  1. yea I'm having trouble too. She has that one combo that can repeat about three times on Tager. Once she touches me its combo city, and I can't seem to tech at all from it.
  2. I'm still having problems with this matchup. His air dash moves including his freeze cross-up have so much range. I can't seem to air collide them fast enough. I keep getting caught in preesure freeze combos, where I end up frozen at the end of them. And they repeat. I don't even have time to backdash. Literally. If I try to barrier block he just starts throwing out projectiles. Or he does his B blizzard. Which is his anti-air but since I'm so tall it hits me from a good distance. I actually have a harder time fighting Jin then Nu. Because her moves are so telegraphed I can advance fairly easy.
  3. I'll have to work on my throw game. And find when Jin has a window open for something.
  4. Going through Jin's projectiles with sledge wouldn't be smart though, because if he's throwing them he's probably doing them from far away. By the time you stopped it with a sledge he's on you. Also his projectiles are so slow he can run in and go for a air attack. 360a has more range, but is way slower. Also 5b has less range then 5a, so if you land more than 2-3 5a by mistake 5b won't hit. And I can't guarrantee that I'll have spark bolt, especially if he decides to block it. He might be magnatized, but with his pressure game I don't want him near me. are you saying that if I backdash through any move at any time even if their spamming jabs my 360a will go through that? Similar to a wake-up.
  5. I'm having Jin problems too. His pressure game is just too much. I can't seem to find a opening even if I INCLUDE the backdash at the right time. If I use push block he just gains enough distance to either A. use a projectile, B. Use a drive move, C. use any of his C moves which give him distance and I can't interrupt with 5a. I'm really at a loss. He's just way too fast, at least Ragna has openings if he messes up a move. But Jin has 3 forms of ice car if he wants to do mix ups all day. And not like it matters Tager Doesn't really have any combos out of spamming a few 5A's. So if I go for the Buster and they have the knowledge when their combos end they just get out of it everytime. IMBA
  6. this video doesn't make me any happier to play Tager. That Nu player didn't even really do anything special.
  7. I was having that problem to. Trying to gain ground constantly with 236B and just getting punished on the Wiff. I just try to time 236A instead and if she throws the low blade I do a j.c to gain more ground.
  8. try your best to land that spark thing. Thats about it, I find Nu very unbalanced in this game. Its kinda annoying and ruins it completely. Not that she's amazingly good, but its not hard to be effective with her.
  9. I have just been having trouble with everyone in general. They just spam attacks, and I can't even manage to get in a jab. If I do a tech roll they just spam jabs while I'm getting up and I'm in another combo. I might just choose another character. Tager is far worse than Potemkin. if Tager had that jumping up and down attack he had, that fall that knocks them down, or that move you charge and it goes through attacks. Then he'd be fixed.
  10. Heh the Tager 101 pretty much covers everything. I dunno why I thought I was posting on gamefaqs. The people on Dustloop don't mess around.
  11. I seem to be having problems against Ragna's constant attack. His easy combos seem to end with me just being slightly out of range to punish any of his attacks. I can't do any quick move that goes into a combo. So when he finishes his combo that I block he just rushes me again with jabs. Any ideas? I seem to be having this problem with a lot of characters. They get close but not in range of 2B into 2C.
