  1. You speak as if it'll ever come out on the 360. *sigh*
  2. Any word on when Valk will be on the 360 version or has Aksys Games pretty much screwed us over?
  3. It's what cool people do?
  4. Fine, here's some logic. You seem like a hypocrite. You claim that people calling for nerfs are scrubs and should just get better at who they're playing, but it's apparently totally acceptable to buff Tager and Hakumen so they can "deal with the top tiers". How about those Tager and Hakumen players simply become better players and learn their matchups? Or better yet, balance the game by nerfing what needs to be nerfed, therefore giving everyone a better chance at defeating top tiers...which is what we've already said, but you seem to have a dead objection against. The game has been out for a while, we've identified the problems, and there needs to be solutions soon. What's the use in waiting a "few years" to do what needs to be done right now before it gets out of hand? Because I guarantee you, if Nu had won SBO, we'd never hear the freaking end of the shittalking against BB.
  5. You realize that you totally invalidate your argument when you use that word, right? It's like people using the word "weeaboo".
  6. Name: Dexter. Location: Warner Robins, GA. Travel Distance: Pretty much nowhere outside of Warner Robins. Unfortunately, I don't have a car. Character: Bang. Skill Level: Moderate. I'm trying to become better every day, but it feels like I've hit a wall lately. *shrug*
  7. I'm not surprised (nor impressed) that Arakune won the tourney, but that's infinitely better than Nu winning. I can't even imagine the flak BB would get from the rest of the fighting game community if that happened. All-in-all, I'm proud that Dora got that far. Makes me feel even more motivated to become as good as him one day. lol
  8. Yes! It finally happened! 100 views without a single reply!
  9. The time it takes kinda differs from person to person. But the hand-shaking thing is pretty normal. It happens to me too sometimes during matches, and I think it's because of the adrenaline. :p And my right thumb usually feels pretty tight after extensive online gameplay. (Using a PS3 controller).
  10. Is it because of Daifunka's invicibility at startup or some other special factor?
  11. Most conventions have a pretty strict weapon rule, especially against real weapons such as katanas or nunchucks - they flat-out aren't allowed inside. But yeah, I can imagine security absolutely turning you away at the door for trying to bring in a nearly 10-foot tall wooden stick. The thing's a bunch of accidents waiting to happen. XD
  12. I don't know exactly where this question would go, but I'm guessing it's here since this section related to fighting game media. Anywho, I'm an avid guitar nooblet and I love trying covers of my favorite songs in different video games. And I'd definitely love to try some of the things I've heard in BlazBlue. Particularly, "Rebellion" and "Bullet Dance". Unfortunately, it seems the only guitar tab I've found for BlazBlue so far has been "Under Heaven Destruction", which is a good song and all, but it's not what I want to play. Does anyone know of any more tabs?
  13. I haven't read the entire thread, so I don't know if this has already been posted or not. If it has, I'm sorry for stealing it from whoever found it first. XD After fooling around with Bang in Training Mode and trying to do rapid cancel grabs after landing the hit and following up with another grab (a.k.a the DBZ shit, lol), I've found that after Bang's B+C grab hit lands, you can land a poison kunai exactly after. And if timed right, it actually keeps the opponent close to you so you can follow up with more mixups and go into another BnB or possible air combo instead of sending the opponent flying across the screen. Again, this is probably really old news. But I just feel happy finding out things for myself. lol
  14. I find myself sucking whenever I use j.D Like, I ALWAYS whiff j.D. *shrugs*
  15. Jin doesn't have a single bad matchup (which isn't as balanced as some forumgoers seem to think) and waggle input in a high-paced fighter is shit. So yeah, Jin is one of Bang's worst matchups. Not only does Bang suffer from subpar damage and limited shurikens, but his priority is kinda low on most attacks. And nothing feels worse than whiffing an attack and being Gale'd in the air.
  16. Changed my PSN to Elstraim.
  17. I'd definitely put Bang around 7. He's not impossibly hard to learn, but isn't noob friendly at all. A lot of his attacks are pretty punishable if blocked or whiffed (2D comes to mind), and he requires a lot of work to actually dish out damage. Being able to read opponents and knowing when to counter, knowing matchups, predicting where opponents will move & and where to toss particular nails, and knowing which combos work particularly well against certain characters all play a fairly big part in mastering Bang. Then there's the well-known Furinkazan, which I've found to be pretty hard to control. However, I've heard (and seen via Youtube) that you'll pretty much become a beast when you've learned to use FRKZ to its full extent. But I'm ages away from doing that. :p Overall, Bang's fairly difficult to wield. But, as with all fighting games, all it takes is motivation and discipline to become a pro. ^^
  18. I don't mean any offense, but...how could this thread work exactly? I mean, any strategies and stuff discussed would ultimately boil down to "Play better than the other Bang". =/
  19. Bang is the descendant of Captain Harlock, the cousin of Kamina, and is fueled by pure spiral energy and all that is gar. Naturally, I had to pick him. lol But really, I like Bang's mixup and strategies involving throwing nails. I also find his drive to be pretty useful. So, I just stuck with him after trying the rest of the players.
  20. Found your profile. lol

  21. I don't play online often due to the fact that I won't have my own internet connection until sometime next month, but I hardly ever do a full BnB combo into Bang's DD. It lowers the damage by quite a bit. But there are times when it's pretty useful to combo into it, such as when your opponen's on their last little bit of life and want to ensure victory. But if you're just looking to take off a good chunk of their energy, I usually do the first 3 hits of his standard BnB (5A, 5B, 2B), then 623B and go into the DD, connecting when they rebound from the wall. Or do the full standard BnB combo (5A, 5B, 2B, 2C, 6D), jump and input the spider nail projectile as soon as they begin to tech roll up. By the time they fully get up, Bang's idle time before firing the nail is gone and it's already hitting their face. By then, the combo counter's reset, they're frozen from the nail, and they're wide open for a full-powered wallplant (his DD, lol) as soon as you land.
  22. This is probably going to sound extremely noobish, but what does the \/ notation mean?
  23. PSN - Moriganna_Code Location: Warner Robins, GA Unfortunately, I can't be online a lot of the time because for the time being, I don't have the internet at my home. So I have to steal random unprotected wireless router signals, and most of the time, they're too weak to support an online match without heavy lag. But I'll have the internet at my house again within a month or so, and I'll be online full-force.
  24. PSN: Moriganna_Code Location: Warner Robins, GA. I'll be aiming to be the best Bang user on PSN in the southeast. :p
  25. Thanks for the civilized reply. It's nice to find someone that can actually give an opinion instead of locking the thread and penalizing me, which is what a certain moderator did.
