I love going to watch streams and having people trying to figure out if the dominating Azrael on stream is ESP or not. Even though his gamertag CLEARLY said ESP, and there's only one extremely strong Azrael player who uses Johnny's colors. Anyways on stream I saw ESP to yomi through a burst and used teleports to cross up dps. Also back dash into dash punch seems to be really strong, you just have to make sure not to whiff it. But he seems to be able to make pressure much all of his pressure strings safe through backdashes, and can use them to make moves from the opponent whiff with it, and punish the moves with his own. I guess he's very Slayer like? -

If it really is that fast then it should be able to work in the same manner as Hakumen's Shippu CSEX into CP. Any guesses on how big its vertical hitbox is, maybe it could catch airdashes and etc like the way Shippu does. The super is very fast. Or even back dash and make moves whiff into the super possibly? -

I just realized that there's a playlist for each character. I think I'll add the Hakumen playlist to the Hakumen Video Thread. Should serve some use. And what's with you maining big breasted tomboy women with no health? First Baiken and now Bullet? -
Probably gamer pics to be honest with you. And I'm also guessing some will be unlocked in game as well to be used. I can't believe so much is stored on a nesica card.

I wouldn't be surprised if Azrael has as much health as Hakumen. He needs a lot of health for his sort of play style. -

True, but tager has absolutely no escape plan, Valk has wolf form evasion, Hazama has ouroboros, Ragna/Jin can dp/airdash/run if they can find or see an opening. But Tager can only go one way, backwards. -

I know a lot of people who will play Azrael for that Kamina color palette. Shoutouts to ArcSys for having 2 character references for Kamina (the other being Bang). -
I was just about to post that video. That video has more swag combos in it. NOW I'm hype, it felt like you had to mash special moves together to get damage out. I always loved how hakumen used his normals to extend his combos, and thus increase the amount of special moves he can use in combos, which always added more damage to his combos and leaves him with sufficient star count. Different combo system, yet still stay true to the character, this is what I was hoping for. Also they're not looking so easy now :P EDIT: Also good to note, that kishin can be activated in the*air, and dat 6 heroes theme... I need that song... Wait, what? I'm still clueless. Interesting. Spark or anyone, any guesses why this worked?

He has enough of his old tools that made him good, and there's enough bullshit in the game that makes it deep and far from shallow. But still the bullshit doesn't have that much of an impact on high level play (yet). Huh? So far nothing yet. Agito is pretty much a combo ender.

Stated that in the video thread, they're making it easier to combo off of it regardless of your spacing and screen position.

ct looks untechable till they touch the floor, so it should be a delayed 2c, since jb's hitbox is hakumen's lower half of his body. if they didn't want us to use it in tandem with kishin, they would've already removed mugen. But I guess they want to give our power up super some sort of use by entering unlimited mode for 5 seconds and 10 more seconds of still being fairly op'ed.

Ok good, just wanted to be sure. Haven't seen anyone do it and he lost the ability to do so in loketests, i thought they kept that. lol I'll take that as a yes.

He's good, not bad, not stupid good, not stupid bad, just simply good. If he had his csex counters, he would be really good complete. But this new magatama gain has me looking forward to him, and his combos look hella easy now lol. Azrael 8k combos? Gonna go check the Azrael forums now.

Good stuff Spark, it's worth noting that the second hit of zantetsu has a vacuum effect, making it easier to combo off of it regardless of your spacing and magatama count. I haven't paid attention to how much stars he gains per combo, just took a quick look at it, and that's what stood out to me the most. He does seem to gain a lot of meter back per combo, regardless of how much you spend. But we have no way of using Shippu enders, and are we able to do followups after yukikaze? I haven't seen anyone do it so far. Different barrier levels refer to when your character barrier guards a ct, Hakumen barrier'ing a ct would mean he has approx 2/3's of his barrier still left, compared to murakumo's or noel who would have about half their barrier left. In situations like that, everyone's barrier would be drained incredibly fast. This is true, though he'll be able to block it now, if anything he can time multiple drills to throw off our timing to get a ch into a free combo. But this is all speculation at this point. yes he must level up his drill, which starts at lv. 1 all the way to lv. 3, I'm not entirely sure how the process works but if you over use your drills they overheat and revert back to level 1. It's really not that serious because it's the hakumen video thread. But if it really bothers you, I'll change, I don't really mind lol. Just say the word
