2D generally whiffs deep in the corner because of how the angle of the attack hits. Also corner throw bnb doesn't work on Naoto or Yukiko

Optimize your combos. There were a lot of instances of unnecessary meter usage or strange variations that made the combo drop early or not get as much damage. Work on hit confirming your attacks instead of autopiloting. There were a few times where you got a CH 6B and autopiloted into 2A, losing a potential 4k in damage in the process. This is more of an "online sucks" thing: Simplify some combos in order to make sure they land 100% of the time. For example, after a 2D freeze you can simply 6B and go straight into sekkajin instead of risking dropping the dash 5B afterward and getting no damage at all. Pay attention to what item Platinum has equipped so you have an idea of how she will approach/defend against you. The fact that she can't have access to everything at the same time lets you know what you can or can't do against her. Stop doing random ice cars.

I didn't realize Evo was that weekend. NCI usually continues over the summer though.

Yep. I repaired it enough to the point where I can boot it up into the XMB but it just doesn't run any games off disc or harddrive despite being able to play music off the harddrive just fine. Lol I could turn it on and leave it to idle on the XMB and start warming up food on the casing

I found a video online that showed a method to fix it. Basically the problem was that the inside of the console got so hot the solder melted and shifted the CPU out of position so you just needed to get a heat gun that goes up to about 700F and heat it up back into position. I would only worry about it if your PS3 is really old and/or you've been noticing the fan has been going at full blast/really loud lately. Might wanna back up your save data because it shuts off without warning and could potentially corrupt your HD in the middle of a save process. You will be in full on hulk rage if you play RPGs lol. I have the old fat 60gb one myself.
