitch. Right now hyourinmaru even though he's been beaten by histugaya, he's still badass in my eyes. And Zangetsu is forever badass in my eyes, whenever he says something it's so deep. @_@
