  1. My most recent matches online with Jin: Dlanijer's Jin Kisaragi Playlist I make a lot of silly mistake button presses, careless throws, random ice cars. I also want to know what I need to add to my game? Zoning with iceballs? Better use of Jin's DP? He's growing on me, more than Ragna perhaps?
  2. To add to what Titanium said: You'll see drumming and double tapping a lot in Street Fighter games (I don't play MvC so idk if its there also) for things like special moves or their supers. Since character's special moves such as fireballs and DP hardly change other than properties, drumming can insure that you get a special move off, such as at the end of a combo or on wake up. Supers (not Ultras in SFIV) are drummed too because they require a directional input + one of the attack buttons. Whether its punch or kick determines which buttons to drum. As Titanium also said this isn't used as much in BB because each character has a unique moveset that utilize each specific button for a specific move. EX. Ragna can ONLY do HF with A and D for the followup. Jin has his iceballs and ice car (pretty much most of his moves) using different buttons, but their properties per each specific button vary so which one to use needs to be considered and hardly drummed. Also (like Titanium said, again) inputs are held for up to 5 frames. Even if you wanted to drum Jin's moves.. the timing isn't super strict that you would have to.
  3. I'm not sure what the right answer is but in my experience: - you start off learning the combo and mashing the button - after awhile you start to get the timing down - then later on the mashing slowly becomes one button press (but not necessarily all the time) Online, especially, mashing may not be a good idea. Example, tonight as I was playing, I get a CH Inferno Divider from the ground and I want the Upper and the last Punch to be delayed so I can combo easier. However, if I mash C (even for just the first hit) for some reason all of them come out super fast online. So it may benefit to just learn the timing both online and offline, IMO.
  4. Ragna Install refers to the Distortion Drive Blood Kain. Its called Ragna Install because its similar to Sol's Dragon Install. As for worth learning, Blood Kain is high risk high reward. But I don't use it so I can't give good advice on it.
  5. This is more venting than anything, but still on the subject of Matchups with v-13. So I finally get home from work and after waiting for my brother to finish his Fight Night Round 4 training for that GameStop tourney, I got my nightly dose of BB. A couple Nu's here and there, lost two matches. I told myself this time I will definitely win against the next Nu I see! And low and behold, next Ranked Match I come upon, Nu! So we get the party started and I evade blades left and right, IB, barrier, and air dashing my way to get to her. Some BnB's here and there, a nice counter hit or two and I win the first rebel! Rebel two starts and the same deal, dodging as best as I can. I get her in the corner and 5B, 5C connects into Hell's--- Connection Lost (or something along those lines). Ugh, I finally get a chance to win against one Nu and its a disconnect. Now I have an incomplete game and a sore taste in my mouth, but it's probably just the Green Tea.
