I was considering posting about the same material as in the OP's first post when I found out, but was also a bit uncertain regarding the rule. According to Gwyrgyn "faceplant" Blood: I interpret this that as long as we properly tag links to other sites and stay away from directly bringing it to DL, it's cool.

No problem, I'm not 100% sure that was what he/she meant though. In all honesty I was taken aback by the question, as I wasn't sure the question was the meaning of ping or the problem I went to explain. The latter being something I can understand but the forementioned being well... I thought it was something any gamer knew of (No offense intended if that was the case). But yeah, I know of cases with people living right next to the server and the routing ping-ponging across half the town before it reached his end.
