  1. Alright lets begin. I like this match up. If you agree or disagree with anything being said please voice your opinion. For Tao's mix up game in this match up. 2C, 632146C and 6C will stop a lot of her airborne mix ups. For the ground portion 2C is her only good viable option outside Bursts and counter assaults. If you see a Rachel player constantly using cat chair block then proceed to punish with a 5B or a grab. Rachel is one of Tao's easier mix ups opponent. If you stay on point you can continue to punish her. As for Rachel block strings. 5A, 6A, j.B, j.C and the first hit of 5C are all normal's that can be crawled under. When A Rachel player attempts 5B> 5D> 5C~C> 236B or 236C. You can crawl under the 236B/C. Keep in mind that Rachel's 236A cannot be crawled under in this block string. 214B~D can also be crawled under in a neutral state. After a Tao's j.8D~A loop combos. When the Rachel is in the air. You may see the Rachel player use j.214A and j.214B. when you see this jump and use j.8D~B. This will land you a counter hit. Although if the Rachel player catches on. they will either come down normally or use j.2C. If Rachel catches you in the corner be aware of her 4B. The typical setup is 5B> 5D> 4B. This can be countered with 5B, 236236D or 214214C after 5B. Lastly do not sit on your meter in this match up. use counter assaults often. It is very easy for Rachel to break Tao's guard Primer.
  2. Alright I will try and start all of these. I personally don't like this match up. If you agree or Disagree with anything please voice your opinion. When you play this match up you need to be aware of the Haku players skill level. He has a lot of different options to punish Tao. If you can tell that he knows the match up be calm and patient for you will have to bait his counters. When you play this match up be very careful. Hakuman has 4 normal's you can crawl under on the ground. These are 5A, 2A, 5B, and 4C. In the air you can crawl under j.A, J.C, j. 214B. Whenever Hakuman goes for air dash j.2C > 2A. Block j.2C then Duck 2A for a punish or to triple jump out of the way. This is very common setup for any Hakuman. If the the Haku is smart enough to catch on he will replace 2A with an 6A so be mindful. Next Whenever Haku is trying to zone you out with j.C or 4C. Time your dashes to crawl under these normal's for a punish. If you get caught in the corner watch for j. 214C, however if your opponent goes for J. 214B crawl under it and hit 5B for a counter hit in the air if you are fast enough. Otherwise he will be able to block. Whenever you go for a mix up be ready to block. Haku counter, 5A, 6A and 2C await you on any of Tao's airborne mix ups. If you find yourself being read. Calm down and try a mix while already blocking to try and throw the Haku game. This can be achieved by using 2A every now and then to keep them guessing. As for Haku block strings. A lot of it revolves around 5A and 2A. both of these can be crawled under. However pay attention. Depending on the Haku skill level he will bait the crawl and punish with any of his specials on the ground or with 3C and 6B. Lastly if you see that the Haku is breaking by just trying to counter everything throw in a lot of grabs to really confuse him. This is not very good match up for Tao keep that in mind
  3. What normal's are you using to punish Ada?
  4. I will get this started. If you feel that there is anything wrong or misplaced. Please voice your opinion. Always pay close attention to Ada! If she is near Carl or on the screen watch for 8D and Con Brio. A smart Carl will look for you to use your drive in the air. Proceed with caution for these could potentially lead to heavy CH combos. However if you can bait them out by using Tao's drive faints you may be able to damage Ada or even land Counter Hit according to the Carl player's skill level. As for Carl pressure. If possible try to crawl under his 5B and punish afterwards if he is not using Ada for support. If you get caught up in Carl's sandwich pressure. Look for 6D and 5B in his block strings to crawl under. Afterwards jump if possible to punish Carl with a j.C or j.2B. If you ever find yourself blocking Carl and Ada in the corner while you have no meter. look for an opportunity to sticky kitty out of the corner as soon as possible. Be mindful of Carl's 5C as for it will punish pretty much all of your normal's except for 5C and j.C with the right conditions. Lastly you can crawl under j.A keep this in mind. As for Tao's mix ups in this match up. They all work very well if Ada is not around. Keep in mind that Carl's 6A can stuff out the 2D~B and 236D mix ups. Lastly look for when a Carl user might try and Vivace out of your pressure. These can be easily baited and lead into big CH combos.

  8. Before I decide to bring my 360 to Evo again. Is there anyone here interested in playing casual's on the 360 for BB:CS2?
  9. OK Km. Is the combo still possible on Platinum in general? I cant test it since I do not have her.
  10. New to these forums. I have a question. In the corner when I hit confirm j.C(CH)->5B->3C->236CC->5D~A->j8D~A loop (x5) I have trouble hitting the 5th loop on Platinum. I have not bought her yet and I have attempted to try this in player matches online but no sucess. Is this possible or am i having trouble simply due to the lag?
