I don't remember the english names to his attacks but I believe you're referring to his overhead. And it's still an overhead, that can be combo off of big characters like Hakumen. But yes gashokayku is very strong in this version of the game since you can combo off of it with or without CH. But it looks like his damage lies in using the snake movement to combo his stance moves together.

Azrael players need to learn to make better use of Growler with regards to projectiles, them seem to be afraid of using it for some reason.

She is, and he seems to be aware of her strength. In terms of ordinary matches, his reaction/dialogue when beating her is the same as when he beats of the 6 Heroes.

Hazama will probably body his shit, or at least excite Azrael. Hazama will probably coerce him, through force by beating him, to join NOL and leave S7. I've been calling it since day 1, Azrael doesn't know who Hazama is and loves to fight anyone that's strong, someone beating him who wants to destroy shit is something that he'll enjoy. Especially since his violent tendencies are always curtailed by S7, in so far as locking him away.

It's safe enough to warrant its use and it's safe enough that if blocked, allows you enough time to back dash. But yes, it is a very strong neutral tool for Azrael.

Arcade modes are exacerbated story modes that show the character being used a bit stronger than they actually are. Though yes, he's incredibly powerful, looking forward to when he meets Hakumen to be honest with you. I wanna hear the insulting things hakumen says to him as well :3 But yeah, I have no idea where they're going to end up with Azrael. This dude is just violence personified. Shit, I'm more interested in who can stop this guy. He's becoming one of the most interesting characters both in the new roster, and amongst the entire cast. Even his combo system/damage have added to his excitement. When he was originally announced, he looked the least interesting. Now he's America's Hero, especially when used by ESP lol.

I don't see why Azrael players shouldn't try to eat projectiles as opposed to dodging them, except Spark Bolt, It's a free get out of pressure tool and it provides you with projectiles of your own, and are almost as good of projectiles as Spark Bolt.

I would also like to what does the calligraphy stand for in the circles for Hakumen's specials, and if the symbol used for his Kokuujin techniques mean anything. You can see the symb-ol when he's preparing Shippu, and it's at the center of the yukikaze seal. I would also like to know what he calls Valk: 来い、俊老。, Koi, shunrō. I was told it means "Great Wolf" or something along those lines.

Yes, it is her soul transmitted inside of it by Relius. Relius told Carl that Ada willingly did it, he put her soul inside of it because after the Dark War it no longer had the ability to power itself. This is the same thing that happened with Ignis, it's the soul of his wife. Without a soul the can barely work or move.

Impressive how it hasn't already. I tend to keep my knowledge of a story centered on certain aspects, and I leave out others. Are all the 6 Heroes (minus I guess Jubei and Terumi) weaker than they were during the dark war? Hakumen is supposedly at 20%, and if that's the case why is he able to keep up with Valkenhayn and Terumi, especially when Terumi uses Blazblue? That sort of stuff doesn't make sense to me, or is Hakumen simply getting stronger as the storyline goes by? Or is it that Rachel's observation of him made him even stronger than his CT version?
